Carne asada fries

If I can give this a 100 star i would give!!!! This is the best Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma ! Their portion is a lot and the taste is there too. I always go here and never have issues with my order . Love it!

Carne Asada Burrito extra cheese, extra sour cream around $9-$11. We wanted the California taco shop experience and WE GOT IT! Best part of this experience was the taste and the customer service, very friendly! Tortillas were soft and chewy just like California. Excellent salsa, spicy carrots were dry. We were a party of five orders and our food did NOT come out back to back. Other peoples order were served before ours. The chef messed up on some orders and had to remake them. Overall if you're passing through or tired of Texmex food. I'd recommend! Just have patience.

I scrutinized the menu descriptions and the picture details. There was only one item that I could spot, different than any other OkieMex or Authentic Mexican restaurant offering in Oklahoma. That item was the "Flying Saucer." Essentially a taco salad served on a flat fried flour tortilla. As it turned out they don't serve it that way any way. So, I can't pick out anything that might make Los Victor's Mexican Food, California style. And that's a good thing. I had that Flying Saucer with asada and my wife had the sopes with asada. The flying saucer was taco salad served in a fried flour tortilla bowl, not like the picture on the menu. The taco salad and sopes were loaded with the asada. Excellent asada. Both meals were filling and good. (Check the pictures) Beans and rice were average. The meals are delivered to your table on foam plates. Which means no hot plates. Yeah, I know it is fast food, but still a disappointment. The chips were fresh and the dark Arbol salsa is super. On the menu the chips are listed as $7.25. Which is outrageous, when they are gratis at most any Mexican restaurant. That charge may only be for to go orders. We weren't charged for them. Maybe if you dine in, they are free. You are going to want them though, for the salsa. The service is minimal. The food is decent, but you must get it to go. And that's too bad because Los Victor's has a little fresh salsa bar you will miss out on. Trust me though, don't dine in the restaurant just yet. Why? When we walked in, we were greeted with a really unpleasant odor. An attempt was being made to disguise the odor with the unmistakable smell of a Mexican restaurant's favorite cleaning product. It caused me to pause for a second and make the decision of whether or not to eat there. The best description that I can come up with for the smell is a bean, hard boiled egg, beer fart mixed with Fabuloso. As we were eating an employee decided to mop the floor with you know what .... The Fabuloso vapors were now overpowering the taste of the food. Fortunately, we were about done. The odor made for a bad dining experience. I hope it gets better. The food is 4-star/average. Get it to go and ask for the chili Arbol salsa.

Amazing packed with flavor crazy burrito

This the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had in the 19 years I had on this earth it's so homey and warm I don't understand how this place isn't packed 24/7 please come come give this place a try and bring family you will not regret it I promise you that 10/10 burritos bigger than my arm it's crazy

This is only half of the burrito! We may have gobbled the other half before the pic was taken. :) super yummy!

Food was amazing and service was incredible! The owners were there working hard to get the food made and to the table quickly. Portions were huge and very affordable. We are vegan so they graciously made us burritos with beans, rice and potatoes! They were huge. The food came out piping hot. They offer a small salsa bar that was clean and well stocked. This restaurant is in the old long John silvers building in BA, but they've worked so hard to make it aesthetically pleasing despite being such an old building. It is definitely worth giving a try!

Those are guacamole, birria tacos and street tacos. When we received the chips and salsa, I noticed the salsa lacked some cilantro, but had a unique flavor, different from our other favorite Mexican food establishments. My wife was really fond of it, but said it was ok. I really liked it, even if it lacked cilantro. The guacamole came out and it looked like my guac that make at home. It was very good, didn't need any additional salt and was not overpowering in lime. I'd give it 10/10. My wife ordered the chicken street tacos. She said they were the best out of all the places we go. The chicken was flavorful and the tortillas didn't fall apart. It came with a tomatillo crema that was infused with jalapeños and was too spicy for her. I got the Birria tacos and they were especially good with the crema. The birria consumé was excellent. The rice was fluffy and tender and the refried beans were on point. They serve Coke products which includes Coke Zero and they were quick with the refills. We will definitely put this place as #2 on our list of go-to Mexican cuisine establishments. They are located in the Rose District, so the prices will be slightly higher, but it's still worth the visit.

