In order to get past this review of Five Guys, you have to be able to pass one question. Are you willing to spend $30 for a one person meal at a fast food place? Five Guys is the most expensive fast food burger joint. A bacon cheeseburger is $13.89, a regular fries $7.29, a regular fountain drink $3.39. Then there's an optional tip that I am always pressured to give. So if you want a full meal (burger, fries, drink, optional tip), $30 is that outrageous cost. The best feature is all toppings for your burgers are free and you could customize it however you want to. I added lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and grilled mushrooms to my bacon cheeseburger and it tasted great. So this feature could justify the higher price but not the fries or drink. The fries at Five Guys were just okay. On this visit, there were 3 workers behind the counter and one worker in the lobby area. I can't say that they were short staffed but they were hiring starting pay $14/hour. read more

Came here to try the food for the first time as it always seemed expensive. They were doing an online BOGO burger deal so I thought what a great opportunity to finally try Five Guys! Or so I thought....I will NEVER eat here again. I ordered ahead for me and someone else before arriving. We arrived 10-15 minutes after ordering. First of all we were not greeted when we walked in, it was immediately "Do you have a pickup order?" Ok...Yes. Told the lady my name and she said they were still working on it and another worker chimed in and said the same. Okay, no problem they seemed behind and busy. So I sit down to wait...and wait...as people who started coming in after me were receiving their orders 15 mins later! So total 30 minutes waiting. Odd, so I go to the pickup counter to check on the order and I am COMPLETELY Ignored. In fact someone walked in through the door behind me and was greeted by a worker and asked if they had a pickup order. Excuse me?? Finally the woman that told me they were working on it asked my name again for the pickup order, she proceeds to reach to a high counter with bags that have been sitting there since I walked in and handed me one of those bags. Fries were incredibly cold, she hurried off to help the kitchen after I said are you kidding me? I was so pissed, I went to sit down to eat and some gross bug ran across our table! DISGUSTING. They were not cleaning tables, it was extremely dirty in there, their soda machines were covered in splattered juices and soda, their condiment area was covered in spilled ketchup. I am very disappointed and pissed off about my experience here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They need to completely replace their staff here. read more

Got the double bacon cheeseburger and it was great. Fries were meh. Price was horrible tho. For "fast food" $30 for a meal is stupid. Red Robin is every bit as good but cheaper. Ambiance was stale. Peanuts for free did not make up for the cost at all. read more

I will speak to 5 Guys in general (I have been to a ton throughout the US) first. I like 5 Guys a LOT. It's a tad pricey no doubt, but I attribute it to being similar to In N Out in so much as you get quality ingredients and I never feel like I regret any sort of culmination of life choices as an adult due to feeling cruddy after gobbling down a massive pile of fries and a double bacon cheeseburger. Gosh that's a mouthful! So, this location in Broken Arrow is one of two in the Tulsa metro. I am glad we have them here! It wasn't that long ago we didn't have any of these to grace us in NE Oklahoma. This is pretty much like any other 5 Guys I've been to. 1.) Service was fast and friendly 2.) Food came out exactly as I had ordered it 3.) Food was delicious 4.) I at all my food and felt good about my life choices. Overall the place is clean, there is a massive pile of fresh potatoes in bags with labels telling you where they came from, and a small note card with crayons I could draw on and put on a bulletin board. Overall I was very happy with my meal and so was my wife, who just tried 5 Guys for the first time with me on this trip and stated she would totally be back! read more

The food here is great, but the service is hit or miss. First visit - they were efficient and fast, but they also had a full staff. Last visit they were slow, like ridiculously slow. I know they make your food to order, but the workers in the kitchen looked like they were on a break rather than assembling burgers. One girl came in and she was basically running the entire kitchen by herself while the other 2 cooks stood around telling her what to do. Thankfully their food is really good! A cheeseburger is 2 patties, and a little cheeseburger is one patty - remember this! You can get the burgers without cheese, but the way that they wrap the burger in foil while it's still warm (thus melting your cheese into a gooey mess) is all part of the experience. Add as many toppings and sauces as you like without a ridiculous upcharge; the sky is the limit! You can even order your burger without a bun, but that can get messy. They have outside seating, which may be better than inside seating if there's a breeze. The windows have no shade so if you sit by the window it can get hot! The birds that frequent the parking lot are hilarious, so if it's nice out I would opt for outside seating. The french fry servings at this location are definitely not as overflowing as the Riverside location, meaning they don't fill up your fry cup then add an additional scoop into the fry bag. read more

We used to love this place. I looked forward to going here as much as possible, but in the past year we have noticed some things have really changed. The cheeseburgers are not hot anymore. In fact, they always come out so cold the cheese is never melted. There is nothing worse than cold food that is supposed to be served hot. Another thing that seems to be lacking here is seasoning on the hamburgers. The beef itself seems to be good quality, but there is a sever lack of flavor. On top of all this they have raised their prices which are really outrageous at this point to pay that much money for a burger you need to take home, microwave and season yourself. Im so glad we have a five guys in Broken Arrow. I fell in love with this place in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm anxious to see if this one is as good. Walk in around boxes of peanuts and stacks of potatoes, which are lined around the room and will soon be the best fries on the planet! Menu is burgers, hot dogs and fries. The small burgers are big enough for most folks. I could only eat half, as it was. I filled up on French fries with malt vinegar. Yum! Burger was great. There are lots of topping choices including jalapeño peppers and grilled mushrooms to name a few. Roll was soft and fresh. I'm happy! read more

