Dessert menu April 2026

Food was good on a Sunday evening buffet. Things looked well prepared and labeled. Salad section was fresh. There was plenty of staff and the dining room space looked clean. The men's restroom smelled of sewage and that needs immediate attention. Prices mainly reasonable. Some people appeared to be ordering off menu and the rest got the endless $16.99 buffet. Not a bad deal.

All you can eat breakfast buffet

The restaurant was busy but cozy. Music playing in the background. The waitress was very prompt and gave me a coffee to go. The all you can eat breakfast buffet was well worth $8.99. Everything on the bar was fresh!

This place is great! They have multiple locations across southwest Virginia. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon between 11 and 12 and the breakfast buffet was still running. It wasn't as busy since the breakfast rush had pretty much come and gone. I'm not sure if it's only on the weekends or this location only but I believe the breakfast buffet is all day long as well as the lunch and dinner buffet. The prices were great and the food was delicious. Me being a country girl I loaded up on biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. Everything was so tasty. The decor is really homey and reflects Southwest VA and the musical history that lies there. Our waitress was amazing! I really wish I could remember her name to give her the props she deserves. Definitely stop in at one of their locations either in Abington, Wytheville, or Hillsville. You will get your money's worth and your belly full.

I spent less than I would have at Mckie-Ds on a road trip and got so much more value.

This place gets a five for so many reasons…read more First thing is that everyone that works there is a true delight to speak with. I was staying at a hotel just down the street and our experience was so good, My son and I had breakfast two days in a row here. Not only was Sierra and the team of people working the breakfast counter sweeter than the homemade jam, they were also engaging friendly and so kind to my son and me. Let's talk about the food. The homemade bread, perfectly cooked eggs, homemade local sausage, fresh local breads from the bakery around the corner, which I believe was Stick Figure or something like that, and probably the best pancake I've had in years. If you love breakfast- and I do not... you are not to miss this place. I must say that this May has turned me into a breakfast lover. Just a note, you'll probably wait an hour for a table... But the breakfast counter and community table are towards the back Thank you all! Hope to see you soon

I just went shopping while waiting to get paged. There are lots of little stores to check out in the area. I waited less than 20 mins. Once seated we had the honey lemon ginger tea pot (absolutely recommend) and a latte. Food wise, we ordered the super sunny avocado toast (I opted for scrambled eggs), the stuffed French toast and Melanie's fruit waffle. Everything was beyond Delicious!! If I ever come down this way, this is where I'm having breakfast again. Great and lots of different options for everyone. Service was phenomenal!

The main building is a lovely and spacious modern inn that balances comfort and traditional elements with open and wide modern floor plans and bright spaces in a pleasing way while retaining the cozy fireplace experiences of more traditional settings. A first floor outdoor veranda opposite the main entrance stretches the length of the main building overlooking the well groomed hillside vineyards and a stocked, picturesque fishing pond. The hillside stretches up the horizon and with the westward facing veranda, offers stunning sunset views along with wine service. Below is a patio off the main restaurant and bar offering even more seating around fire pits with couches and Adirondack chairs with appetizer and drinks available for the bar/restaurant. We toured a king 2 room suite with a large sitting area separated from an equally large and well appointed sleeping area with a private large balcony that also faced the western sunset over the vineyards. The rooms were described as more akin to an apartment whereas the 9 onsite yurts accommodations were described more akin to a condo, described as pet friendly and a quiet community. Behind the yurts is a large barn structure that serves as a tasting room with an outdoor seating area with Edison lights strung around the overhang creating a warm space to enjoy the vineyards end production, currently nine wine vintages. Beside the main building are two much larger shaped yurt structures housing a full fitness center and a spa as will as an outdoor pool. We dined at Hickory for dinner and enjoyed their farm to table, Appalachia oriented menus. That will be a separate review but it hits 10/10 for hospitality, service, presentation and food excellence. We plan a fall trip for an overnight stay when the vineyards come in just before harvest to get the full experience! Also, we initially had a glass of their Chardonnay and being pleased with this, we opted to enjoy a bottle with dinner even though the wine list had equally excellent choices from familiar vineyards. This is highly recommended!
