On one occasion they lied about honoring it and adjusted the gratuity to hide the fact. 2. Their specialty drinks are not mixed correctly. Either overly sweet or overly sour. 3. The wait staff will forget to bring things to your table. Normally that's not a big deal if you see them again before you finish your food. 4. The food is mediocre most of the time. Its not bad, but its not great either. 5. The food is over priced for the quality they serve lately. If you want a better experience for less or the same money, go to Puerto Nuevo. La Carreta used to be much much better than they are now.

The food has been fantastic every time. The staff have always been friendly. Have I had some mistakes on my orders? Occasionally but nothing that the staff didn't fix right away if I asked them too. Another thing about this restaurant is gets SLAMMED during peak lunch and business hours. If you have ever been there during that time every single employee is cooking and serving food, they are incredibly busy. If you've gone here and found it messy it's most likely because you arrived just after a rush. I've seen it happen. I think people giving bad reviews (and by reading many of them) they don't seem to have attempted engaging any of the employees about their concerns. If I was unhappy with something or needed a table cleaned they always jumped to do it. read more

Make sure your children are fed beforehand, because they will kick and scream as you sit at a 20 minute stand still in the drive thru, and make no plans that require you being anywhere at a specific time. Don't even think about asking for white rice before noon because they never have it, but do not fret! They will give you extra crispy fried rice in its place. It was almost as tasty as the last time they sent me home with an empty box in the drive thru. (Not even kidding) I would've given zero stars but it wasn't an option. read more

She brought my drink and then some 10 minutes later brought besties's tea after we tracked her down. They had typical Chinese restaurant fair on the menu. The restaurant wasn't super busy when we got there. There weren't a lot of people seated outside. It appeared. They had only three people running food and taking orders. A fair amount of gas did show up after us and probably got their food. We had to track somebody down as there was some delay in them actually pulling our ticket to go make our food after we had ordered via the QR code of the table. This was a bit disappointing. I can only chalk it up to having inexperienced help during the festival. When ordering on the app, you can make modifications to just about any dish. Bestie did order something called ants on a log - it was a vermicelli rice noodle dish. Came out completely wrong without any of the extra she ordered. I ordered a simple chicken and broccoli. Chicken had an odd texture and Bestie's dish had chicken too and she thought it was a little odd as well. She did get a new order made when we saw her order was wrong. We brought it to one of the waiters's attention and they made her a fresh order and that came out very quickly. Which we did appreciate. We were served on paper plates, which I can only assume was for the festival. There was live music playing in the front room of the restaurant which could be heard throughout. It wasn't super loud so we could have a conversation. The food tasted OK. It wasn't anything to rave about. Prices were very reasonable.
