I'm difficult so I asked to modify the white pizza, we had alfredo and marinara sauce mixed, with garlic, red onion, and tons of cheese, (no ricotta). The pizza came out fast, fresh and was very good. The crust is so delicious I could have just eaten that. My only complaint is the dessert, the baklava was not fresh, it was kind of like cardboard. food was okay, i mean it was fresh don't get me wrong. but how does it take a hour and half to make a kid's spaghetti, lasagna, and a Stromboli? that is crazy to me. also the waitress we had was horrible. my child accidentally hit a cup and spilled the drink. no biggie we helped clean it up and got it all taken care of and usually after that happens you get a new drink right? not here. we waited and waited after a hour i had to ask for another. and another thing was they brought out all of our meals separately, with easily 30 minutes in between each of us getting our food. i would get it if it was just the kids meal but it was all of the meals, which is pretty rude in my opinion. and my partner let his food get cold before he could eat it so i wouldn't have to eat alone. if i could give 0 stars i would. read more

We LOVE Alfredo's. It's a great restaurant with excellent food. However, we just got home with our order and it was packaged SO poorly. Everything was a greasy mess, my sauce leaked all over the bag, the garlic knots had NO garlic taste to them at all and we're very dry. Plus, the online ordering is great, but there aren't any options. I wanted the chicken Alfredo and had a choice between artichoke or broccoli. There's no option for passing on the veggies. Just like there's no option for passing on a salad. Price compared to what I got....I am 100% NOT HAPPY. My husband and I have been in the restaurant business for a lot of years and sending an order out like this? Nope...we'd have been fired. This was pretty sad. read more

This was the worst Greek I've ever experienced. I ordered a gyro, and it was a thin little pita wrap with a few thin slices of "lamb" meat, more like lunch meat, it was DISGUSTING!!!! I can't speak for the Italian food because I didn't have any, but I sure hope it's better than the gyro! We really liked the pizza from Alfredo's. We've dined in and had food delivered. The delivery experience was much better than dining in for us. The owners and their family are fantastic. When they were there it was a great experience. The second time we visited...they weren't there and the service was extremely slow. There was only one other small family being served and the server was struggling to keep it together. Might've been just a bad night for her. The food though...was pretty good. read more

I am 65 years old. I know a good stromboli when I get one. Everyone I take here has always commented that they have never had anything better. The portions are incredibly generous. But most importantly the food is fresh and amazingly delicious. The garlic knots with cheese are the best I have ever had too. A friend of mine from NY is a snob when it comes to calzones or Stromboli's. He agreed he has never had anything like it. It was so good he had a togo box to take back to NY. Unfortunately on his way to the car he dropped it onto the gravel in the parking lot. He was so distraught, but instead of tossing it he brushed the dirt off and ate it when he got back. I can be a bit of a food snob, I'll admit. I've been on the hunt for a place to satisfy my craving for a great gyro, and I lucked out when I gave Alfredo's a chance. Yes, it's slabs of meat, but why would you complain about getting more meat for the price? It's tender, the pita is perfect as is the tzatziki (cucumber) sauce on it. They're a family-based restaurant, which is always a plus in my book. Give them a shot! Also, a small calzone is quite large, so just go in knowing you probably will be more than satisfied with it for a couple of meals. read more

