I really wanted shrimp and grits but it was going to be a wait due to the grits not being ready. I pivoted to something else. I asked not our server (who happened to be the bartender) but the person who delivered the food if there was any way to get a spot of grits whenever they were ready even if it was at the end of the meal. After finishing we were presented with a small takeout of grits which made the entire evening- they were outstanding. They recognized that they should have been ready and made up for it at the end. Nice way to tie a bow on the evening by being thoughtful. Hope to return.

After several minutes of being completely ignored, I left. Should've gone to Aunt Bee's in the first place. Aunt Bee's is better all around anyways. Friendly service, smiles, and people who actually acknowledge that customers exist. Funny how far basic hospitality goes in the restaurant business. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but a simple "We'll be right with you" isn't exactly a five-star request. Then again, it's Greeneville. My expectations weren't set very high to begin with, and somehow they still managed to miss the bar. Skip this place.

This was the first time I have ordered Turkey that was SHREDDED. I guess I should have asked, but again, I have never seen that before. The green beans and baked beans were O K, but nothing special. The only saving grace to the meal was a dessert I got to go for home was an Eclair cake thing which was fairly good. Janie waited on me and her service was great. I was so disappointed with my meal, I probably won't be returning.
