My husband and I ate lunch at Texas Roadhouse today, and we very pleased. The food was fine, but the biggest shoutout has to go to our server Westin. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything. He kept drinks filled, and was the most attentive server we have had in a long time. Came here to say tonight to celebrate my wife's birthday. We did the early check in from the app. Only had to wait about 5 minutes before getting our table. Our waitress (Saydee) was very polite and efficient. She did a great job providing servicing for us. The food came out and was cooked to perfection. It was delicious. We have visited the Greeneville location in person and for takeout. Our in person visit was pleasant and we were seated quickly. Best times to visit is between 2-4pm and 7-9pm during the week. If you want takeout I highly urge you to call in the order. I made the mistake of putting my order in person on a Friday night and had to wait slightly over an hour. They were slammed with requests in-house and takeout. Other than that the food is delicious especially the rolls. read more

Didn't receive the entire order, rolls were burnt on bottom and not fresh. They must have started using baby onions for the Cactus Blossom, no way they charge $8 for that. Prime rib was too fatty for $30. A full quarter of it was fat. The fat cap is out of proportion for a quality cut of prime rib. The meat that was there was fine. Now the steak fries, they got thrown out. They were at best leftovers from lunch and died under heat or were freezer burned. The tasted stale and disgusting. No Au Jus, Jack Cheese was a puck in a to go cup. Onions and mushrooms were also in a cup. Why not send them on the prime rib? So the flavor melts together. mushrooms, onions and cheese had to be reheated. You can see in the photos the rolls we were given. I first laughed at the size of them, until my wife pointed out they were hard and stale. More lunch leftovers? Then we found out many were burnt. No issues with the other two meals. Food was good but as we were leaving two servers were making fun of one of the people in our group due to his size. We Ask for a manager and she did nothing and said nothing. The people working here should at least try and be professional even if they are too ignorant to. So if you have anyone in your party that may be heavy or have any type special need they may be made fun of or talked about so you might want to go somewhere else in order to not spoil your dinner. The manager should be removed from her job for doing nothing. read more

Most of the food seemed to be overcooked. The cheese fries were overcooked. I ordered the chopped steak medium and it was well done. The manager came around and I showed it to her. Went last night with another couple so four of us. Great across the board! Not one issue or problem with anything. Started with using app for getting in queue for table. We were seated quickly and no kidding at least four wait staff talked to us and called me by name from using the app. Love the personal touch! Rolls were hot & delish and served as we sat down! They made sure we had plenty as well! All entrees were fresh and hot. Absolutely delish! All of us loved our meals. There was salmon, Sirloin, Road Kill & smothered chicken entrees. Manager came over with our food, introduced himself and made sure we had what we needed and that everything was good. Drink refills were on point and waitress was attentive and friendly. This is only my second visit to a RH and first to this one location. We all said we'd be back and we will! read more

I've been to this location 4 or 5 times now. Food is pretty good. They cooked my steak correctly each time. The only two gotchas about coming here: (1) They use a waitlist via txt messages. God help you if you don't see that txt message... they will leave you there for 30+ mins until you ask. And they won't ask the waiting room 5ft away for you either. My advice is to ask the lazy kids at the podium about your place in line often or you won't be eating anytime soon. Waited 25 mins unnecessarily. Txt can occasionally be unreliable and used as a crutch. (2) This is a minor quibble. They are kind of pushy about making sure you wait in the wait areas. Even if you are politely offset from the doorway, they don't like you waiting there. FYI Other than that, food is good enough and rest of the staff seem polite. read more

Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the Greeneville TN location. They started off strong when they first opened about 6 months ago. We have eaten at this location at least on a monthly basis, maybe more, but service and food quality have diminished to the point I'm no longer interested in eating here. We arrived fairly late, about 9:15pm on Saturday. The store signage shows they're open to 11:00, so that shouldn't have been an issue, but regardless, the restaurant seemed unprepared. Specifically: -my wife's Jamaican Cowboy drink never arrived -her filet was ordered medium, and arrived fully gray throughout. Well done, and very dry. -my son ordered a med rare sirloin, it was served so rare it was still cold in the middle. -my other son ordered the same med rare sirloin, and it was served medium well. His loaded baked potato (which the server repeated back) was not loaded. -our server was fairly absent once she had taken our orders. She seemed sluggish, sort of inattentive. Once we had the attention of another server and the manager, Tim, suddenly she showed up asking if we needed anything, but it felt forced and not genuine. Tim brought a new, hot potato with all the toppings. He also removed the well done meal from the check, along with the drink (which never came) and the appetizer. He made an effort, and it's appreciated. But unfortunately it was too little, too late, and the entire experience has left a bad taste in our mouths. One issue is a fluke. Two is a coincidence, and three is a pattern. So, for the foreseeable future, we'll be taking our business elsewhere in hopes that management gets this under control soon. read more

