Just walked into a half-full restaurant, made eye contact with multiple servers, stood at the door waiting to be seated, and apparently became invisible. After several minutes of being completely ignored, I left. Should've gone to Aunt Bee's in the first place. Aunt Bee's is better all around anyways. Friendly service, smiles, and people who actually acknowledge that customers exist. Funny how far basic hospitality goes in the restaurant business. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but a simple "We'll be right with you" isn't exactly a five-star request. Then again, it's Greeneville. My expectations weren't set very high to begin with, and somehow they still managed to miss the bar. Skip this place. read more

I ordered the sirloin, truly not expecting too much because it was a sirloin. It was tender, cooked perfectly and juicy! Taste was great. Now here's where it really gets good! The two sides I ordered, living dangerously with the carbohydrates, ha ha, creamed, corn, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Those mashed potatoes were the best ones I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere. They were creamy and extremely flavorful with a good gravy! The cream corn was just the right touch of sweetness with a little saltiness! Such a wonderful dinner! I DoorDashed so I can't speak to the staff, but they got it to me quickly and again, it was so good! Five stars! Really was not expecting much as I am new in town- will come again! read more

The breakfasts are always soooo good. But the lunch and dinners are outstanding. My favorite is the smoked chicken salad with a side of greens. Their greens! . A hamburger there is always the beat hamburger that you've ever eaten. Don't want to forget the staff because they are all so kind and anxious to make sure that all of your need are met. read more

I took my wife to Circle S for a meal. It was one local place we hadn't tried yet. The waitress was very pleasant and inviting. The prices were a bit high considering the ambiance is mediocre at best. My wife ordered the Chicken Wrap and I think she enjoyed it. I got the Pulled Pork Nachos. The pulled pork was good but the chips were like leather, not sure how that even happens. The first chip I tried was inedible as were many others on my plate. The honest truth is that I was so hungry that I searched for chips I could chew and ate the Pulled Pork. I ended up with a pile of impossibly hard chips on my plate. Considering that I had eaten some that took some work to chew and a good portion of meal was gone I informed the waitress of the issue when the bill came, then paid and left. The waitress had apologized for the poor quality of the food but I didn't feel I deserved a refund as I had eaten all that I could chew. My wife told me I was sweating from the effort! We just asked her to inform the cook and left. I'm told the waitress informed either the manager or owner of my culinary experience but no one said anything. If it were me I would have at least stopped by to pay respects, oh well. read more

Circle S has good food with generous portions, and the customer service is excellent. For dine-in or takeout, it's a solid hometown restaurant with made-to-order meals. However, for Dashers, this place is a major red flag --low pay, long distance, and long wait times for orders make it tough to justify. Great for the food, but not ideal if you're delivering. It's costed me more than it's paid. read more

Our server was AWESOME but our Mac Balls were cold, steak tip special was seriously over cooked and rice was grayish. The fish & chips was all batter and no fish. May have been an off night because usually we recommend them when people are looking for options. read more

This opened recently and it's always busy. We tried it for the first time for a late lunch after the flea market. Everything was wonderful from the service to the food and drinks. We have the chicken wrap, bbq pork wrap, chicken tenders and cheeseburger and it was all great. Big portions so I took half my wrap to go. They have a ton of dessert options also and some unique ones. The cakes were very dry but the flavor was good. The prices are about like other restaurants l, definitely not a dive. Good for kids and a nice meal but I couldn't afford to eat here every week. 4 people with tea/soda, one appetizer and 4 slices of cake was $130 with tip. Definitely going back! I had a very tasty braised beef sandwich on sourdough bread. They were very friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely return.

You only get one chance to make a first impression. Stopped in for a to go order, family pack, 1 lb. of pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans, 4 buns. Do you know what makes for a really good BBQ sandwich? BBQ Sauce, which you forgot to put in the bag. I tried to check the order before leaving, but the girl had the plastic bag tied in a knot and I couldn't get it open. She promised that everything was in there. After driving home, 7 miles, I cut the bag open to put the potato salad in the fridge and saw there was no sauce. When we ate the food 4 hours later, I found a kidney bean in the pulled pork. Not sure if that is a side, or just there for flavor? Won't be back. read more

Our first experience at Circle S Farm was amazing! We were blown away by the great service and the delicious, fresh food. I had the grass fed beef burger with 2 sides, (coleslaw and baked beans). My mate had the ribeye sandwich and they were delicious! We shared some tasty fried pickles with ranch dressing and those were outstanding! These local folks also offer their fresh butchered meats for sale in bundles. It feels great knowing that part of our meal was raised locally on a farm nearby. We will absolutely be back and will recommend this place to our friends! On the way out...our waitress asked us if we'd like our drinks to go. Now, that's service! read more

We stopped at the circle s on the way back home after a long day of driving and delivering donations to Helene victims. We were starving! Upon entering we were faced with dirty looks and BLM and Rainbow flags! We brushed it off and sat down anyway. Not waiting to be seated we picked a large table to seat us all. Eventually a waitress came over and asked us for our orders. Twenty five minutes later we saw food. Some was hot. Some was not. We didn't care because we were so hungry until half way through the meal my son pulled a long curly brown hair out of his mouth! Then my daughter bites into a small piece of plastic! They apologized and didn't charge us at least. But the whole experience was just awful. Will not be going back! read more

We have given this place a few tries now and since we haven't been here in quite a while, we decided to have breakfast here this morning, which was just a big mistake. I told my husband this whole place just feels like a hot mess from the waitresses to the food. It's like there's just something missing or maybe it's just a lack of management or somebody who cares about quality but it's just a big mess... My biscuits and gravy were not hot at all probably just lukewarm, the home fries tasted like they were microwaved for 10 seconds and my husband had the breakfast burrito which was the smallest burrito I've ever seen. we had the cheddar rounds that were also just luke warm... I don't know what's going on over here but clearly they need to get a manager in there who's going to clean house. But this will be the last time my husband and I go here, we've just given it so many tries in the past and it's been a mess every single time.. I think the first time we went it was actually OK but ever since then it's just gone downhill and it doesn't look like it's gonna get any better which is such a bummer because unfortunately there's not a lot of breakfast places here in Greeneville. read more

I guess I need to try a few more items to see where all these great reviews come from. The decor is cafeteria style --understated and reminiscent of an interstate truck stop diner. Diner food usually compensates for the decor. The lighting reminds me of maybe an emergency ER or a Walgreens. If you drive by at night you will see what I mean. Not welcoming at all. I tried the Senior burger, very dry with no flavor. I struggled to finish it. I guess they think Seniors aren't picky. Not fresh ground beef at all like you would think you'd get from a local farm. Was so excited to have a new dining choice after Hix and Fatz closed...sooo disappointed. Although Texas Roadhouse ratings are not "sterling"...maybe some competition will spark some improvement with the few dining choices we have (that are not Mexican or Italian). read more
