There's been a huge amount of hype about Taco Casa in Owasso and some mediocre reviews. I finally did a drive thru order. It's an old school drive with the outside lane being a car hop. The line went fast but the parking lot is a bit tricky and busy. I got a lite taco and a chilada. Both were good and one of either would be plenty. This is old school fast Mexican food. It's not fancy but I can see totally craving this. I would return. Service was quick and the food was good. read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time finally.. very nice helpful staff. First off though when ordering, the main large pictured menu items in person are actually HUGE. We both ordered 2 super items apiece not knowing lol. And they are about twice the price of the regular items, but now I know one would be filling & very tasty! I had the super chilada (soft tortilla filled with meat & beans covered in tons of cheese & a little sauce with a handful of black olives) oh my this was very tasty! I also had a taco lite... crispy flour tortilla filled to the brim with meat, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes & lettuce & very good also. They have complimentary mini soft drinks if don't want a lot of anything. Free is such a nice touch but I ordered a large this time, :) Patrons left the tables quite messy & floor but in between they popped out to clean if they were able to. I would & will go back.. may have to work out a ton but worth it. read more

Finally made it to Taco Casa for lunch yesterday. Gotta admit... pretty disappointed. TLDR: fast food level Mexican food, pretty decent service, prices pretty decent. I rolled through the drive thru right after 11am. I honestly had high hopes based on the rabid fan base I'd seen in other's comments. I ordered 2 tacos, a chilada and a chili burger, wanting to try a variety of things. Food was pretty quick in coming, as one would expect. The dude who brought it out to me was friendly enough, but he carried the sack with everything on end, which wasn't a big deal for the tacos and burger, but it turned the chilada into a little bit of a hot mess in the container. No real damage done, as the chilada was pretty much a hot mess anyway. Got back home in a few minutes (less than 5) and unbagged everything. Tacos and burger were in a paper boat with several packets of hot sauce. The chilada was in a covered container, and survived the inconsiderate delivery fairly well. If it's a fairly sauced dish, keep it flat. It's not rocket science. Braum's is horrible about this with their biscuits and gravy, but I digress..... The chilada was just okay. Not a lot of flavor, no real zing, nothing that would make me want another one. The tacos were fairly large, but uninspiring. The meat had little of no seasoning. They were maybe a half notch above Taco Bell at best. The chili burger was probably the best thing in the order, and I suspect that's because it was different. Same meat as the taco, it was decent enough once I sauced the dickens out of it. It was also pretty small, so unless you're a small eater (like a bird), one of them isn't gonna do it for you. Overall, the visit fell far, far short of the hype I'd seen. I was genuinely looking forward to Taco Casa opening and now I realize it's just yet another fast food Mexican place cluttering the Owasso food landscape. To be honest, I'll probably go back, but only because Taco Bueno sucks like a brand new Dyson and Taco Bell is farther away for me. read more

Taco Casa is decently priced & some of the items are pretty good. You enter and order your food at the counter & seat yourself. I saw staff delivering orders and also calling names to pick up food from counter once ready tonight. It was pretty busy tonight; definitely has a fast food establishment vibe. Cons of our experience: I will say a couple ingredients tasted straight out of a can & not the good kind. The nacho cheese sauce had zero heat & not great flavor. My 6 year old daughter said it tasted like mac and cheese without the pasta & only took a taste though she usually is always down for chips and queso. Their refried beans definitely tasted out of a can and literally were ice-cream scooped onto a bed of nachos...Something about that wasn't appetizing lol. The side of jalepanos had zero heat to come to my rescue with those nachos. Lol Ok onto the pros: Taco Casa's hot sauce is good; Perfect amount of heat & nice flavor though a bit hard to open. They did not skimp on the grated cheese! Their taco shells and tortilla chips had a good flavor and nice crunch; definitely the kind that might stand up against sogginess longer than other Mexican fast food chains. The ground beef was decent and not overly salty, best paired with their hot sauce. Overall, it was a decent dinner at a reasonable price but we were a bit disappointed. We would avoid both the nachos and queso if we ever end up there again. Tacos were probably the highlight of our meal. My husband said the super burrito was just ok. read more

Absolutely amazing. I can't say enough how excited I am there is one within driving distance. My favorite is bean burrito and they have guacamole and chips and the guacamole is huge. Service was super fast it's crazy but always is. Place looks clean and music is at a reasonable tune and not blaring like other places. read more

This place is declining quickly. The last taco I got had hardly any cheese and the orders are routinely wrong. It's turning into Taco Bueno.

After eating a taco I got severely sick. No more for me!! Not sure all the hype. It is pretty much a drive through.

Best fast food tacos around! Prices are fair. Service is meh. A little personality goes a long way.

We have eaten here 6 times or so and always good. Today we got our tacos and they had 1/3 of the meat as compared to previous ones. My husband was really ticked off and said we give it one more try and that's it. Please do not turn into Taco Bueno! read more

Food was great, service was quick. I have only gone through the drive through, but it was always quick and easy. Love having it in Owasso!
