Employees are always on it and friendly! The prices are not bad a hair high for the amount you get and they say they charge for refills but a couple times I been there to get it they do not so I am glad. The building is very small but has seating on the outside which is nice if it's not the high end of the summer ha! The chips are homemade and are the best. They even have outdoor seating. The prices were exceptional from what I saw on the menu. Wife and I found this place online and had it delivered. WOW! I'm from Texas and have missed authentic Mexican food since moving up to Oklahoma a few years ago. This place scratches that itch with awesome, authentic Mexican cuisine. It's at a very affordable price as well. If you forced me to nitpick, the queso, while very tasty, was extremely thick, but could have just been the batch that day. Hot sauces were legit! I began frequenting El Super Taco about a year ago. To say that it is the super taco would be the understatement of the decade, maybe even century. If I could change one thing about the name, it would be to rename it, El Supreme Taco, lord of all tacos, and giver of flavor. All the taco options and menu offerings that I have had the pleasure of experiencing have gone above and beyond any sort of expectation I could have formed in my head. After frequenting the spot and continuously ordering different variations of the taco plates, I decided it was time for me to truly ascend. And ascend I did... I ordered the Al Pastor Super Burrito, and my life hasn't been the same since. The Al Pastor is tender and flavorful. It's as if it was marinated and slow cooked by god himself. There has been nothing quite like its delicate balance of flavor dancing around the tastebuds on my tongue that I have experienced in my life. When the symphony of flavor that was the Al Pastor began its recital in the concert hall that is my mouth, it was as if angels were singing it's praising from the VERY GATES OF HEAVEN ABOVE!! The rice, beans, guacamole, and pico de Gallo are all masterfully prepared and delicately distributed to ensure the maximum amount of flavor can be experienced in every bite. El Super Taco has not only earned a special place in my mouth, but a special place in my heart as well. Foam plates, plastic tableware, paper cups all confirm that El Super Taco is built around the lunch takeout trade. I ordered carnitas; were tender and crispy if bland. The pork came with sides of rice and refried beans, both clearly made in-house but lacking any spark or character that would set them apart. Flour tortillas were storebought. Mediocre guacamole. The house salsa deserves special mention. Fantastic stuff, loaded with pepper flavor. Definitely the high point of the menu, and good enough to pull this up to three stars. read more

What has happened to this place? We haven't eaten there in a couple of months. It used to be so good. It was terrible. We drive 18 miles round trip to pick up and eat at home. We ordered 8 tacos. There was half the meat, a bunch of lettuce to replace the meat that normally is on it, and no cheese on four tacos, and very little cheese on the other four. We were still hungry and ended up going to the Taco truck for a proper taco dinner. It is sad to see this place failing when they used to be so good. read more

I have been a patron of the restaurant for years, and have thought it to be one of the best in town. However I've noticed a trend lately pointing in the opposite direction. The food we ordered last night was just not of the previous standards. In fact it was terrible. I asked for hot sauce for both entrees and did not receive it, the food was thrown in the trash, as it as all had a strange taste to it, like it's going bad! For Cinco De Mayo I wanted Authentic, I searched high and low and was told about this hidden gem. This particular eatery is outside of where the other traditional taco shops are found but that is what makes this a little bit more of a "well kept" secret. We had the following: Nachos (Tex-Mex) but with a authentic touch. Very good and I am not a huge nachos fan. 5 Small Street Tacos- 5 different meats. Chicken, 2 types of Beef, Pork, and tongue. Yes, tongue. This taco was hands down the best of the best and the very reason I came to this location. The Burrito Supreme- Loaded with steak, beans, guac, and rice, this would be a good choice for the traditional Tex-Mex fan or a picky eater. Homemade Salsa Verde: Very good, not the best I have ever had but points for being fresh and flavorful. Homemade Red Traditional Salsa: Not a chuncky salsa like pico but a smooth salsa with a bite. Once again very good but not the best I have had. It does not have to be the best to be good and fresh. A must for a taco shop is Horchata!This meal was enjoyed with Horchata. The Horchata here was very sweet and came in a giant cup, literally so much the 3 of us could not finish it. Sweet and milky to help with the spices found in the food. I saw one review that stated this place was not that good because they only put cilantro and onions on the tacos. That is the beauty of this place, the simplicity. I have spent a lot of money here (I'd guess I've eaten 40 of their burritos). Hardly ever been disappointed. I wish they served their breakfast burritos all day, but unfortunately they do not. I usually go for an al pastor (shaved rotisserie pork I think) burrito, but carne asada is good, and the beef enchiladas are good. This is the kind of place you can swing by and pickup something for dinner when neither of you feels like cooking and you don't want to spend a lot of money. Usually, my favorite type of salsa is chunky with lots of chunky tomatoes and onions. This one is only smooth - but totally makes up for it in taste. It's still nice and thick so it clings to your chips well. I have no idea what they put in it - it's unique - but Great! I've ordered a side of chips and salsa every time I've been there. Speaking of chips - they fry them up fresh to order. They're still sizzling hot when I get them home -- a very nice touch. I've only had the tacos and thought they were very good basic tacos. Food is good but they seem to be very lax at 9am. I ordered 2 things, paid, then they tell the cashier that they don't have chorizo or bacon. He looks at me like, "well? Now what?" They have minimal food in the morning. Last time I came they overloaded the onions on my 5 tacos. I smelled horrible the rest of the day. Be patient with them. Went there specifically for carne asada fries and it was delicious. The restaurant is small so I usually get my food to go. Not a fan of the fish tacos. Didn't realize the fish was gonna be fried.
