They didn't have much product of what I was specifically looking for and the sales clerk recommended me to check out Le Rouge, great experience and stopped me from having to google and having to drive around. When I casually asked why they didn't have any lingerie in my size, which was supposed to be tongue in cheek, the lady was extremely rude about it. "EXCUSE ME?" A few months ago some weirdo stole all of my intimates out of my (public) laundry room. Yikes! I was so bummed out because I had spent a lot on those pieces. Underwear is not a cheap store...or so I thought. Since I thought it too expensive too completely re-stock at Underwear, I purchased cheap-o panties from the department store. They barely lasted through a month of washing! So I splurged and got everything I needed at Underwear knowing it will all hold up. The quality is what you're paying for here...panties that don't leave that icky elastic mark on your middle, frills and lace that don't lose their shape in the wash, no lines through your clothing, bras that fit so perfectly! The lost star is only because I wish they had more sizes in everything! You can always order the size you need but sometimes I'm shopping for a certain outfit or something and need it sooner.

I was hesitant on the robe and sales lady said it was returnable (store credit) if I found something else. I told her I wanted something that matched better because they did have anything that remotely matched the set. She said she'd leave a note that since it was my wedding, and the holidays that she didn't want me to feel rushed for the return if it didn't work - I'd have until the end of January. She'd leave a note on the account. I thought she was so helpful and nice and I gushed about how I had always wanted to come in and shop local for lingeri... On January 29 I walk in and from the word go there are problems. Different lady makes a face when I tell her I'd like to make a return upon entering shop. So I explained about the conversation. She asks for a paper receipt. I was never given one - only electronic. She still seems incredulous that I'm trying to make a return. I'm just doing what I was TOLD I COULD DO! She's treating me like I'm trying to game them out of something! Luckily I was able to find the receipt in my email and she asks me for a code that isn't there. She looks me up in the system sees the date - 10 Dec - and tells me it's over 30 days sorry can't return for store credit. I reiterated about what the other lady told me and said she did - left a note on the account. There apparently is no note. She's still treating me like I'm some kind of scammer. The kicker? The robe is a L/XL and I'm 5'1 small/med. I was in such a rush on my wedding day I didn't notice she handed me a robe that was the wrong size. I was ALSO signed up for marketing emails I never asked for. Now I'm stuck with $130 robe I can't use and these stupid marketing emails for a place I'll never ever return to. All for trying to support a local business and taking what the sales lady told me as the truth. I was lied to by Underwear's staff to make a sale to a girl who was excited on her wedding day. They don't honor their word. I'll make sure to share my experience. I hope my purchase was worth the word of mouth you're going to get from it.

Especially for those petite ladies. They do fittings by walk in only and it typically doesn't take too long. I had three people ahead of me and it was about 30 min wait. The best part is they review your history so you don't have to start from scratch every time. They have quality lingerie so the price matches. There are a few deals here and there. Maddie was great for everything. From the fitting to the selections brought to try on. They also made sure to fit the ones I really liked. There must have been 10 options to try on and four swim options! Sadly, swim season is almost over (note to self go in March next year) so they had limited options for my size. They took the one off the mannequin and it fit! If you've got a unique size bust and are looking for friendly people and quality options, this is the place to be.

Ok, I know what people must think. "Rating an adult store on Yelp? Admitting you go to a store like…read morethat?!?" And the answer is YES! We live in an age that people can express their true wants and desires and shouldn't be ashamed of it! And I can guarantee almost everyone I've ever met had been to a store just like this at over point or another. Now on to the review... This location is pretty convenient, located just off Lamar and Breaker. The parking lot is relatively easy to get in and out of as long as it isn't major rush hour. And one awesome thing about that is they are open 24 hours a day. So you can literally go wherever you like! They have a pretty good selection of toys, clothes and DVDs. Everything from the standard "marital aides" and "personal massagers" to the more extreme kink and fetish implements. Their voting selection is a bit small, and don't have too much for the BBW, but they have a sister store not too far away that specializes in lengerie and that stuff they recommend. Their DVD section is quite large, and offers many categories for those that either don't have access to or desire to use the Internet to stream things One of the best things about this place is actually the staff. Every time we go, they are all very welcoming and friendly. They are always willing to give advice and suggestions, and never shame or make someone feel bad about being there. Our last trip there about a week ago, we had 2 staff help us. I think their names were Crystal and Clarissa (?) and they were so incredible! Quite frankly, she has set the bar too high for any other photographer to come close to achieving. Nervous at first, the free spirited artist was able to put our minds at ease in record time (seriously, she had my wife relaxed in under two minutes and a half - yes, I am anal retentive enough to time that shit). The photographer is very personable, with a keen eye for 'just the right pose'. Reviewing the shots I was (and still am actually) amazed at how well she was able to capture the moment. Ladies - Julia is sweet, warm, and kind spirited. I do not believe for a minute she'd ever ask you to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Her dedication to art ensures you will look your best when you review the photos. She WILL make you into the cover girl you've always dreamed of being. Guys - Shhh, let the ladies work, you'll be happy you did. Seriously, kind of like a wedding the moment is all about her; let her enjoy the spotlight and you'll see just how beautiful your woman really is. They say a picture is worth a thousand words - until I met Julia and reviewed some of her work I would have agreed; but after seeing the awe-inspiring art she manages to conjure with a camera lens the only word that comes to mind is "WoW". I am typically articulate to a fault; but her work leaves me speechless - every time.

Did my google searching for photographers in Houston and contacted about a dozen. Perhaps half responded they weren't available, and half didn't respond. However, one adorable young lady in Austin (3 hours away), Julia Vie of Vivian's Muse, said she was very excited about shooting me! We exchanged several emails about the process and logistics and had an extended phone chat. My trepedation morphed into excitement and anticipation. Let's do this!! The big day! Julia shot perhaps 400 photos in an hour or so, all the while offering instruction, incredible encouragement and showing me what she had captured in her viewfinder. All with a monster camera and first class professional lighting. We shot on the couch, on the stairway, in the window, on the bed. Woah, so exhilerating! Nervousness was gone and my inner goddess had taken over. I'm not one for exaggeration but this was truly one of the best hours of my life. Back the next morning to review and select proofs. Oh no, her computer jammed up, wasn't happening. No problem in the digital age. We had more girly chat, comparing notes on all of the fun we had had the preceding day. A few days later the proofs arrived via email. I was blown away. OH MY! That cannot possibly be me. But...it is! Being a goddess, even for a short while, really gets in your head. And stays there. Who would have thought the idea of having a little fun by trying something different would turn into a life changing event? Thank you so very, very much Julia! And, girls, if you have any lingering doubts about treating yourself to this experience, all I can say is do not delay, call Julia today! Hugs, Michelle
