I absolutely love their Asian Chicken Salad. Such a treat. The only change I would make; make the chicken less salty.

Our first time to Zaxby's in many years. Thought maybe it would be good for lunch as it was busy with customers. Unfortunately this did not meet expectations. Ordered at the counter (inside dining is available) and Jason took our order. When we asked questions he said he is new. We decided on ordering two Snack Packs: three tiny chicken fingers that were NOT crunchy, a piece of toast, fries, Zax Sauce, and a separate container of fries. Not sure why the double serving of fries. We were told it came with coleslaw and we did t get any. Iced tea tastes good. They serve sweet and unsweetened tea, water, and there's a fancy Coca Cola machine. Clean dining area. However, the trash was needed emptied as it was very full. Overall not impressed. Dry, bland food that took twice as long to come out to us even though we ordered AHEAD of a large party. They got their food first. Ours had longer to cook and tasted like it sat under heat lamps. PISS. POOR. SERVICE. I genuinely try to be fair when giving reviews especially as someone who has worked in all aspects of the service industry, including fast food. We arrive at this Zaxbys and place our drive thru order at 7:37PM. The only customers there are us. No one inside, no one in the drive thru. I order a #1. This consists of 3 tenders and fries. We pull around and pay and wait. The young lady, Kayleigh, asks us to pull around and wait for our order, we don't because there's no one behind us. She comes back to the window and asks us to move again, we politely let her know there's no one behind us so we would rather wait at the window and figured it would be easier for them as it was raining, why make them walk out in the rain if they don't have to. She proceeds to explain that it messes with their "numbers" or drive thru times. So we pull around. After about 10 minutes we were thinking "dang this is taking a long time" especially as we were the only ones there. We watch another car pull behind us. From where I was sitting I could see the drive thru clock. It was green until it hit 30 seconds, then yellow until it got to 61 seconds where it turns red. Every time it got to red they cleared the board. If you've ever worked in fast food this is unfortunately common practice to keep the store looking good to corporate/franchise owner(s). The issue is you need to remember to actually make peoples food. After 18 minutes my friend goes in and asks. The girl behind the counter yells to the cook to make a #1. My friend comes and tells me, I go inside cause I'm honestly upset and ask for a refund. There were at least 7 employees standing around talking. I get my refund in cash even though I paid with card and the Manager, Ian, really didn't care or even give a simple apologize or ask what even happened. With his dismissal approach I put on my "Karen" hat and let him know I would be doing the survey and contacting corporate. An apology would have sufficed but I didn't get that. He obviously needed my receipt to give the refund but proceeded to try and keep it after giving me my cash. I needed that to do the survey. Zaxbys is such a great chain, this really saddens me. I assume this is normal behavior for this location based on other reviews. read more

We have not been to a Zaxby's in many years. We have been to competitors like Raisin Cane's so my review will be comparing Zaxby's to Raisin Cane's. Speed of order was awful: we placed our order prior to a large group who came in and it took 20 minutes to get our food; the large group had their food prior to ours. Others who came in after us also had their food prior. Food: awful compared to Raisin Cane's. The chicken fingers are small, not very crunchy (poor texture) and the flavor was just OK. The fries were soggy and what we received was different than was explained to us (no coleslaw with our order). Likelihood to return? Probably never. I have a Chick-fil-a nearby, and a Bojangles, so why should I return? read more

We stopped here for dinner after traveling home from Thanksgiving. The salad...I mean zalad was tasty. The greens were crisp and fresh and the chicken was hot off the grill. The only issue I had was that the chicken was a little salty for my taste. The service was good and the food came out fast! read more

I ordered double cole slaw with the tenders meal. I paid 9 plus dollars for that meal and got double fries instead of cole slaw. Not happy about that. I had ordered it online and it was picked up in the drive-thru. When it arrived and I didn't even get one bowl of cole slaw much less the two I had ordered I was pretty disappointed. read more

the workers are genuinely so careless now. half of the orders are forgotten or wrong, the sauces are never there even if they're paid for, and nobody gives a damn. it's genuinely so unprofessional & it's annoying to try and eat here when the food is really good but the service is worse than terrible. read more

I placed an order in their app. called to let them know I had arrived and they told me they would be right out. 15 minutes later and still no food. I call again and was told that no one had let him know that I was there, so my food arrives Five minutes later: cold and not correct and my drink no longer had ice in it. not impressed at all. read more

It's always nice to see new establishments in the area. Relatively new, so a lot of people. But they need more people on the floor to clean the tables and the soda area. Otherwise, food is good! read more

Went to this Zaxby's today and opened my drink cup and found at least 10 black hairs in my drink. It was absolutely disgusting. I know mistakes can happen and normally I would not complain. But seriously it looked like someone shaved their hair and dumped it in the cup. Not only that but had to wait 10 minutes for them to bring our 1 chicken sandwich to the car after telling us to pull around the building and wait. I LOVE Zaxbys!!! Just not this one. This pains me to write this bad review but the quality of food depends on the people who work there to care. These people did not. We receive our food burnt. The cashier tries to convince me that this is how these sandwiches are served, but the bread was burnt beyond edible. The packages of sauce we received had holes in them. Two different kinds both had holes. The replacements had holes too. Third time was a charm and the lady made sure it was good to go but I am sure someone noticed this prior to me having to say something. You don't serve people sauces that have been cut with someone dirty box cutter. The fries. I love Zaxbys crinkle fries! There was a high blood pressure inducing amount of salt on the fries! We just had to shake the salt off as much as we could because I refuse to go back up with another grievance. I am not mad at a mistake because we all make them but how could you serve your mistakes to paying customers. I am guessing this is the reason why there wasn't a line. There was a line at Chick fil a because they have exceptional service and take care of their customers. Take notes Zaxby's. Don't let my favorite fast food place go down the drain. read more

We love their Food but hate their loud hollering music . They need to turn it down or play 50 or 60 music.

I think Zazby's serves high quality food and is on par with another chicken and tenders restaurant I'm fond of called Raising Canes. The bread, fries, and chicken were on point and their signature Zax's sauce is to die for. I recommend all chicken lovers to try out Zaxby's. read more
