We were excited to try their hotdogs as recommended by a family member. We went Sunday evening, the store was very bare, only one pair of customers, having the order counter in the very back was strange. We ordered a few basic hotdogs, tamale, and a bowl of chili to go cuz we wanted to watch football at home. I thought hot dogs were plain with just onions and cheese. So I ordered a bowl of chili. Wrong! They come with chili. Hotdogs were tiny like pinky fingers and didn't taste like beef or pork. Chili was SPICY with thick layer of grease! It was so spicy that made me cough and gag, even though I love spicy food. Tamale was tiny also that I have never seen that tiny tamale that was swimming in chili in a paper cup. Having been a long-time resident of BA and never trying this location, I decided to stop in and grab a couple of coneys, and I will never be back. 4 employees were cutting up behind the counter, and when I asked where I was supposed to order, one guy rudely said, "He'll be right with you." I looked at the menu for a moment, and no one ever got with me. I was completely ignored, so I left. I will drive 20 minutes to the Tulsa location next time I'm feeling a coney, or just run down to Sonic. read more

It's a Coney I-lander, so you kinda know what you're getting into when you walk in. This location seems to be a birthday destination for our extended group, given it's in Broken Arrow. The times we've been in the place has been mildly busy with plenty of staff, but for some reason the place always seems dirty. Floors never really seem clean and the prep line looks like no one is bothering to wipe anything down between customers. Food has always been consistent with other CIL's in the area, so no complaints there. Again, it's a Coney-I-Lander, so there's a pretty consistent baseline to expect. read more

The Tulsa metro has a TON of Coney I-Lander locations and this is one we get to enjoy in Broken Arrow. Upon entering to dine I was surprised at how clean this one was. Often times at a coney spot there is a 'welcoming' coat of grease on every surface you can see and a shine to match. Where the interior is basic, as it should be, it was CLEAN! The menu is limited also, as it should be which makes ordering simple. I always go with a cheese coney with onions and jalapenos. I also like a tamale with chile on the side too, because why not right? Overall very friendly service with a team of smiling faces behind the counter. Where I'm not a huge coney fan, if I get a hankering for one while in BA, I'll be coming back here. read more

All reviews are correct! Love it or hate it, it's a chili dog. If you want to feel amazing, eat a light lunch, have a light salad with some bubbly water. If you want to go into a food coma and sleep it off for and few hours in your bed binge watching Netflix....just order 8 or 9 of these with everything on them. Last time I went here there was a miscommunication or hiccup in the assembly line . Be it my stutter when ordering or a lack of quality control and inspection before receiving my order, my dogs were cheese-less. No matter what happens I'm convinced I'll never stop eating here, it's a guilty pleasure, maybe a few degrees above Taco Bell but I don't care. Coneys are a gift from God. read more

I LOOOOOOVVVEEE Coney I-Lander! Always have, always will. The menu is simple, the restaurant itself looks like its stuck in a time warp, but this is the taste i've known my whole life. Great steamed buns that are always soft, hot dogs grilled on a flat top right in front of you, and simple but great toppings. This place doesn't need fancy gimics or a buffet of toppings to get you in the door. They're cheap....I mean they're small so they should be cheap, but they're a great value especially if you have a coupon. read more

I don't know how anyone can say that this place serves great hot dogs. The hot dogs suck and the chili sucks. That's the end of the menu. Oh yea. You can get chips and a soda also. It looks like anyone can get a Coney Island Hot Dog franchise for under $500. It can't cost much more then that to open up one of these places. There's nothing on the menu and the place is as bare as can be. They don't even serve ketchup or relish. What's a hot dog without ketchup and relish? I believe the little tiny hot dogs they sell are turkey dogs. They definitely aren't beef. They say the chili comes from an old family recipe but it tastes like it's straight out of a can. I heard that this place had a good corn dog so I decided to give it a try. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 4 regular corn dogs. The Clerk repeated the order of 4 corn dogs. When I got back home, I opened the bag and to my surprise I found 4 hotdogs with Chili and onions! When did corn dogs become hot dogsI You would of thought that the clerk would have said "that we do not have corn dogs. Did you mean hot dogs?" It had been years since I had been back to the Tulsa area. One of my fond memories was eating at Coney Island. Or was it Coney I-Lander? Stayed not too far away from this place and most everything was already closed so we decided to take a trip down memory lane. Arrived just before closing and noticed the options weren't quite like I had remembered. There were not multiple ingredients out to put on your dogs...maybe because it was close to closing. Nope. Dog with onions and chili or dog with cheese onion and chili. I opted for two with cheese and a tamale with cheese and chili. The best thing I can say about this place is that it's about as quality as Taco Bell...but with hot dogs. They weren't bad, just not like I remembered. I've been going to this location off and not for many of years. My most recent visit was on 3-12-2017. They redesigned the inside giving the dining room and updated look, Which looks good ( I sort of missed the older look because it reminds me of my childhood visits for coneys). The food has always been consistent and good. The staff has always been friendly. Simply put, this is my favorite place to get a chili-cheese coney. Basically just small coneys with mustard, onions, chili and cheese. They put the buns in a steamer, so they are extra chewy. I went to get some coneys yesterday and once I got them I parked out front cause I had some errands to run afterwards and I took a bite and saw at the end a hair was sticking out, it wasn't a small puny one it was a longgg black hair. My wife and I decided to stop here to eat, and we regret every second of it. The food is always good and it was, but there was a hiccup. The fountain machine was down and that's not a problem for us, but there was an elder veteran in front of us who hadn't seen the sign that said it was down. One of the nicer staff members said that she could make his pop down at the end by the register. However, the one guy working the drive thru said "there's a sign right in front of him". That shook my wife and I to the core. It's so unprofessional and if that's what this establishment stands for, then I don't ever want to eat here again and I recommend everyone to go somewhere else. The best a Coney Hot Dogs EVER! The chili was spiced just right and the dogs were cooked perfectly. The buns were steamed and put together was a symphony in my mouth. The price of the dogs were under $2 each so I had 3 plus a drink. The atmosphere was a little divey but the taste of the dogs made up for it. They don't offer a wide variety of menu items so what they do offer, they do well.
