I like their big girl clothes options. Plus staff wear them so that's nice as well. Wish they ran their sales online in the store too.

The staff at this…read morelocation are usually high school kids, and the customer service usually isn't the best, but yesterday was a completely new level of bad. I ordered some jeans online for in store pickup. When I got there to pick them up I couldn't get help from any of the employees. Finally I waved a young guy down at the dressing room, but the young kid walked up to me, said hold on and pulled out his phone and started scrolling on his phone. I finally said " Excuse me I just need to pick up an order. He goes " Oh..." and just stood there continuing to scroll a bit longer before finally walking back to get my order. When he finally brought it back a few minutes later I told him I did need to try them on before I left, and asked for a dressing room. He said ok you're gonna have to wait. Mind you there was a cluster of people in line behind me waiting. I told him there was an empty dressing room right behind him, to which he just moved out of the way and stood there, before another girl finally walked up and opened the door for me before she rolled her eyes and walked away. I tried the jeans on, but sizing was way off. When I tried them on they fit like they were 2 sizes too big. The was the beginning of the teenage staff being beyond rude. While still in the dressing room I asked the same girl that let me in the dressing room if they had the jeans in stock in a smaller size. She asked zero questions, disappeared for a minute, came back and asked which ones they were again. Then stood there and stared at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I asked if she wanted to see the picture, and she said "sure" then proceeded to look it up on a tablet type thing. She didn't ask what size I needed and walked off again. Came back literally 10 seconds later and said " we don't have them..also you can't switch them out today you will have to come back tomorrow or something during another shift." When I asked why I needed to come all the way back another day she said " because we need 24 hours before we can switch them out for you they don't even show them in our system." Rolled her eyes again and walked away. Not sure how she looked them up in my size without asking for my size. I then proceeded to find them myself in my size. When I got to the front counter a different girl proceeded to check me out. I cannot explain how many times she just stared at me blankly after asking me a question and getting an answer or being asked a question. At one point I asked her about the 24 hour thing and she just stared at me for a very uncomfortably long time before shrugging her shoulders and saying idk but I can switch them. My encounter at this store was not only uncomfortable, and awkward but whoever is hiring the employees needs to reconsider the age requirement in which they are seeking out their employees. These kids obviously don't want to work, have no respect for anyone, and don't know how to provide customer service. The Gen Z stare I received from 2 employees yesterday was so uncomfortable I thought about asking both of them if they were ok. Definitely don't recommend this store until they get new employees, not to mention the store is always a mess in the front. Not sure what any of the employees actually do.

Kohl's - The main reason I visit Kohl's: Amazon Returns!

    Kohl's

I've been a Kohl's customer for many, many years, but no longer. I doubt I will buy anything here…read moreagain. They so rarely had my size in Levis that I just stopped looking, anyway. I can go to the Levis website and order the exact pair I want in my size and they will be on my doorstep in a day or two. So why bother coming to Kohl's anymore? Amazon Returns. A few days ago, I was here for an Amazon return and they handed me a coupon for 20% off my purchase at Kohl's. So I thought I'd use it. In a nutshell, that 20% off coupon Amazon gives you is bullshit. Allow me to explain... I went to the area where all of the men's sportswear clothing used to be to discover that there wasn't much to choose from. There was a lot of Champion gear, but their track pants felt like burlap. Seriously. Burlap. Nevertheless, I found a nice pair of Under Armor joggers. Good enough. I also found a Yellowstone board game (a gift for my parents - they love the TV show - shush, don't tell'em I got'em that until after this Christmas). My wife got some bras. So three totally unrelated items: pants, bras, and board game. While checking out, however, we were informed that we wouldn't be getting 20% off of anything because the coupon wouldn't work for the things we wanted. It says it all right there, in that tiny font wording on the coupon that no naked eye can read, the giant list of everything in the store that the 20% doesn't apply to. After I took the coupon home and put it under my microscope so I could read it, I would venture to say that the 20% off coupon does not work for 95% of the stuff for sale within Kohl's. After paying a lot more than we thought we would have to pay for our stuff, we were walking out when I noticed that there was a second larger location for the rest of the men's sportswear on the other side of the registers, hidden behind all their Christmas stuff. Silly me! Why didn't I just look behind the mound of Christmas swag back where the women's clothes used to be for my men's pants?! This store sucks. Unless there are some big changes, I doubt Kohl's will be around much longer. This place continues to go downhill, year after year. I seriously doubt that putting a Sephora in the middle of the store will save them. I remember when Blockbuster Video tried to save themselves by having a Radio Shack outlet that sold a small selection of cords, batteries, adapters, etc. in some of their stores. That did not work out for either of them in the end, and I predict history repeating itself in the end with Kohl's (Sephora may survive, though). Hopefully, by the time Kohl's goes under Amazon will have a drone service available to pick up my returns in my driveway.

This is a new location for Kohl's and is well stocked and clean compared to other Kohl's stores in…read morethe area (looking at you, Round Rock). Shelves were organized and the aisles were clear and uncluttered. Service is about average, decent but nothing exceptional. Overall it meets the standard.
