This place is awesome! Best Grilled Chicken Salad I have ever had. I asked the owner how the chicken tastes like that. He said they use a seasoned grill, so all those different tastes from everything cooked on the grill are mixed in. That taste really popped! And the vegetables were super fresh. I even enjoyed the bacon bits (not like me). I preferred the Thousand Island dressing over the Italian dressing for this meal. I didn't eat the egg (I only eat scrambled eggs). The second trip was more of a breakfast meal and also very strong. Super-fresh fruit, eggs cooked very well done as requested, good bacon, and quality toast. I would give the first meal a 10 and the second meal a 9.4. Both incredibly high. The staff is very friendly, the prices are fair, and they will accommodate anything you want that isn't on the menu as long as they have it. Highly Recommended!

Half BLT

Lovely diner with delicious food, friendly staff and a homey vibe. We stopped in a little after 11 on a Saturday, and had a short wait for lunch. After being seated, the staff came over and let us know the kitchen was switching to lunch, which we planned to get. I opted for the Light Lunch, with a half BLT and cup of chicken noodle soup. My partner ordered the Ruben with sweet potato fries. They are definitely worth the small up charge! We ended with a slice of homemade carrot cake which was large and delicious. We ended up bringing half of it home.

Breakfast Burrito

This place was absolutely incredible! I decided to have breakfast here my first morning in Bryson City and I was not disappointed. Wait time wasn't bad at all for a Saturday morning. Service was absolutely impeccable-- I've never been treated so well at a restaurant before! I decided to order the breakfast burrito while my partner got the Mountain Man and both were absolutely delicious. The salsa was perfect for the burrito and the pancakes were so soft and buttery. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! we go to the Everett street dinner every time we come to Bryson! we have come 3 years in a row and this is our 1# must eat at place for breakfast! My husband gets the mountain man breakfast and it's so good so much food! two pancakes, three eggs, bacon, or sausage, hashbrowns, and biscuits gravy he loves it and eats it all the man who runs the restaurant is so welcoming and kind he checks on you and will even help place your purse on the convent purse hooks at the table he asks if you've come for anything special and if so he will congratulate you by announcing it to the whole diner we go every year for our anniversary and we always leave with a sticker or a wooden coin and a full and happy belly it's a place that feels like home and is always so welcoming

A Bryson City staple. Always busy. Efficient. And with personality. Coffee was acceptable. Biscuits and gravy was sour. Ordered bacon and got sausage but they brought the bacon quickly. Worth a visit but not a return.

The service was excellent and the Diner Club sandwich rates 5 stars by itself. The toasted sourdough bread made the sandwich.

Both the service and food were amazing. My wife and I split one of the combo breakfasts and it was almost more than enough food for two.

Service was excellent, my order was taken quick and my meal delivered even quicker. The cakes here are sweet, delicious and bigger than your face. I added Strawberries sans whipped cream and a side of bacon for some fatty protein. This is prolly the largest diner I have ever been to. Seating is plentiful, the decor is cute and not too disruptive, and the breakfast bar has a telly. There is even a pink Caddy that serves as a table for that unique dining experience. I didn't have time to stop and shop but The Sunlight does have a gift shop tucked in the corner. I will definitely come back when I next visit. The hospitality of the staff here is off the charts!

Food: Diner food with all day breakfast. Chicken and waffles were good thought the waffles were a bit crisp. The Avocado Benedict was good but the Avacado was a bit too ripe. The Ruben was okay and had a feel of a sandwich I could make at home. The good thing is that it is open late and a good place to come after Dollywood if you didn't stuff yourself there. Service: Great service with constant drink refills coming. Attentive server and efficient service. Ambiance: Super fun diner feel and I am sad we didn't get the convertible car booth.

Great little place off the busy parkway. My wife and I walked down for dinner (okay, she walked, I…read morerolled). Great Chicken Salad Sandwich and Cher's Salad. Oh, I hate limp, doggy fries, but these were super crispy just like I like 'em...so extra points for that small detail. I usually comment on the wheelchair accessibility of places I review. The FBT wasn't huge, and one might have a bit of difficulty navigating. BUT, the hostess was shap as a tack and seated us in a nice nook where the chair fit with no problem. So I loved that, naturally. I have had some try to seat me in an area where no wheelchair could fit. That was appreciated. Speaking of sharp staff, our server, Brianna, was just super friendly from the get-go, and made us feel right at home. Our order was out to us in a jiff. I recommend highly. I may have to go back for a t-shirt . ( Oh, and check out the homemade ice cream place next door.). Incidentally, as we were leaving to walk back to our hotel, a fierce storm blew up sending us to take shelter under the portico of the near-by LeCinte Center. So...a romantic little mini adventure.

They taste greatz kinda like small mozzarella stick nuggets. We ordered four plate: grilled cheese, plain cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich, and B.E.L.T. (bacon egg, lettuce, tomato). Fries all the way around. They were well-cooked crinkle fries, and well seasoned too. I had the B.E.L.T. which was great. In fact, all of the food was ideal and fresh. Between the flawless, quick food, and cleanliness, and the service I am missing nothing. Kylie was super nice and always there when we needed her. Overall, this place is a winner. Simple menu, all-day breakfast, and convenient location. Definitely worth checking out.
