Always a favorite of ours! Every chicken salad option we tried was amazing and the service is always great! You have bread and croissant options in addition to the multiple chicken salad options. Toasted or not, plus plenty of sides to choose from. And every meals gets a little sugar cookie for dessert. Their soups are delicious as well. The tables have cute tablecloths that are cleaned after every use. I hope we get one closer to home. read more

I found this place by accident stopping to get gas and a bite on a long road trip. What a find! I got a sandwich to go and was quickly back on the road. What a great break from the fried, the salted, and the greasy travel food that gets rationalized on trips. The staff were genuine and friendly and I left with more salad for the hotel that night (no hunting for dinner) and a smile. I wish we had a Chicken Salad Chick near our home. Recommended. read more

Fairly new joint that wasn't too busy for a Fri afternoon around 1:00. Order at counter, they bring it to you when ready. I had the Classic salad which you can choose if you want topped with various types of chicken salad. It arrived fairly quick. Generous portion of green leafy lettuce topped with large scoop of the fruit and nut chicken salad with poppy seed dressing. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside for me was the bathroom. It's small, unappealing and not the cleanest. People were in line to use it. Why would you build a brand new business and only have a one toilet bathroom? Love chicken salad chick! The Kickin Kay Lynn is my favorite - a bit spicy but a lot of flavor. The grape salad is wonderful. I also had the chicken tortilla soup and it was very good. The strawberry lemonade was good to the last drop! My husband really enjoyed his chicken salad BLT sandwich too. He also commented on how friendly the customer service was. Yum yum yum! Stopped in on our way back to the Richmond area. From the southern style to the butter cream cookies - everything was great. Need to properly label that the drive thru is not an actual drive thru. After waiting for 30 minutes in line I was told it is for to go orders only. The drive thru needs to be labeled clearly that it is for online to go orders! read more

We decided to try Chicken Salad Chick after we'd seen good reviews. Sad to say we were very disappointed. The chicken salad is nothing special and the Mac and cheese we got was flavorless. Obviously they aren't known for Mac and cheese, but come on, you can't make something that simple good? Had a terrible experience trying to order and go through the drive thru as well. Was going to call in my order but the employee I spoke with didn't even know the right number. I had to wait to place an order online because of so many orders at the time, which I somewhat understand because of covid. Just a bad experience overall. read more

The food is good. My only complaint is they have never, ever, ever gave plastic ware with the drive thru. If a customer orders soup, it's self explanatory that a spoon would be needed. Not sure I'll go back for for a while. read more
