    Greek Feta Salad

I ordered this Greek salad through DoorDash. It was pretty good overall, however I wish it came with more dressing. I made my own dressing at home to add to it. Other than that, the ingredients were fresh and the overall flavor was really good.

    Beef Shish Kebab absolutely delicious

Fabulous experience ordering DoorDash. I could not believe they gave me 4 large pita bread halves for one kebab plate. Roasted red pepper dip was fresh and delicious and perfectly garnished. The Greek salad was also so fresh. The garlic sauce was to die for. The meat was mouthwatering!!!! I will definitely be ordering again. Probably the best Mediterranean food I've ever had!

We visited Zara's for a weeknight family dinner a couple of weeks ago. When you walk in you can tell the restaurant ambiance is relaxing and you can tell the establishment is very clean. The service was excellent and the waiter took great care in explaining menu options, giving recommendations and ensuring my gluten allergy was accommodated. All of our food was delicious, we will definitely be back!

Nice restaurant , music was a little loud, but nothing that interfered with conversation. Food was excellent. We had three different types of hummus. Euro meat with what appeared to be fresh pita bread, it was still hot! Service was a little slow, but nothing to be concerned about.

The food is great! Everything that we ordered is all on point. The traditional hummus, fried kibbeh, beef and lamb shish kabob and even the swamarma lover platters are good. The server is attentive and friendly.

Ordering food delivery is always a crapshoot. You read the reviews knowing sit in service is often different from to go or delivery service, but you take the chance. The lamb chops were a bit fatty and overcooked, but flavorful. They also were not as meaty as those pictured by eat-in diners. The rice was a bit dry. The salad was good, but thankfully I had my own utensils, as the requested utensils and napkins were not included. As they were delivering to a hotel, that should have been double checked. I really wanted to love this meal after all the glowing reviews. If in the area again, I'd try dining in to see if I can experience what the other reviewers have. I just can't recommend them for delivery. Not today.

The food was flavorful and exactly what i was craving. The soft, warm pita bread with my hummus really hit the spot. The meats were seasoned well, but I wish the chicken was a little , but it was seasoned well. We were promptly greeted and seated upon walking in, and our orders taken shortly after. Our waiter was very nice and helpful with answering our questions regarding the different menu items. The atmosphere was casual with a with a unique and colorful Mediterranean flare. Can't wait to try this place a second time.

We have been here 4 -5 times and I love the interiors and the back ground very attractive. Another plus is to have a prayer area in here. I would take this review today as an opportunity for the restaurant to improve on the taste of their food. We ordered the lentil soup which was ok but needed some salt and we could add it and they did bring us the salt and pepper. We also ordered the Salmon which was not as juicy as usual and the chicken kubeidah were really not good. It was so much like a leather texture and can not even break it. Very dry and I can say I have never had such terrible preparation. Salmon I understand is usually dry at most places but they used to have a very flavorful and moist ones before.. but even that was not he best and I could accept that.. but the chicken kubeidah needs some major changes in the preparation or maybe it was just too old...

We also had the Chana Masala, this is the best Chana I've tried, so garlicky, so good, the chickpeas had the perfect texture as well, again mild on the spiciness, just great. We also had Chicken Szechuan chaomein, great noodles, the Szechuan flavor on this dish was just spot on. We came a little earlier and there was already a long line. I heard that if you order in advance, you can skip the line. While you wait, the employees walk around and you can order a drink. Which is nice if you're waiting a while and it gets hot. The employees were all very nice and ambiance is how you would expect a regular bbq restaurant to be. There are plenty of seating outside but limited inside. The seats are all first come first serve, so usually the inside seating runs out first. We ordered 1/2lb ribs, 1/2lb brisket, 1/2lb sausages, and some sides like Mac&cheese, beans, loaded potato, cobbler, etc. total was about $120 after tip. The food was very delicious and worth the drive. Although, I will say that it doesn't taste that much different from my other favorite bbq restaurants. I was still a great experience and very delicious. I highly recommend to try if you're in the area.

Since they were awarded their Michelin star, I've been wanting to try CorkScrew... in particular,…read moretheir beef rib. Beef ribs are my go to bbq protein, and not many places have them. I've tried those deemed "the best," including Salt Lick in Driftwood and Killen's. So how did CorkScrew measure up? In addition to the beef rib, we tried the moist brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. We also tried several sides, including those recommended in the Michelin review: potato salad, mac and cheese, smokey beans, and coleslaw, and I picked up a peach cobbler, as well. The beef rib: STELLAR. This was outstanding with its flavorful bark and an impossibly tender texture that truly melts in your mouth, unlike any other beef rib I've ever had. Easily the very best beef rib, without a doubt. The brisket was delicious, as well: tender and flavorful. The sausage was nothing special... on par with sausage elsewhere, as was the pork. As for the sides, I've never been a fan of beans, but since the Michelin review specifically mentioned them, I gave them a try. I'm a fan! I would definitely order these again. Their smokiness is gently tamed by a touch of sweetness. The rest? Very average. The mac and cheese tasted like the stuff I had in my elementary school cafeteria - very un-special. The potato salad was salty and was missing any semblance of potato chunks. The texture was oddly like lumpy mashed potatoes. But the other surprise for me: the cobbler. This was simply and divinely perfect with crisp, sweet buttery crumble. A wonderful way to end a hearty meal. I'm so glad I ordered our food online for pickup. When I arrived at 1pm, the line was wrapped around the building. Pickup was very easy: I texted them when I arrived, and they replied when they were ready for me to go in and retrieve it. But even if there wasn't a line, I would never eat there: the restaurant is too divey for me: very rustic, picnic-like feel both inside and out, and it was uncomfortably warm and humid (again, inside and out.) The staff was very friendly and cheerful. Glad i tried it, and when i get a hankering for a good beef rib, this is definitely where I'll be getting it!

Actually, they have a good size menu and have some American options along with juices and smoothies so It made ordering easy. They also have a full bar with several cocktails and mocktails. Their happy hour ends at 6pm, but I arrived at 7pm so I ended up missing the discounted drinks. I ordered the cod and shrimp pita which ended up being slightly different than the regular gyro. I had to set it down after a couple of bites since the wheat pita bread is much thinner than regular pita bread and it kept falling apart on me. I also added a mango mojito. With a name like Island Grill, I sort of expected to see more tropical drinks or rum-based cocktails show up on the menu, but this was about the only one. Overall, my experience was okay, but I don't know if it was good enough for me to return.

But after that, I have to say that I will say that I like how quick the service was. You can see them making your food fresh after ordering and I appreciate that they tried to move quickly because there were people going in and out on the Saturday afternoon I was there. I personally don't like the thick bread and prefer the pita pocket style of rolls, but that's just personal preference. So I'm not even counting that part of the review. Because I expected it to have the thinner bread, I asked them to cut it. I usually like to have my sandwich cut in the middle, so I can eat half of it while driving since I'm almost always on the go. When they cut half of the sandwich, the aluminum foil bits were inside of the sandwich and that was really annoying because I had to pick off almost half of the sandwich from the ends of the sandwich just to make sure I didn't eat any bits of aluminum foil. I would ask them to either cut sandwiches in half separately before wrapping or have better quality aluminum foil (You can see the aluminum foil in the pictures). The sauce and meat was good and the veggies seemed fresh. I'm not knocking this place down, I'll definitely be back to try out again but just something to be aware of. I think the gyro wrap might just be growing on me. All in all, if you like a fluffy, smaller sanplacedwich like they do up north, instead of a longer shawarma wrap, definitely try this place out!
