I discovered Zara a few years back and absolutely love this place! This is one of the only places that I buy my clothes,shoes and handbags. They also have a awesome children's department and my boyfriend is now a fan of Zara and does a lot of his shopping here too. They have the cutest shoes,handbags and scarves and everything is reasonably priced. They have great seasonal sales here too! If you sign up for their email list they will send you information on when they will have a sale and you can find some great stuff! I recently purchased a handbag that was originally priced around $100 for about $30!! LOVE IT! The staff here is awesome and I have never had a problem with anyone being rude or snooty to me. Employees here yesterday were very timid and not welcoming. Several people were complaining about the rude staff gentleman who wears a ponytails demeanor and tone as he yelled at customers to go in certain directions in the store! ( perhaps place a sign as where customers should be going ?!) Lady in Back registered in men's around 2pm yesterday just as rude. Very rude and also not welcoming. Will not shop here again. Love this place from Spain :) Discovered it in Munich first. Great style, good prices, great sales, good quality. More personal: they have long pants for my height (6ft) and enough items that fit my wide hips/ small waist. They have slim cut items too. I love all the colors. Very pretty and different things. I was in line to do a return and the cashier who became available suddenly got distracted by another employee. Matthew jumped in and said "hi how can i help you?" To me! Just like everyone else on here - cute clothes, worst customer service. And it bums me out because I love the clothes in Zara and there aren't any other locations in Austin! Is it really that hard to find people who can at least fake liking their job? I have shopped at this Zara quite a bit and every time, never get offered any help during the process. The selection of clothings was alright. The men's section was tiny. Sizing at Zara can be a little weird so try on multiple sizes.

the clothes are cute, the management at this particular location is absolutely HORRIBLE. I have been a retail gm for 17 years, most recently for 8 in downtown Chicago....what i experience in this Zara location would not fly in any of my stores.... I was the first client on a week day, four associates on the floor and NOT one to get help while undressed in the dressing room and in need of a size...when I approached the register to purchase a dress i asked if it could be steamed ( again , only client in the store and at least three associates now that i could see), the answer was NO. So i left.... The merchandise is never steamed and looks a mess....the least these people could do is steam a dress i needed ready to wear....ZARA at the DOMAIN, whomever your store manager or Dm are....shame on you for collecting a paycheck without doing your job....its called customer service....ever heard of it?????? read more

Well... I'm a guy... and I'm 5'7... The shirts hang to my knees, the pants are 4 inches too long and they dont have different lengths to chose from like other stores... Anyways, I still like the clothes and they have some GREAT deals that I wouldn't mind having altered... Biggest complaint it the staff... I have been in there 5 times and NEVER has anyone said "hello" or tried to help me... The clothes are trendy but the staff doesn't dress the part either... I am a teacher at a trade school and I even took my students there on a customer service "field trip" to give them an example of how NOT to treat your guests.... It was great because they were equally as unfriendly as before (mens and womens side)... This is sad... In todays economy these places at least need to say hi... This review means a lot to me because I'm the kinda person who HATES being harassed and followed around a store while shopping, but I at least expect a hello can I help you find anything ONCE!!! I was given apparently false info about their holiday return policy. When trying to confirm, the cashier answering the phone had no idea about their return policy and made no attempt to resolve the issue. Bought a cute top on my lunch break yesterday for a thing this weekend. I just wanted to browse and they gave me space which is always great. 4 stars because I had to go buy a new bra to go with the top. Not really their fault, but there wasn't much cute summer stuff in large so I had to compromise. The employees are great, I wish they had more stock. read more

I've been to Zara's in lots of cities, Zara DOMAIN is by far the worst Zara I've ever experienced. I regret I even have to give one star. WORST customer service ever. Long lines, one person working, very rude, terrible return policy. I used to love Zara but they've become terrible especially this DOMAIN location! My dad bought me clothes for Christmas that didn't fit. I went into the store at the Domain location and I was told I needed the receipt. I told the store that my dad lives in Seattle and bought me the clothes, and he has the receipt. They said to have him send it to me and I could return the items. I got my dad to send me the receipt and went back to the store for the return. After searching 20 minutes for parking, I found the line had 12 people in it, and ONE person working. (All other counters were closed--I checked.) This person at the desk was responding to customer inquiries, handling lost & found inquiries, signing for deliveries, answering the phone, and checking people out. After waiting in line for this return, I asked the person (last name Dove) to return the clothes. I was told I could not return the clothes without a physical receipt. I explained the story again, that my dad lives in Seattle, that he bought me the clothes for Christmas, that I had been in the store before, that the person told me to ask him to text me a picture of the receipt, and now I am here to return the items. I was told (very rudely) that there was nothing they could do. I asked to talk to a manager. The person radioed to someone and asked if items purchased in store could be returned without a paper receipt. I was told said "no" again. I asked to speak to a manager (surely this was a misunderstanding). I was told "no it's against our loss prevention policy" as if I stole the items. I again asked to return the items and was told no. I left. Bad customer service, bad staffing, bad policies. read more

I spent 30 minutes looking around the store and the staff started a room for me. continued to shop another 30 minutes and they had put someone in my room with my stuff. went back to try on and had re-shelved my selections. i went to get them off the shelve and returned to them having re-shelved selections again. went to ask an associate about a style and size and she just stared at me like i asked her to explain quantum physics. seriously retail can be a fun and friendly job, but the staff here can give two poops about the customers... read more

I would give this store more stars if only it were clean. There are SO MANY dust bunnies in the dressing room. One time I accidentally dropped a top on the floor, and when I picked it up it was completely covered in disgusting dust bunnies. When I went into the dressing room today, my little room had two large dust bunnies, and I started sneezing like crazy, and my nose started running. If they vacuumed the dressing room once in awhile I would give this place another star. Their return policy has changed in recent months. One can only exchange, they no longer allow returns. And you can only exchange for the same item in a different size. THAT'S IT! And if you lost your receipt then forget it. You can't do anything at that point. read more

