Her attention to service and warm personality made an excellent breakfast exceptional. A simple order of two plates of Huevos Rancheros for me and my wife. Very good mild and spicy salsa with chips got our appetites warmed up. The Huevos Rancheros were perfect. A couple of fried eggs on corn tortillas covered with freshly made ranchero sauce. A little queso fresco sprinkled on top. Perfect delicious. The rice and beans were outstanding. Oh damn, this was good and authentic, authentic, authentic. A salsa verde is available. That will be next time. I have had good huevos rancheros in Tulsa. Picking the best of them is difficult now. This is the same Los Primos that operated on 11th near Garnett a few years ago. This is very good. The food is all legit Mexican food. It isn't American version of what a lot of Mexican restaurants serve. It is very good. And the servers are very kind and helpful too. The Mexican music playing inside is kinda great too. It's fun to be in here for a Mexican vibe. read more

I went to Los Primos today. Very, very disappointing. Old black cilantro, steak pieces on tacos were 1/2 what they to be. They charge for refills. I ordered supreme nachos to go for my daughter. They were awful. Burnt cheese and chips, chicken pieces were so small you could see it. Chips were soft like they made ahead of time or it sat before they gave it to me so they were steamed chips. Ucky tasted like cardboard. It use to be a nice place. We were going because everything was freshly made. Not anymore...terrible go some place else. Save yourself from getting stomach and diarehhra. Authentic food and very flavorful!! Flour tortilla was homemade carne asada was tender and guacamole was fresh made. Small interior but got a table soon as I arrived. Clean and everyone wearing masks!! Chips and salsa complimentary with a spicy salsa! The salsa was on point that's usually a good sign about the food! The first time I came here I judged this place so hard based on appearances. When I went inside the people were friendly and the servers were nice. I ordered tacos (carne asada) and my bf told me to try the carnitas which I never thought I would like because it's pork. Usually carnitas are really dry but here at los primos they made it so tasty and juicy! Best carnita tacos I've had, I like the salsa they have as well. Everything tasted great. My bf ordered the caldo de 7 Mares which was like a huge bowl of soup filled with every type of seafood possible. Great experience, I'm always going back. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Best Mexican food I've had in years! I had the Spicy Steak Ranchero and a cold beer - just what I wanted. The tortillas are made in house and came to the table too hot to touch. Served with rice and refried beans. The meat was tender and perfectly spiced. The service was fast and friendly. It's not much to look at from the street, but inside was clean, if small. Oh we get this food at work, it's like our special treat!!! First the guacamole is excellent, fresh, few ingredients, and authentic tasting. We also got the cheese dip today and it was very fresh and creamy. You can buy a giant guacamole for $12 and it is TOTALLY WORTH IT. I have been eating here for years. I was skeptical at first but once I tried the taco sauce, I was in love! Everything I have tried has been good, but I usually get tacos or a burrito. My wife loves their roasted chicken and the kids say they even have good burgers. Warning: The drive thru can be extremely slow. We usually order this restaurant to go at least two nights a week. We love their tacos.Tonight was a huge disappointment. Waited 35 minutes on a call in order called in 20 minutes prior to arrival for a Tuesday night. They weren't busy. Even upon request of 4 verde salsas with An order of 8 tacos we were given 1 red sauce and 1 lime to share. The meat portions in the tacos were minimal and equivalent to ordering 3 of the usual portioned tacos they serve. Tacos are now 2.00 each. Also, Husband noticed a 2.00 up charge from 7.99 to 9.99 for 3 enchiladas rice and beans. Portion sizes again, downsized to small. Tonight, we've decided to hit up a different restaurant for the two nights a week we have limited time to cook as their prices are only up by 50 cents and portions are the same. read more

Oh my goodness, this place from the outside looks like you would not want to stop to eat but hold on because this place is the bomb! Inside it is larger that what it appears from the outside, very simple decor with 2 tv's. They make everything from scratch and it is authentic Mexican food, plus they do offer a couple of things like a burger and kids meals as well. The staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. They do have a drive thru, but you need to call ahead and then pick it up as everything is cooked to order, which is usually a 15 minute wait. Between my husband and I we have tried almost everything on the menu and was never disappointed. All types of people eat here from construction workers on lunch breaks to couples dressing up for a great meal so wear what you want and you will not feel out of place. read more

Ok, all I eat at Los Primos is burritos. I had tacos once and they were fine but the burritos are phenomenal. Shredded steak, chicken or pork, thick and meaty, perfectly spiced, flour tortilla is slightly crispy. It comes with a red sauce on the side. Pick it up, start on one end and pour a bit of sauce in with each bite. The Serrano peppers are hot, they'll ask if you want them. I guess it's authentic, it's not tex mex. I gave it four stars because I haven't eaten other dishes there so I don't know if everything is as good as the burritos. read more
