I really enjoyed the experience. It was nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of who could help me choose colors and styles that would best complement my body type and skin tone. She was also super respectful of my comfort level and was able to pick suits that would show what I wanted shown. I really liked almost all the bikinis and it was nice to have something that not everyone else has. Her styles were different and current and they were all much better quality than the cheapos I usually buy. This is a great way to treat yourself. I definitely look better in these bikinis than in my old ones- thank you Brooke! I also love supporting solo-female business owners, so that was a great cherry on top too.

SwimFreak is now our primary "go-to" for on-line/remote orders to support our open water swimming while at home on Kaua'i; and, in-store shopping for our pool and fresh water swimming while in Austin :-). When my name was called, Sabrina took me to the back with many changing rooms, she measured me, and the first bra she brought to try fit perfectly. The sizing was completely different compared to what I came in wearing, and I instantly knew I made a right decision to update my bras. I spent a good chunk of time trying various styles and finally settled on couple different ones. It was definetely worth the time and investment. I am already planning my next visit. It's never too many bras :-)

Since it's a single-seater (with an ottoman!), the capacity is far more limited than the long bench at Outdoor Voices, so if you and I end up here at the same time, we'll need to fight for it. The dresses mostly run over $100 and aren't exactly my style. The prints are mostly fun and colorful and almost 60s-70s ish. I found their sterling silver jewelry and earrings to be more interesting. They had lots of unique flower shaped earrings that ranged around $32-44. They also sell kids clothes and gifts. The interior was a little dark. The dresses were mostly made of stretchy or comfy fabric. The dresses are more casual in nature (wrap dresses, summer dresses). They also sold bathing suits for around $80. I don't know if the bathing suits are made in-house.

Lululemon's clothing items are moisture wicking which allows sweat to wick away from your body, so you do not have a totally sweat-drenched look...not pretty. I first started shopping at Lululemon 20+ years ago and I still have those pieces. Their pieces are long-lasting continue to look almost brand new. The sales staff at Lululemon are always extremely helpful. Every section you walk through folks asking if you need help...a store friendly approach. I love the messaging that Lululemon puts on its shopping bags and on the inside and outside their stores. Super positive...

Both pairs were brand new, unused, straight from the delivery box. I tried to return the larger size and was told I couldn't... because there was no RFID tag. Seriously? There were no tags on either pair when I got them--how is that my fault? The employee acted like I was trying to scam the system with used shoes, even though they were clearly unworn and just delivered. For a brand that prides itself on "premium" customer service, this was an embarrassing, inflexible, and tone-deaf response. If you're going to charge luxury prices, you better back it up with customer service that isn't robotic or accusatory. I expected better from Lululemon--won't be ordering again if this is how they treat loyal customers making honest returns. Do better.

She said she'd leave a note that since it was my wedding, and the holidays that she didn't want me to feel rushed for the return if it didn't work - I'd have until the end of January. She'd leave a note on the account. I thought she was so helpful and nice and I gushed about how I had always wanted to come in and shop local for lingeri... On January 29 I walk in and from the word go there are problems. Different lady makes a face when I tell her I'd like to make a return upon entering shop. So I explained about the conversation. She asks for a paper receipt. I was never given one - only electronic. She still seems incredulous that I'm trying to make a return. I'm just doing what I was TOLD I COULD DO! She's treating me like I'm trying to game them out of something! Luckily I was able to find the receipt in my email and she asks me for a code that isn't there. She looks me up in the system sees the date - 10 Dec - and tells me it's over 30 days sorry can't return for store credit. I reiterated about what the other lady told me and said she did - left a note on the account. There apparently is no note. She's still treating me like I'm some kind of scammer. The kicker? The robe is a L/XL and I'm 5'1 small/med. I was in such a rush on my wedding day I didn't notice she handed me a robe that was the wrong size. I was ALSO signed up for marketing emails I never asked for. Now I'm stuck with $130 robe I can't use and these stupid marketing emails for a place I'll never ever return to. All for trying to support a local business and taking what the sales lady told me as the truth. I was lied to by Underwear's staff to make a sale to a girl who was excited on her wedding day. They don't honor their word. I'll make sure to share my experience. I hope my purchase was worth the word of mouth you're going to get from it.
