I was looking for special occasion dresses to fit my vision: refined and not too run of the mill. If you are in the same boat then start at this boutique because I have found success with two beautiful dresses from here. I love the layout of the store. I have been to dress warehouses which get overwhelming. This is a smaller boutique with dresses arranged by size then by color. The staff greets you and gets an idea of what you are shopping for. When it's time for a fitting room they take your dresses and set them inside the curtain for you. They kindly offer to help zip you up and are very respectful, never did I feel uncomfortable. Outside of the fitting room is a catwalk with a big mirror. They have an alterations person if you need one but be mindful that prom season gets very busy. The sales are final but if the dress is right then you know that won't be a problem. People told me I looked like a princess in the dresses I got from here and they made me feel beautiful :)

However, not even 15 minutes later other customers entered the store prior to the current business hours that are provided. My daughter did happen to find a dress she loved at this establishment however I chose not to purchase it because that should have been addressed accordingly. When people are charged for private expereinces that is what should be expected or don't attach a fee to the service. That also took us from initially having two associates to assist our party to only one associate until more staff showed up for work. I was able to find this dress available online and will be purchasing from there. Update: I find it funny how the owner who replied was NOT present and no one repeatedly entered and exited the building. We were all present and reviewing the dress requirements when customers of different races walked in because the door was unlocked and was never locked. Secondly no one cares what your fee is and trust you discounting the price isn't doing anyone a favor. I am not surprised that you found time to respond to my specific post. PLEASE shop elsewhere for dresses where you will be treated with respect and the owner takes accountability instead of trying to shift blame.

This quaint shop is worth the 15 minute drive west out of the downtown core of Austin, for the designer deals that you will find. THEY HAVE UNBELIEVABLE PRICES for brand new or only worn once clothing, that you would normally find in Nordstrom's, Saks and Neiman's for 10% of what it costs regularly. I was shocked at the quality of the product that this charming consignment store had. Lacoste, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, you name it.....they have it. They also have a reward program called Fivestars which gives credit and money back to returning regular customers. Hello.....bonus!!! When you first drive up it is tucked away in a brand new plaza between the Popcorn store and the hair salon. Lots of parking and the parking lot is clean. I also like that they have a traffic light at the intersection, so it is easily accessible. All you need to do is pop the address in your GPS and go. This store is super cute from the moment you drive up. Very welcoming. As soon as I walked through the doors, the staff were friendly and helpful; at the same time are hospitable and are not hovering over you, so you have the freedom to browse around. It makes for a really great shopping experience. Clean atmosphere and easy to find what you're looking for. Most consignment stores in Austin are dark and dingy. This store is new, light and airy and is extremely clean. Lots of options in all sizes. You'll want to leave with bags full. When you walk into the store there is a cute gumball machine for kids to the right and the books and toys are immediately to the left. I was sooooo surprised at all the goodies and deals I found in this store. IF YOU KNOW DESIGNER KIDS CLOTHING AND PRICING, YOU WILL BE IN HEAVEN AND YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AT THE DEALS YOU WILL FIND HERE!!! The store is extremely organized so all you have to do is go straight to the racks that are labeled in your child's size and grab what you need. Honorable mention-They also have a section on the back wall of maternity wear. So this could be a one stop shop for you. The associate wasn't very warm. My experience at other locations was far friendlier--the sales associates there wanted to help me from the beginning to find what I wanted. That said, after I started picking out some things, the associate came over and noted my preference based on my selections and offered to help me find other items to try on. While trying on the suits, the associate checked my progress and brought me different sizes and other suits to try based on things I was discovering. I was really pleased with the things she brought to me to try. In fact, it was a selection she brought to me that I ended up purchasing. The selection of two-piece suits offered various degrees of coverage and support. I didn't check out any of the one-piece swimsuits, so I cannot comment on their quality. There were many colors to choose from, but sadly the truly vibrant colors I was searching for appeared to be out of season. Items are sold separately, so it's easy to mix and match items, and even buy two tops with one matching bottom to leave with two swimsuits! While I was browsing, I heard a few people come into the store and leave shortly thereafter. I can see that this would be very frustrating if this was the routine that happened throughout the day. I imagine some people walk in and get sticker shock, so they don't stick around. I mention this because this store sells quality swimwear. If you want to spend less than $20 on a swimsuit, go to Walmart. But this store will sell you items that will hold up longer than one season and stay in great condition. I recommend Everything But Water.