When my girlfriend got there to pick up the 2 so called large "bout the size of a Digorno pizza" the total was $34 because of the meatballs not being a topping??? Stopped by for lunch today, thought I'd take a chance and it paid off! I ordered the spanikopita and the babaganoush, which came with Egyptian bread. Very fresh and tasty spanikopita! Waaaay better than nearby Athens steakhouse. That Egyptian bread was delicious...it might just be pizza dough cooked on a flat grill, but who cares? I don't. Loved it. The prices are better than Mad Greek and the food is just as good or better. Atmosphere is a bit shady, but it seems clean. That's saying a lot for most places out here. I had a VERY large order & used the online menu thru Yelp to make all my choices from Alfredo's full menu, which included cheese steak calzones, a Hawaiian calzone (cheese w/my choice of toppings), lasagna, mozzarella sticks & deserts. After confirming my list was correct & complete, I was able to pay for my order, which included choices for gratuity. At the time, I was unable to choose delivery as my option--which was probably an issue w/my phn & not the system--so I called ahead to confirm the order was received & asked if delivery was possible. The hostess was friendly, very personable & knew my location although this was my 1st time delivery & said she would be glad to deliver it all. My girlfriend ordered a cheesesteak deluxe and I ordered a deluxe calzone. 30 minutes after the time it was supposed to arrive they were delivered without sauce and burnt. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES! !! The food is fine. However, my frustration level is high after trying to correct over charges. We ordered pizza one night, and they left some coupons and a menu, so we decided to order again the next night since they deliver to the hotel we are staying in. The pizza is acceptable. Not great, but not bad for people on the road who just want some pizza. The coupon was for $14.99 for 2 pasta dishes. We added one order of meatballs for $1.50 and a stuffed mushroom appetizer for 6.99. 12% Tax and $3 delivery included, it should have been $29.66. They charged $34.88. So I called, the manager/or owner answered and said I had an old coupon and the charge was $15.99. I told him that should have been mentioned since I specifically said I had a $14.99 coupon (which if that was the only issue I never would have called) and that still didnt explain the amount of the overcharge. He was difficult and said there was an upcharge for meatsauce. I told him I asked what the options were, and the girl said meat or marinara. No mention of an upcharge. He told me the "now you know we upcharge for meat sauce ". In the end I doubt they will fix the mistake. After a 7 minute phone call I simply said, "do what you think is right". We travel a lot and if every place charged us $5 more than what we expected, that would add up. But really it's the principal of the matter. I want to be charged what I am expecting to be charged. Not have someone tell me their coupon that's one day old, is wrong. And their employee is wrong. And I'm not a valued customer. Won't be back. Ever. read more

We stopped here on a road trip, mostly because we were hungry and it was the first place we saw. We're glad we did. The one negative is that it was early afternoon and the inside was too cold - keep on your jacket cold, in my case, but it was also an unexpectedly cold day outside, so maybe the oldish building took more time to heat up. We ordered a special, lentil soup, which was served hot and slightly spicy and was good, but what really surprised and delighted us was the homemade, hot pita bread served with the very good falafel and the excellent baba ghanoush, which was absolutely terrific, creamy and smoky, served with smoked paprika and a few black olives on top. We once had a neighbor from Iran who made this for us. This was every bit as good. There was almost too much for the two of us to finish. We're looking forward to trying the tzatziki and spanakopita the next time we're traveling. There were a lot of pizzas served, as well as a cheese calzone at the next table. They looked very appealing and we overheard what sounded like sighs of contentment. The girls serving the tables need a bit of training. Forgotten flatware and dishes were immediately brought over with smiles and apologies. This is likely a family restaurant and we wish them lots of luck. read more

When I have a craving for anything yummy, I always go to Alfredos! My favorite is the cheese steak and the hummus. They make their own bread and it melts in your mouth. I haven't had everything on the menu but I have tasted just quite a few of their dishes. All excellent! The staff is friendly and your business is appreciated. If you haven't tried this place, you should. The food is excellent and the prices way more than fair. I have no idea why this isn't a 5 star rating from everyone. Stopped through here for take out while traveling through town. This place definitely offered much better options than your typical fast food. We each got a Falafel pita and split an order of fried mushrooms. The Falafel pitas were actually shocking in size! I've never seen a pita that large...it was like half of a large dinner plate! There had to be at least eight Falafel balls in there. Everything tasted pretty standard but was very satisfying. Fried mushrooms seemed like your typical frozen fried mushrooms. Well I ordered a Caesar Salad and veggie lasagna. The salad is supposed to be made with ROMAINE lettuce but it was iceberg! I pointed this out when paying, he just shrugged and still charged me for a Caesar and not a regular salad, like I didn't know the difference and it didn't matter?! Said the romaine wasn't delivered and they'd been out all week but jeez the grocery store is right around the corner man! Serve it right or cut the price. And whoever made the veggie lasagna is clueless about that. ugh. No tomato sauce and weird combo of chunky veggies. Disappointing for sure.
