Love Zara clothing but this store is ridiculous. The dressing rooms are NEVER open so unless you wanna risk it and stand in the longest line to buy the clothes you have no idea are going to fit or not, just to have to come back to stand in another line out the door to return them it's not worth it. I don't think the dressing rooms have ever been open when I go. And the lines are SOOOO long bc of returns. Definitely avoid if possible. read more

Sharing this in hopes it gets to management. If your store closes at 8, and I'm at the checkout checking out $350 worth of clothes, and it's 7:57, don't tell me you can't check stock for one item I have in the wrong size because you're closed. Definitely don't, when I proceed to take a photo of the tag so I can look it up online, then tell me that a lot of things are only in stock in the store? I said, wait so can I have you check this one thing for me? The girl said, sorry we're short staffed as a guy stood next to her doing nothing like she couldn't have cared less. So rude and for what read more

I was SO excited to go to Zara. Until we walked inside!! The customers who go to this location throw things on the floor, don't put things back, and I will say a majority of the mess in there is from pretentious customers who think it's someone else's job. However, it's still a mess. You'll find a shirt you love in one spot and then not be able to find where the other sizes are. It was really disappointing as this is the only Zara in Austin, and it's at the Domain! Super bummed and even more reluctant to go back. I'll just shop online for now and wait for the ship times. read more

Tried to return new, unworn clothes a few days after the 30 day window and the man at the register was so rude and unhelpful. It was the worst customer experience. Will be shopping at Nordstrom moving forward. read more

Long lines all long! Rude service, especially from the sassy boy in the MENS department.

Making people wait outside for nearly an hour in 100-degree heat. I can see inside and it isn't even crowded

DO NOT GO HERE. The staff is extremely rude, the store is a mess, feels dirty, disorganized and cheap. It's like shopping at goodwill. It was shocking because we loved the brand (online) and were so excited to go into a store. We spent a long time picking out stuff to try on because it is so disorganized and scattered and everything is just on hangers squished together with no displays or organization at all. Then, it was 30 minutes before close. We went to 1 of the 3 dressing rooms, they said no you have to go to the other one. 2 of 3 said the same thing. Running in circles. Staff being super rude and short with us. Get to the third dressing room and the guy and girl working are chatting away won't even look at us. The guy put up barrier in front of us without looking at us, fully aware we were there. When I finally got his attention he said we're closed you can't use the dressing room. We've got half an hour before they close. I express to him we spent a long time picking our items out and just need 10 minutes. He says "You missed it by 5 minutes, we're closed " and turns away and starts chatting with the girl again. A handful of customers with their clothing items they had picked out just put them all on the floor and walked out. Disgusted. read more

Lines are ridiculous-mens side register almost always closed yet employees working that side. Very poorly run/manages

I have shopped at this location for the past few years. Corporate Zara always has up-to-date styles, eclectic pieces, and economical prices. At this store I typically receive average service - nothing awful but also nothing great. Last week I received service that lost me as a customer. On 2/14/18 at around 7:00pm, I stopped into the store to return 4 of 8 pairs of pants that were purchased online. I like that the Zara website offers the ability to return clothes in store because often I will look around and exchange items or see if other sizes are available. I was called up to the counter to begin my return. Instead of a smile I was greeted by "those are a bunch of returns, aren't they" from the sales associate. A dark haired male employee stared blankly at me while saying this. Caught off guard by such an unbelievably rude greeting in the retail customer service environment, I asked the gentleman how he knew that. He coldly responded "I've been doing this for awhile". As he sorted through my clothes with eyes down and face solemn, I uncomfortably stood in front of him, watching his frustrated and silent work routine. Was I inconveniencing his otherwise great workday? He glanced up and said "you know you can return these online." I was appalled. I asked him why he would say that to me. He replied "I like to tell my customers that." I left the store feeling stupid, insulted, and downright upset that this individual lacked the elementary training necessary to be able to treat a customer with decency. To the managers of this Zara location, you have an individual in your organization (for a long time apparently) who has a downright nasty side and isn't afraid to direct it toward your customers. To all the potential customers of this business, I urge you to proceed with caution if being treated with common human decency in a clothing store is on your shopping list. read more

