On my last visit to Zara, I was treated with total indifference and disrespect. I tried to exchange a defective item, but no one listened or cared to understand. They told me to resolve it online, where I was told only the store could handle it. In the end, they bounced me back and forth. The male section employee with "short hair" was extremely RUDE, and I felt discriminated against. I felt pushed out of the store. I ended up buying another piece and left with both, but I will never return. You need to review your staff. As a loyal customer, this was the worst experience. No solution. No care. Just neglect.

I was discriminated against and was not allowed to return a defective item even though it was within the 30 day window. I bought a pair of defective heels and management refused to return it and made it seem as if I was the cause for defect. I only wore the heels one night then noticed they were defective. I work full time and I am a full time grad student, at the time when I bought the heels I was in an accelerated summer session so I literally had no time to go to the store. When my semester was slowing down, I was lucky that there was two days left before the end of the 30 day mark. Management initially gave me customer service number but because I work 9-5, I wasn't able to get ahold of them due to their hours of operation. When I contacted customer service next day, they ask if it was online or in store purchase, to which I told them in store. Without asking for any additional information they said we only handle online orders and told me to go back in store and talk to a manager. I returned to the store where they continued to tell me they don't handle products that are defective. Then one manager told me I defected it because I wore them once. Which is against their policy (I will attach a picture of their policy that states that if you wear a product and notice a defect to take it into the store). There's no way one night of walking in these heels would cause for the heel cap to come off. There was no adhesive on the heel cap. Then I reached out to the customer service again and I will post what they said.

This is my least favorite Zara location. It's so bright and doesn't feel welcoming at all. Haven't found any nice clothes at Zara in years. The quality went way down and the price up. Used to love Zara. Hopefully the selection and quality will improve.

The customer service is top notch - they're friendly, know their products, and can give good advice on what to pick based on your needs, and the kids' ages/interests. For winter holidays, they have both Christmas and Hanukkah themed gifts (clothes, pajamas, knitwear). They carry Mini Rodini, one of my favorite kids brands. They get bonus points for being well staffed - having enough staff to give 1:1 help to customers even during the holiday rush. Great hours, they open early enough that you can grab a gift before brunch or whatever else you have going on for the day. These people are a godsend. I'm rating this best kids store in L.A.

The woman behind the counter was very helpful in pointing out a variety of potential options and then gave me time and space to browse. I love that they carry some clothing and books that are more local to LA, which made the gifts feel more unique and personal in a way. I would also much rather support local shops than massive e-commerce companies. So, I'll be doing more gift shopping here in the future!

And asked the cashier to please use my phone number so that my purchase would be registered to my account history.. Long story short, he didn't. And it caused a disaster !! And instead of taking accountability as a store employee made a mistake, the manager blamed me!!! Fast forward to today 1/26, as I proceed to return the item as it didn't work out for me. The original tags were still attached.. The manager Arely was disgusting rude, as I was never given the receipt and didn't know the exact date that the purchase was made. Although she could tell the item was newly purchased, in fact it was new item that had just come out. She blamed me the customer, stating that I should have been aware of what card I used to make the purchase. Like who shops and remembers exactly what card they made a purchase on? Instead of holding the employee who didn't use my customer account accountable, she blamed me, stating that if I didn't know the registrar it was purchased on, and the day and time, that I had to keep the unwanted item. Instead of offering me a store credit. She made me wait about 45 minutes pretending to look for the item in the backlog. When in fact a portion of the time she was upstairs walking around ... Not to mention, I have a disability, and my body became faint and I almost passed out waiting for her. I had to actually sit on register top because she was intentionally taking so long walking around upstairs. The way she spoke to me was disrespectful and disturbing. Not once did she apologize for the employee not properly checking me out.. She in fact became indignant in her efforts to blame me! Not sure how she is in a managerial position, as the employees at the registrar exercised more professionalism and courtesy than her... She needs to be fired immediately!
