On our first trip to Bristol, we were looking for a great breakfast spot and decided to try Eggs Up Grill based on the excellent reviews. I had the Philly Cheesesteak Omelet and my wife ordered the Creme Brulee French Toast--both were delicious! The decor is simple and straightforward, which was perfect since we were looking for great food rather than a fancy atmosphere. I'd seen some reviews complaining about the chairs, but I actually found them perfectly fine, even for being made of wood. Definitely a solid choice for breakfast in town! 8 dollar biscuit gravy and eggs, come on! And I mean it's that stuff we used to eat as kids kinda good! Nice to see a mom and pop type of chain with some authenticity. I was traveling back to NJ with my family and we stopped here for some breakfast to fuel up for the long drive home. I found this location on Yelp and I really enjoyed it. The location is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The inside is really spacious and decorated very colorfully. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the pick 3 omlette which came with a side of potatoes and toast. The omelette was great but I wasn't a huge fan of the spice on the potatoes. Overall a solid breakfast spot if you're traveling in the area and near I-81. read more

We were looking for a breakfast joint and came here, I ordered an omelette with bacon mushroom spinach and avocado and a side of grits. My boyfriend's son ordered scrambled eggs they were not cooked all the way through so he didn't eat them. My omelette was gross and there was no avocado and by the time the lady waitress came back was after everybody else was finished and I asked about my avocado and so she went to go get it and I don't know why in the world they would drench avocado in season salt which is disgusting to start with. I tried to wipe it off but it would not work. avocado supposed to be put in the omelette plain not with seasoned salt so my meal went into the trash other than I ate the grits. we also ordered the cinnamon apple donuts and they were dry and too sweet. read more

First of all avoid the old grumpy lady at the door. Besides that this place was amazing. Great food. Great doughnuts. Our server was absolutely wonderful. When we 1st started going here shortly after they 1st opened, the food, service & atmosphere was all top notch (not the prices, but fair) but unfortunately today I had a less than appealing experience. The server brought me the wrong toast & I asked her if it was raisin toast. She said, no it's sour dough bread toast. Then she asked me if I wanted it replaced with my order. I said, no I'm fine as it is. Then later she brought me some rasin toast anyways (?). So thank you for trying to be considerate but I was fine without my requested toast (I'm trying to lose weight anyways). Then she proceeded to show me that she typed in Rasin Toast but it wasn't rasin toast. So if she brought me the wrong meal, who's at fault, the chef or the server who took the order & served the meal? Isn't it a servers job to serve complete & proper meals? I wouldn't even care so much but then she came to check on us but wouldn't look at me or address me (even though I was clearly paying the bill). I hate to gripe about trivial matters, but please listen to your customers instead of trying to justify your store mistake, I Really was fine without the rasin toast & it didn't matter who erred but Yiu wanted to somehow "make it right" even after I expressed satisfaction with your request to replace it & my reply to accept it as it was. I will be back anyways, the food is good, then service is okay (room 4 improvement) & the prices don't gouge you too badly (unless you're poor). BTW, she still got over 15% tip & I start ALL servers at 20% & most get 22-30% (she was under par but we won't mention her name). read more

I was really disappointed. The waitress was terrible! She brings us our hot drinks Tea and Coffee and I went to grab the creamer and poured it into my coffee and it was spoiled. I asked her is she could bring me some fresh creamer because it was curdled. She said oh, I know it was supposed to be switched out yesterday. If you knew that, why did B. L not change it out or check the quality? She then said I can bring you some milk if ya like. meanwhile I asked her to please take the spoiled creamer cups and she never did until on a third request I finally had her get the clue get it off the table. She was chewing gum the whole time while serving us. Who hasn't explained that is an epic fail. So then I asked for a Cranberry Mimosa which came in a dirty glass. Eggs Benedict: Weren't too bad - the muffins were a bit large for the ham and egg and skimpy on the Hollandaise sauce. Potatoes came out cold so it would be hard to give an honest answer on them. Biggest problem was the plastic plates on the the plastic tables. The plates slide around when you are cutting something...I would be surprised if plates didn't regularly go flying off the tables. Makes it very difficult to enjoy the meal. Might try again if reviews improve. read more
