Sirloin, Patty baked with potato loaded and Texas toast

We came in had to wait to Seated that was ok the service was good the food was good and getting close to closing and the employees were using the restroom as a playroom being very loud, not appropriate for a nice restaurant that I will return the service and the food was great

It's a great local place with many great options to choose from. We both had Rib Eyes and end up taking 2/3's home. Can't wait to go back here.

My husband and I heard wonderful things about Butcher's Block and those things were not wrong. We tried them out on a Saturday night for our anniversary. The atmosphere was casual and family friendly. Our server was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was delicious with large shrimp. I also had the French onion soup and bacon wrapped filet mignon. My husband had the cowboy ribeye (I believe that was the name and it had Cajun seasoning). Everything was perfectly cooked and super delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was you don't know your meal total until they ring up your bill at the register (many of the steaks show as "market price" on the menu) and the amounts aren't shown on the handwritten bill. But the prices were fair and we will definitely go back again.

A cute little place hidden away off the beaten path, with delightfully friendly but efficient staff and delicious food at reasonable prices.

We found the Butcher's Block while in town for a basketball clinic. I had one girl with some food allergies. Great service and great food.

The two sides I ordered, living dangerously with the carbohydrates, ha ha, creamed, corn, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Those mashed potatoes were the best ones I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere. They were creamy and extremely flavorful with a good gravy! The cream corn was just the right touch of sweetness with a little saltiness! Such a wonderful dinner! I DoorDashed so I can't speak to the staff, but they got it to me quickly and again, it was so good! Five stars! Really was not expecting much as I am new in town- will come again!

The prices were a bit high considering the ambiance is mediocre at best. My wife ordered the Chicken Wrap and I think she enjoyed it. I got the Pulled Pork Nachos. The pulled pork was good but the chips were like leather, not sure how that even happens. The first chip I tried was inedible as were many others on my plate. The honest truth is that I was so hungry that I searched for chips I could chew and ate the Pulled Pork. I ended up with a pile of impossibly hard chips on my plate. Considering that I had eaten some that took some work to chew and a good portion of meal was gone I informed the waitress of the issue when the bill came, then paid and left. The waitress had apologized for the poor quality of the food but I didn't feel I deserved a refund as I had eaten all that I could chew. My wife told me I was sweating from the effort! We just asked her to inform the cook and left. I'm told the waitress informed either the manager or owner of my culinary experience but no one said anything. If it were me I would have at least stopped by to pay respects, oh well.

Color me hooked. I asked a friend several years ago about Mrs. Belts Cafe. He's no food snob, so I…read morerespect his recs. He wasn't impressed. I've avoided it since. I decided to go against the rec and try it out for myself. I did a lunch special for $9.99, which came with 3 side and a roll, cornbread, or cheddar biscuit. If that didn't get your attention, well read on, my Yelp! friend. I pickle meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried squash, and corn fritters ('cause I'm healthy like that). Meatloaf is a hard thing to do outside of your momma or grandmama's house. Cracker Barrel can't get it right for me. Troyer's, in Limestone can sell you a 1/2 pound piece of it, but you and I both know it's mid. This meatloaf was good. It was moist and tender, and not drenched in ketchup. The mashed potatoes were decent. The corn fritters were mid. I've saved the best for last - the friend squash was awesome! It was, if I'm honest, the star of the show. For $9.99, just under $11 with tags, tax, and title...yep, I'm in on that deal. The real star was the service. If you can find better service in Greeneville, let me know where it is. The cashier/waitresses were incredibly helpful and recommended things to this newcomer to the place. Will I be back? Um, maybe tomorrow, but if not it will be soon.

The few times we've gone for dinner here were pretty good experiences. The food, service, prices,…read moreand specials make this a good choice for a dinner out in Greeneville. They have both dinner and drink specials with a large menu for both. Their house margaritas are really tasty and on occasion they're priced at $1. What's not to love about that! The food is good with some dishes being better than other, but the menu is large so there is a lot to try. They have half priced appetizers twice a day and I keep promising one day I'll get there at the right time and just orders apps. I've tried the Chicken Wonton Tacos and the Chicken Quesadillas and both were delicious. For entrees, my husband gets his favorite every time, the Riblet Platter, and the last 2 visits they had this dish as an all-you-can-eat special. They offer 2 different BBQ sauces and the spicy one is crave worthy. It comes with fries and coleslaw which are okay, but the coleslaw is a bit dry and bland. They had an all-you-can-eat special on the Chicken Tenders Platter also, and I gave it a try. The chicken was edible, but it was definitely overcooked and the breading made it taste very processed. Pass on this unless you're a chicken nugget junky, because they offer far better choices. The Double Crunch Shrimp is amazing! Nicely crunchy and the shrimp was perfectly tender and juicy. It was a big portion of shrimp and I was completely satisfied. I ordered broccoli as a side and it was well cooked and hot. The Classic Chicken Parmesan is pretty good but not off the chain. The sauce tastes like a high-quality jar sauce so it's a respectable version of an Italian classic. The Spinach + Artichoke Chicken Penne is a bit disappointing. The chicken is dry and the sauce is bland. It needs way more spinach, artichoke, and parmesan and less overcooked chicken. It had some chopped tomatoes which were a bit mushy and didn't add anything to the dish. The service is always pretty good, even on busy days, and we only had to wait once, very briefly, to be seated. It's a noisy place, so be prepared for that, but the atmosphere is fun and lively. All in all, especially since the restaurant choices in Greeneville are very limited, this restaurant is a good choice for any occasion.

The new California chicken salad had no avocado as was advertised on the site. My new strawberry chicken salad was basically a half head of lettuce chopped three ways and dumped into the container. Half of the salad was wilted, brown or lettuce core (white) pieces. Our chicken wonton order had the shells very soggy they broke apart. My spouse stated the grilled chicken tasted like it was from a bag. Not ordering these items again.