So I bought 600.00 of gifts from here. The next day I had to exchange one item. Almost everything I had bought now was 50% off. I ask the manager about this she said I could not get a credit for the difference. They would not return it the same day for the discount too. This place has the WORSE customer service ever. My friend bought a dress from them on Saturday and it cost a pretty penny... She wore it out that night and the straps broke! She called them to see what her options were before we went there... When we got there they caused such a big fuss and turned what should have been a 5 minutes transaction into a 30 minutes transaction. It was awful. The lady at the front countertop didn't even care to help us; she literally moved like the sloth in Zootopia. I will NEVER go back to this store again. Buyer beware. Never knew I had to check the clothes I buy so they could mark the receipt if the item had scuff mark from falling on their floor. Just bought the item earlier in the week, still had tags and receipt. Couldn't use so was going to return but was told not sellable even though they sold it too me that way. Feeling robbed. I purchased a bottle of cologne from the domain location when i went to my car to open i realized the bottle was completely empty. I then went back to the storefront with my receipt and the bottle and spoke with the assistant michael he evaluated it and said he didn't know what to do because he's never seen this happen so he referred me to corporate. I contacted corporate sent pictures and receipt along with a description of everything that happened, they contacted me and said that the purchase is final because there was not enough evidence. i tried reasoning with them and asked for some type of reimbursement i got no apology just the same response as if i was talking to a robot. don't buy any boxed product from this company there is a chance that you could be paying for just the box. read more

Zara is a true gem in the DOMAIN stores. The staff between the mens/womens is friendly and knowledgable of fashion. The mens though a little smaller seem to be more eager to help than the womens department. The associate, Dustin, brought me options i would not had thought about. The cashier, Edith, was a little slow, but she was pleasant and accurate. My wife shopped in the womens and was a little dissapointed that I was helped so much. The associates helped her, but she felt it was "just enough" Overall, our experience was great. One thing, they should dress the females associates as well as the mens associates. We will be back despite some of the reviews. Get a grip guys/gals! read more

I like this store. It's the European version of Express, except their fabrics feel less cheap and their clothes look less tacky. Maybe it's the lighting? I loved all of the clothes in there and their organized store was a welcome relief after the chaos of Forever 21. There were very few people in the store, which was also nice. Didn't browse through the men's half of the store, but from what I glimpsed, they have a ton of suits. read more

I first went to Zara in Spain and was ecstatic that they built one in Austin. They have great clothes at great prices. Recently my fiancee bought his suits there for himself and the groomsmen. They didn't have all of the sizes in stock that we needed and they weren't available online so the lady (Elisa?) wrote down what we needed and watched every shipment until they had everything we needed and called us right away. I was very impressed. I realize it's a chain but I find it a nice alternative from the others. read more

I shopped hear for a few years now and I think they FINALLY fired a new staff. Geez was the service bad before. No one ever smiled or greeted me at the door. Now everyone is just so friendly and helpful. I couldn't find a size and someone ACTUALLY went to the back to look for the size for me, instead of saying, "That's all we have." Worst customer service ever, even the product quality is bad. I shopped from the store around the Christmas of 2018 got myself a fuzzy maroon sweater. Usually I know my size and with the long lines in the trial room lines I never tried it on (my biggest mistake). When I wore it 5 days ago I found 2 holes in my sweater. I took it to the store today for exchange or return. The person at the check out line asked for the receipt which I didn't had as I never imagined damage like this can ever happen. I mentioned I don't have the receipt but I can pull the proof of purchase on my credit card . Of course they do not accept that ( so convenient) , all they want is a receipt to make an exchange or give a store credit. Cashier got the manager out who in my opinion had no managerial experience and the guy from the front desk is running the circus. I could see him doing eye gestures and rolling his eyes at his manager and they refuse to help me in any manner. When I asked them what am I gonna do with a damaged sweater the guy prompted saying sorry " not a company policy ", which this dummy manager repeated after him. I am surprised that such a huge company Zara has no customer help policy . Eventually, I told him this sweater has a tag on it and clearly I never wore it, this sweater is a trash to me , so they can keep this trash . To my surprise the cashier nodded and shamelessly kept it!! Well I am never going back to store, but Ms manager a word of advice know your business well or this guy will take your position soon .. coz all these bad reviews will only affect your position. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. But anyway I decided to show up here with my girlfriend to check out the place and almost immediately I felt like the staff were a bunch of snobs. I walked into the men's section with the employee about 10 feet away from me. Not even a greeting or some offer for assistance. You serious? This is customer service 101 and you, my friend, failed. About 10 minutes later I tried to see my girlfriend try out the clothes as usual and one of the bearded guys pretty much urged me out and started talking down on me. While there's some places that will allow their significant others at least wait outside the fitting room I understand there are some that are less tolerant. But don't ever talk down to a customer without at least trying to explain to me what the deal is. And lastly right before checkout, I just watched a lady employee trying oh so hard to count coins in her head and when a customer distracted her real quickly, she nodded her head and then shook it afterwards right in front of the customer. What kind of backwards service they be training these days? I came here because I recently learned about the company in my class but man they really put a dent into my impression of them. Do yourself a favor and just order online. Even if you have the pay more, the online computer database will provide better service. Oh and when we went next door to forever 21, immediately the employee apologized for not being around when we asked for help. That's service. Take notes Zara employees because I don't know how you guys can live with yourselves knowing that you give such bad service in the name of a well prospering company. read more
