The old Chinese lady that works there was very rude and unconcerned that I had found a hair in my desert.infact she rudely told me to get another desert . She claimed the hair didn't belong to anyone there...saying I must have put it there basically..I really wanted it until then.i suddenly lost my appetite.she refused to give me any portion of my money back as well. Today, upon recommendations from others, we decided to try China Wok Buffet. Never again. My wife, daughter, and myself were all incredibly disappointed with the food. $53 for three buffets and three soft drinks is pricey for the selection of items available. Speaking of the items, most everything was overcooked or sat under the heat lamps for longer than they should, because nothing was chewable. All the meats, which are primarily chicken and beef, were so tough I couldn't chew them enough to swallow except for the pepper steak. The service was ok. They were friendly, but upon sitting down with our food they immediately asked if everything was ok, before anyone had taken a bite of the extremely overpriced and subpar food. The crab Rangoon was bangin', though. I would eat an entire fresh order of it and avoid everything else. read more

I have been there twice. Both times. The food was either at room temp, or cold. I don't think they heat the food bars.

This restaurant was closed around 2020, but was reopened in 2023 at a new location. I genuinely am having a difficult time understanding the negative reviews on here. we've been numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The food is always good, typically fresh, and has a great variety of deserts, sushi, sides, and entre items. the music is not overly loud and the plates and tables are very clean. Even during the busiest hours, they do a great job moving people through the checkout line. The prices are also extremely solid. I'd recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice evening out. read more

If it was possible to give a -5 stars i would. This place is pathetic. The hostess/server had a careless annoyed attitude, the floors were so sticky you could hear shoes sticking to it. The table was sticky. We were first told they were out of pepsi. Then told they were out of soda altogether. The buffet was terrible. Over half of the selections were nearly empty and looked as if they had been sitting there for hours. What they did have all looked dried out and old. There was minimal selections to begin with The whole place screamed food poisoning hall in the wall. I hope a health inspector pops in on them. This place needs to be shut down. Words cannot express how incredibly bad this place is! I walked in, and when I saw the four-pound ball of raw pork being prepared in the dining room that was serving as a makeshift kitchen addition, I walked right out. I thought the other negative reviews had to be an anomaly, but they weren't! Your feet stick to the linoleum floors as soon as you enter, and the hostess looked as surprised to see someone coming in to eat as I was to be in that place. Went in and order take out. The service was rude. There was no thank you, have a nice day, or anything. Didn't tell us how long it would take for the food to be ready either. I got the chicken lo mein and crab ragoon. No complaints on the crab ragoon. But, the chicken in my chicken lo mein was not edible. It was slimy and did not taste or have the texture of chicken. With not many options for Chinese food in this area we decided to give this place a try. We are in Abington for a weekend getaway and wanted something easy and tasty. The easy part was getting to the buffet. We never encountered the tasty part. It is hard to describe how bad this take out was. I can't compare the taste of the egg rolls to anything I have ever eaten but it was the oddest taste of anything I have ever eaten. But, at least the egg roll had a taste. The beef and broccoli and the general tso's chicken tasted like what I would think cardboard would taste. Avoid this place at all costs. We went on Saturday, December 16,2017 and the food was mostly cold, the sushi was warm, and the shrimp that they keep on ice tasted terrible, there was something wrong with it. The wait staff never came to our table to check on us or as if we needed refills; they were on their devices instead of working. The meal cost 4 of us $55.00 and when I confronted the cashier; she laughed and said "you ate it" We did not eat all of it and were fearful that we would be surcharged for what we didn't eat as alot of Chinese buffets do that now when you waste. First I preface this with I am not a Chinese food fan or aficionado. When I get Chinese I get ONE THING! Sweet and sour chicken! BUT I rate the entire restaurant by the sweet and sour chicken. A properly made sweet and sour chicken contains: chunks of pineapple, julienned green pepper(or other colors), and julienned onion in the sweet and sour sauce. This was only some runny sweet and sour sauce, looked like from a grocery store. It came with "FRIED RICE". This was also horrible. Fried rice usually a white sticky rice, some onion, fried egg, peas and carrots, soy sauce. THIS WAS YELLOW RICE WITH PEAS AND CARROTS! Essentially chicken and yellow rice. It was the plainest rice I have eaten. I really wanted to like this place as I live very close to it. The eggroll I liked. But the rest was not very good. My wife and son had the general tsao's it was chicken and rice, no vegetables with the chicken and my son likened it to buffalo chicken. All in all if you want good Chinese food don't go here! Honestly it is almost impossible to find any good chinese in the godforsaken part of the country.