After walking in and looking at the prices, I had to do a double take and make sure I didn't accidentally wonder into a theme park. The Cheeseburger and shake was definitely good, but so is Lobster and fillet mignon. Total of $13.96 was just too high for a burger and shake. read more

They have raised their prices tremendously. I used to visit them all the time, but after some research I found the same burger at Five Guys in KY cost $3 less and in NYC and Los Angeles $1.50 less. I'm not about to pay over $9 for a burger I can get in a sit down restaurant with Fries and Drink included and have someone wait on me for the same price. I advise everyone to stay away from five guys in Oklahoma (from what I could see, same prices across the state) until they lower their prices. It takes a bunch of guys to be passionate about food to make the best burgers money can buy. That having been said, these guys redefine passion when they cook each burger to order. The burgers are always amazing, and you can always tell they use all fresh ingredients. The fries are always plentiful... So plentiful, they can never fit a full order into their little cups, so be expected to get a lot of fries floating at the bottom of the bag. The building at American fork is quite small from the outside, so if you blink, you might miss it. Do not let the size of the building their you off. There's an entire burger universe to experience inside, and the staff here are amazing at what they do best, which is provide the public with great customer service and their passion for making great food definitely shows when you take that first bite. I don't generally write reviews. I have been eating at this Five Guys pretty often the past year. The workers here are hands down the nicest workers in a service job I have ever encountered. Not only is the manager incredibly warm and welcoming to customers, but everyone who works there has the same warmth and kindness. In this past year the only mistake I have had with an order was a missing tomato, and that's it. They are always fast for the quality of burger, which I believe is the best fast burger you can get. read more

It was my first time at this place and I did like it quite a bit. The burger was juicy and it reminded me a little of Fatburger. The fries were crisp and delicious and they give you peanuts while you wait. Teenagers running the show the evening I visited and I ordered a regular cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Simple right? Wrong! After waiting 20 minutes with my party, lo and behold, I received a mayo only burger. I took it back to the counter with the correctly and clearly printed receipt of the order and talked with the teenage assistant manager, he looked at me and stated in a tone of disgust with me, "Everyone makes mistakes. I can give you a slice of cheese and the vegetables or you can wait 15 minutes for a replacement". I asked him if they would replace the fries because they would be lukewarm by the time my remade burger was ready, he stated "no!". In shock, I asked for a refund and he told me I would have to wait 30 minutes until the manager returned because he wasn't authorized to issue refunds. At that point, I became frustrated and upset. I asked how could the assistant manager not be authorized to handle menial tasks like refunds. He didn't like that question and with a crowded restaurant now viewing, he walked straight to the register, and electronically refunded my order. I left and have never been back. My experience over the past few years of teenagers getting orders wrong has escalated tremendously. Either many of these new generation teens don't care about doing a good job or our educational system and parents are failing. How could you omit the cheese, lettuce, onions and tomatoes on a type written order receipt and package a mayo only burger? On top of that, how could the asst. manager be angry at me for bringing it to his attention and requesting a corrected order? My conclusion: They were laughing it up and horse playing the entire time we were waiting in line and waiting which caused them to not be focused when preparing the orders. read more

Five guys walk into a Starbucks. They stare at the overpriced coffee, expensive bagels and say we can do this; but with burgers. It's an OK $5 burger, but with a $10 price tag. They had a banner saying that in the Bangor Maine Daily in 2011 they had won the coveted best fries in town. Bad part of that is, it tastes like they were using the same grease in 2015. The crispies from the grill were. a Bonus. Still got a couple stuck in my teeth. I would eat here again, but that's only if I win the lottery and can throw away money. read more

Happy to see Five Guys finally made it to our area. Ate at a few of these in Houston and Dallas and always enjoyed it. A classic, unapologetic greasy burger with unparalleled thick fresh cut fries. They had a great vegi option for the wife and a perfect grilled cheese on Texas toast for the little one. It's always a treat to snack on peanuts while you wait as well. The food was phenomenal as always and the guys behind the grill were great,however when we came in two girls on I'm guessing their lunch break weren't even ordering food but just standing at the counter gossiping and after a few minutes moved so we could order, then while we were sitting down eating one of the girls was beyond rude to the guys behind the counter telling them about how they messed up fries or something of that nature but I'm guessing she was management which is how she got away with being so nasty to the guys busting their butts to make sure everyone coming in was getting excellent service. Great place to eat but as for the environment I hope someone sees this and the woman gets fired or at least some kind of meeting. Tried Five Guys for the first time today at lunch, there were only a few options so obviously I had a cheeseburger. Although it was good, I have had better at other establishments. The price for a cheeseburger and small fries was $12.23 with tax which seemed rather high for the quality. The other issue was the constant yelling from the employees at the centralized kitchen...this maybe some sort of theme they are inclined to do but it was super annoying and loud.
