Not impressed with the place. To be honest I forget it is there even though I go past the place several times a week back and forth. I really like diners, love a good greasy spoon diner, but this place just doesn't tick off any of the things that make a good diner, especially eating in. The atmosphere is flat, the food is ok but pricey and I have had workers stop eating there in the last bit because they said the staff there pretty much make them feel like they have to leave a tip and that the food is too expensive for them to eat there anymore and this is why we had the conversation at Food City's eating section. I like diner hot dogs with chili, slaw and onion and the buns need to either be steamed or toasted and that should be expected when you eat out. This place is just never on my radar! read more

Not much on ambience but rich in history and tradition. I was surprised that such a small place had such a broad menu. Their delivery of meats was delayed and she has become fairly common during the covid-19, so I had to opt for a BLT sandwich instead of their pork chop sandwich on the menu. It was done right and it saved me a buck over the pork chop. On my next visit I want to take a larger appetite and try Arvil's Big hamburger with "the secret ingredient." Great breakfast menu also. read more

A Bristol Original. They have really good home style food at great prices. There isn't a lot of parking so I would park across the street at FoodCity. There takeout is always good too. My favorite is their breakfast. read more

Very disappointed in Tootie's!!!!!! Use to eat here- when it was good!! Visited today for lunch it was the worst lunch I've had! Looks as if the fries were leftovers, little stubs and few larger fries that tasted like old oil. The sandwich I got with tomato, didn't have the end cut off, I just happen to see it -that's laziness or don't care!? When I walked in, no greeting at all, at the checkout I felt like I was a bother. She was most unfriendly, person to be in customer service. I almost left when I first walked in only wish I had!!! read more

My husband and I stopped by this place while we were passing through. The name got us. It's a cute little diner with good food. The restaurant is clearly older, and it could use a little cleaning in some places honestly. However, the burgers themselves are big, tasty, and reasonably priced. Tooties resturant a great local joint. The staff is so friendly and will tell you the story of the restaurant. It's located where a lake once was. It is bristol oldest resturant established in 1945. The owner was on premises and we were even invited to meet him. He came out and thanked us for coming and invited us back. The hamburger meat is ground fresh daily and it shows and tastes. read more

I'm still trying to forgive them. one time they over charged me. it was during lunch hour and they were very busy. since it was only four dollars.... I let it go. During the same lunchtime visit i was encouraged to stay away from certain lunch menu items on account that they weren't cooking those right now. (during lunch time!) i have been here several times since, the breakfast food is really good. the burgers are really good, however, the "Arville" burger that is their signature sandwich has onions rolled right into the ground beef which i cant stand! the bottom line: it is small and busy. you have to stand in line to order. I can be indecisive, this place has a lot of items and variations on the menu. knowing that i could end up paying 12 bucks for the basic hamburger combo makes me weary. read more

A local restaurant and a way better choice than fast food. The food is excellent, the front door sticks a bit when you come in and it's full of older people that have a staring problem, get past that and it's excellent affordable food, I love the service and how fast they are. My only complaint is that the other customers tend to stare at you if you're different than them, but I suppose that comes with the experience, Excellent food though. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Do not be put off by this restaurant until you try it. Breakfast is amazing also and if I'm not mistaken an all day thing. read more

This little burger joint is worth the stop if your in Bristol and looking for a home style burger. The food is great and staff are friendly. Prices are about average but the building is out dated. Still, a great country style burger. read more
