The food is GREAT!! And you get a lot for your money!! It's definitely worth it. The Asada Fries are my absolute favorite!!! Service is always friendly and there's an outdoor seating area also. I had no idea there was a drive thru that wraps around the little restaurant so I ordered through the drive thru since it was a rainy day. Food served hot and delicious. Oh, I forgot to mention they have the BEST SALSA!!! And brought it to me with hot tortilla chips Mmmmm!!!

The workers here are very nice and offer amazing service! I split the nachos, with my partner, which were perfect size for two. It came with beef, shredded cheese, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. The chips are homemade and are the best. They even have outdoor seating. The prices were exceptional from what I saw on the menu. Take it from me, a San Antonian who grew up on Mexican food, it's worth the visit! The best Mexican restaurant in Tulsa!

Super good food. The breakfast burritos are the bomb and so are their street tacos. The Carne Asada Fries are my new favorite.

Carnitas and enchiladas with chips.

There's a parking lot in this plaza, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. They offered complementary chips and dips (salsa and queso). We ordered additional guac. The chorizo queso is sooooo good! I ordered the birria taco plate and I'd say this is very authentic compared to food back home (California)! They were generous with the birria and the consome is chefs kiss!!! The staff did a wonderful job in assuring our needs were met and that we were satisfied. I hope this place is just renovating and hopefully will reopen in the foreseeable future. I would love to see this place continue to thrive!

Doing four stars for the food. I would do 3.5 for staff. :(…read more I loved the salsa (fresh and spicy) and the complementary queso like dip. I loved the shredded beef enchilada! Really good and would order again. Rice and beans were probably above average. My dining partner asked how the chile relleno was prepared. (He doesn't like the eggy batter.) We were literally told that it came premade and frozen and was "just fried." Obviously, he ordered the street tacos instead. We sat at the bar and it took a bit to get waited on but the manager jumped in and gave us water and silverware. I liked my Blackberry-Rosemary Marg but I honestly didn't feel like it had much tequila in it. The regular marg was just OK. Since it is a tequila bar and we sat at the bar, I would have liked to have discussed tequilas but my bad for not asking. Would have loved to have done a tasting. The menu was informative. I would go back when in south Tulsa. Not sure I would make it a destination. (Well, maybe. Those enchiladas were good! It is a cute place.

Advertised as "Authentically Modern Santa Fe Cuisine." Calling it New Mexican food might cause confusion. A diner could infer "New Mexican" as a reference to modern Mexican food or possibly Mexican fusion. Indeed, La Tertulia plates food that is very similar to what I have had in Santa Fe and Taos. The famous Hatch Chilis heavily influences the cuisine. The two hues of the capsicum laced fruits, also create the age-old argument over red vs. green sauce. For me, huevos rancheros, Christmas style (red and green sauce), hold the rice. My wife had the stacked enchiladas with chicken, Christmas style, also hold the rice. Both the green and red sauces were delicious. Filling, tasty plates of food. The green sauce was the spiciest. Check the pictures. The service was excellent. I love their spicy fiery salsa that is served with the chips. I sucked down the small sample in just a few minutes. It was promptly replaced with two more big bowls. Kenzie's name was on the receipt. If you are a fan of any version of spicy Mexican food, served on "don't touch," third degree burn blistering hot plates, you will love this place. A savvy connoisseur of New Mexico fare, would be pleased with the food as well.

Yes I had some of hers. Awesome! Salsa was good and spicy! Good portions at a good price. Also had a michelada which was large and very good. Service was excellent! The v3gan options are almost nonexistent. The refried beans have lard, rice has chicken stock, but…read morethe black beans are v3gan. The option, as reported to me by two staff, was veggie tacos and two sides of black beans. The sautéed veggies were fine. The black beans were fine. The tortillas were the best part of the meal. I forgot to ask if the tortillas were v3gan and this place doesn't seem one to volunteer that information. I mean it took two folks to figure out the ingredients to their own food. When asking about specific items one of the staff helpfully pointed out that the chicken was gluten free. The service was polite but they were not easy work with for v3gan info and they certainly weren't interred in volunteering any information or working with me to make something interesting. I was here with a group and it's too bad this spot isn't more accommodating for v3gans. I will have to have all future meetups planned here switched to any of the other places with better v3gan options.
