Went to Catrina' Fresh Mex in Owasso the other day, looking for something different. Went with the Calaca Steak Fries. Servers were really friendly and the place was small, but really clean. The food was good, with everything well seasoned. I will confess, it missed the mark somewhat once the toppings were eaten and I was left with half a container of soggy, cold fries. That said, what I did eat was more than enough for lunch. Not sure how to solve the problem with so many fries compared to the toppings. It was good, but not sure I'd order it again. read more

Happy to have a Catrina Fresh Mex in Owasso. We dined in, but it's really more of a take-out kind of place. The menu is a bit overwhelming when you walk in (over 12 burritos PLUS the breakfast ones that are served all day). Plus there are bowl options, tortas, and tacos. I tried the California burrito. The steak was really good but there were more potatoes than steak. Not sure there were French fries in it (as an authentic one would have). The potato stuffing was more like hash browns. I would order it again though. Did I mention the burritos are HUGE? Definitely could split one. We also tried three street tacos (al pastor, steak and chicken). Very good as well. The side of rice (extra) was fluffy but needed a bit of salsa. Chips and salsa (also extra) were good. We tried the medium salsa (available in mild, medium, or hot). The medium was plenty spicy for us. The interior is fresh and clean and I LOVE the mural. We definitely will be trying this again. read more

Absolutely LOVED Catrina Fresh Mex here in Owasso! The service was amazing, everyone so nice & helpful. Love the painted mural on the wall..nice touch! But the food! I ordered the chorizo burrito.. and OMG yum! Had a large horchata to drink.. so good & not overly sweet like some can be. The churro... Great for take out and fast food for sure. Nabbed the steak burrito and it was massive! Prob should have cut it in half and had some for later but I was hungry and I totally regretted it after I got thru half of it. But it was decent. Steak was a bit more chopped up than I expected but w the guac and rice and pico on board I'm coming back. Only complaint is their queso is a bit runny but it's pretty tasty for runny queso. Chips were great too. Can't wait to come back and try something else. Service wasn't too horrible with how slammed they looked and the food was pretty quick to hit the table. Wow ! This place was excellent! So authentic-- everyone was super nice. It was clean too ! I had the Barria Tacos and hubby had carnitas street tacos. Fresh and so flavorful. If you're wanting burritos or tacos, this is the place to turn to. they have some of the best burritos at a very reasonable price. you could share those burritos between two if you're wanting. I've sat in only a few times but the workers are friendly and keep the place clean. It would be a 5 stars if only they didn't mess up my order so much, I've had to lie about allergies just to get them to not put that damn sour cream on my burrito. but I can just as easily scrape it off and go on with my day. I received a great Birria Taco and the Steak Quesadilla... But the steak nachos... Omg do not ever order it! It is dry On the Border brand chips with a small hand full of ground beef, regardless if you ordered steak. I didn't get cheese, guacamole. Or Pico. Just dry meat and chips. Huge burritos! Wow, and tasty too. I wish we had realized how big they are. We did have plenty of leftovers for next day lunch. I love the habanero salsa but many people will prefer medium or mild. Very good heat range. I very much appreciate the salsa bar having lime, cilantro, & onion. We will definitely not make our first visit our last. I never noticed this little gem inconspicuously hidden away in a spot not easily seen from the road. read more

Food was amazing! We ordered via DoorDash, price was reasonable & all of the ingredients tasted fresh & crisp! We were notified it was being made fresh & was delivered shortly after. Yummy homemade tortillas! We ordered the carne asada burrito, veggie burrito (no rice), kids cheese quesadilla & kids chicken fingers. The kids loved their battered French Fries & hubby loved the carne asada burrito (HUGE). Only wish we had more salsa packets but so glad we gave this place a try! The food was delicious and arrived very soon after ordering. I didn't care for the green salsa (mild). The medium red salsa was good but a little hot for my tastes. I'd love to have a red salsa available in the mild version. The carne asada burrito was very tasty and large enough to justify dividing into two portions. read more

Whoever owns this place of business, this review is for you. I called on Saturday at 9:10pm bc Yelp said you were open another 50 minutes. I was excited to try this place. I call to place an order for pickup - the staffer who answered the phone hollered to someone asking if they can still place an order for pickup. He kept saying yes or no to whoever. Then was told no I could not place an order for pickup. I asked what time they close. He said 10pm. I say, so you close at 10pm but I cannot place an order for pickup? He said no. I am floored by this. I will never darken the door of an establishment that refuses my business with 50 minutes still on the clock before you close. As the owner, hopefully you aren't aware of this practice and fix that asap. If you do, well my 1-star review will spread the word. read more

I am very pleased to have some inside Mexican fast-food on 96th street north in Owasso! They even have a salsa bar! I recommend this place! The Calaca Fries are amazing as are the Barria Torta! Will definitely be back! read more