There's a parking lot in this plaza, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. They offered complementary chips and dips (salsa and queso). We ordered additional guac. The chorizo queso is sooooo good! I ordered the birria taco plate and I'd say this is very authentic compared to food back home (California)! They were generous with the birria and the consome is chefs kiss!!! The staff did a wonderful job in assuring our needs were met and that we were satisfied. I hope this place is just renovating and hopefully will reopen in the foreseeable future. I would love to see this place continue to thrive!

Really good and would order again. Rice and beans were probably above average. My dining partner asked how the chile relleno was prepared. (He doesn't like the eggy batter.) We were literally told that it came premade and frozen and was "just fried." Obviously, he ordered the street tacos instead. We sat at the bar and it took a bit to get waited on but the manager jumped in and gave us water and silverware. I liked my Blackberry-Rosemary Marg but I honestly didn't feel like it had much tequila in it. The regular marg was just OK. Since it is a tequila bar and we sat at the bar, I would have liked to have discussed tequilas but my bad for not asking. Would have loved to have done a tasting. The menu was informative. I would go back when in south Tulsa. Not sure I would make it a destination. (Well, maybe. Those enchiladas were good! It is a cute place.

We arrived around 6:45pm for the 7pm bingo, only to find out it wasn't being held on the patio as advertised. That was fine--it was hot out anyway. We were shown to a small indoor section and luckily grabbed the last high-top table. Service was very slow. We waited a while before anyone came by, and it took 40 minutes to get my margarita. Our food actually came out before our drinks. I ordered a skinny margarita but got something syrupy and full of sweet & sour mix instead. Tried to switch to wine, but surprise--they don't serve wine. At a full bar. Odd. The food was just okay at best. * "Cilantro lime" rice had corn and no trace of cilantro or lime. Not good. * Black beans with pico--bland. * Cheese enchilada--fine, but forgettable. * Queso tasted like El Chico (nostalgic, but not in a good way). * Salsa had zero spice. Our server was rarely around, and when we were ready to pay, we actually had to get up and ask the manager at the host stand to bring us our check. Not a great ending to the meal. Bingo was... fine. It moved fast but had long breaks in between rounds. We played five games and didn't win. Prizes were $10 gift cards--not bad, but not enough to bring us back.

As a young lady walked by our table, I asked for the hot stuff. She quickly returned with a generous bowl and a warning about its effectiveness. My wife chimed in with "don't worry, he can handle it." The friendly young lady was Christina the owner. I talked with her before we left the restaurant. I was curious about the restaurant's history. It used to be out on Highway 51 towards Coweta, then several years ago, they relocated to Tiger Plaza on Kenosha. Her and her husband bought the restaurant recently. She explained that even though they retained the name and menu they are in no way related to the other Los Mariachis Mexican Restaurant operating in Jenks. She emphasized that. The restaurant has a burrito they call the Burrito El Bravo. It is filled with grilled beef, homemade chorizo, refried beans, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo. The pico de gallo was made with fresh chopped jalapenos, lots of jalapenos. The overstuffed burrito was then covered with queso. Fresh cut crunchy potato chips came with the meal. The house made zesty chorizo stood out to make the burrito the most flavorful, spicy, meat filled tortilla I have had. A stimulating savory combination, but not so hot that it was difficult to eat. It didn't need any additional salsa though. You want some delicious meaty, spicy Mexican food, order this burrito! My wife had the "Build Your Own Lunch." Her selection was a ground beef taco and enchilada. The enchilada was covered with green sauce, beans and rice on the side. She enjoyed great meal. Good food and friendly service from Christina and her staff. Drop by and eat a burrito! The heartburn is worth it!