We came here on Friday for lunch as we were driving thru Greenville for a weekend in Pigeon Forge with friend. At first we were reluctant to go in cause the door hours showed they didn't open up til 3.. But I ask & they let us know they were open. The 4 of us were set right away.. We all ordered the 6 ounce Sirloin meal, 3 of us getting salads & different sides & cook temps!! They brought us 2 baskets of rolls with 4 rolls each. We ask for regular butter. The rolls were nice, warm & fresh!! Then things kinda went down hill with our server. It apparent that her & two other waitresses would rather stand & talk instead of wait on their customers. The steaks were ordered medium but came out rare and when we got it back it was charred on the outside and it was chewy over cooked the second time. Waiter was great. Blane was our service tonight and he was excellent despite the busy evening they were having. At least a full house and even though our party hadn't fully arrived he was attentive and ensured we had drinks while we were waiting. The party I was with was extremely difficult and Blane handled it as best as he could, if someone from TR reads this please let Blane know he's doing an excellent job! Thanks for making my first trip an excellent one Blane Another nice gentleman's helped us out for a short moment and his name was Jeremiah! Even thought he wasn't our server he was ready to help and accommodate as much as he could to ensure the evening went smoothly.Both of these guys are what I look for. As a food service worker these guys are top notch. The restaurant was quite loud and the multiple birthdays did make for an experience where it was difficult to hear each-other at times but I feel that comes with the resturant and brand name. read more

Everything about this experience was wonderful. The music was subtle, the lighting was perfect, and the menues were accessable. The waitresses at the front greeting were lovely. Our waitress (Summer) was very attentive and on top of everything. We had our 3 children and my husband's parents with us, so 7 total and she served us all with a smile on her face. The service was very quick and the food wad amazing. The steak was so juicy and tender, the baked potatoes and salads with croutons were so full of flavor. We will most certainly be back! Was not impressed with the Greeneville, TN restaurant at all. The first clue that this was not going to be a good experience was when my wife and I walked in, along with two other couples, and the hostess (is that what they are still called?) had her back to all of us just chit-chatting with several other employees. After about a minute or so, she realized she had people waiting for her. When we were seated, it took our server quite a while to even acknowledge us at our table. Place didn't seem awful busy, mind you. After she took our drink and food orders, our salads showed up. At this point, we still don't have any bread on the table, so we ask if we are going to get some. Her response was simply that she would get us some. A bit later, we got some bread. Isn't this a staple of their restaurant brand? And how is it that our server didn't even notice that our table didn't have any? Anyway, lots more to pick nits about, but in short, our table was across from one of the server's stations where they input their orders on the computer screens. We observed not just our rather disinterested server, but almost all of the other employees that we watched during our visit including servers and the guys that bussed the tables seemingly just go through the motions of their jobs with hardly a smile or pleasant attitude to be found. Not sure who does the hiring at this location, but they should definitely do some soul searching to find some people that would actually enjoy working there, because we sure didn't see much indication of that. Also, perhaps putting a ban on using personal cell phones while on duty would help. Saw plenty of that going on as well. All in all, our experience was less than stellar from a service standpoint, and service is a big part of what makes or breaks a restaurant. read more

First off how does a steakhouse run out of fries. Second our appetizer never came out until the waiter asked if they had. It wasn't super busy for a Sunday night. Ate my cheeseburger with no fries but. Had my tater skins that finally came. Waiter was at least apologetic. No manager came over to see if all was ok. app was free but still paid $80 plus tip. Happy that this restaurant opened here. Our meal was great, service was good, but they need better desserts. We ordered 2 desserts to go. They were horrible. The apple pie was a bad, cheap, generic, flavorless piece of pie. I can't believe they actually sell that with their restaurant name associated with something that bad. It went in my garbage can.