Just experienced the absolute worse customer service I've ever seen in my life here. 2 girls working the cash registers at 1pm Oct 27. They were outright disrespectful to customers. Told a woman who waited an hour in line that she was in the wrong line and had to get back in line to do a return. It's not clear in the store that there are two lines. Another woman had a big box of returns, but was trying to exchange some stuff and she wanted to set stuff down to grab the stuff to exchange. They told her to just get in line twice. They then proceeded to openly talk negatively about the customers together while checking other customers out. They seemed miserable, helpless and overall rude. I'm disgusted by the lack of respect and care they had for the customers spending money in the store today. Do better, Zara. Your employees moving at a glacial pace and not having any regard for customers is a reflection or you and your business. Who is running this store?! read more

X was very kind and helpful. the place was swarming with people at Christmas, yet he took the time to help me find a possibly pair or sparkly boots tha ended up not existing. but he actually TRIED! And with a smile on his face. I asked if he were the manager because he seemed like it. He said no but that he wished he were. Well, i hope he is some day. Thank you for the help and kindness during such a hectic time :) read more

Bad customer service. All the workers are not nice and doesn't seemed happy to be at work. Was not welcomed once and was not talked to for 30 mins I've been in there. The customer service has a lot of work, maybe the manager is the problem because all the reviews here talks about the horrible customer service. read more

The lines are ABSURD!! The staff is constantly befuddled like they've never touched fabric. The selection very sparse and basic. Shut it down and hand over the space to a real retailer. read more

Probably the worst customer service at this store than I have experienced anywhere. I went a month ago to rerun some things. The line to return/purchase was out the door and only one sales associate checking people out. The sales lady controlling the line said that it would take one hour to get to the front since the store is an hour away it's hard to get there often so I let her know i didn't have an hour and she said to come back. When I went back again the store "director" was very rude and told me that I couldn't return anything and that sales associate was wrong. He told me that all his sales people know the policies, and he said I could not return my items. He was so cold and rude it was shocking. read more

Worst line I've ever seen in a store on a regular day. The line blocks the whole store and the worst part is they have a second part of the store with registers that are not used. read more

Terrible store! I know they try hard but it's not laid out well, they need more room and more clothes. They have hardly anything from the website. And no one can help bring you another size. And the sizing is so crazy!! No two items fit the same. read more

Super rude staff, very long lines. Save your time and shop online. Very gendered in how they treat costumers- not safe for non-binary folks.

Customer service and people were nice and willing to help! Wish the store was colder and bigger! The line was so long since they only had two cashiers. read more

This Zara absolutely sucks. I waited to try on clothes for 20 minutes, and another 20 minute line to check out. There's so many employees walking around but only 1 available to check out clothes and 1 is solely doing returns. Also saw several of these employees on their phone just standing around??? The store is so messy and it also smells terrible in here. Will not be shopping at this location ever again. read more

My fathers' card was stolen at lunch- we got a notification it was running here. he had 3 cards run here with no concerns or questions from the store. We are here at 8:44 talking about the situation. The doors are already locked (when stated to close at 9 pm. manager let me in to talk about it. They have no access to cameras- only cooperate does. You would think there is a concern or training policy to check ID work multiple cards. I wouldn't trust this store. read more

Just learned this is a favorite of my college twin granddaughters. Gift cards for Christmas!

I have shopped at Zara all over the world and I have to say this store is horrendous. They need to put more staff on as you line up every time for min 30 mins. Then once you finally reach the check out the customer service is just plain bad. I have no idea how they sustain a business the way they run the Domain location. Everybody says the same thing. Awful. read more

Under staffed, long wait in and out of the store, esp sales season. Wait line for checkout averaging 30 min, at least

Every shirt I tried on in the men's section (dress shirts, polos, t-shirts) were 100% cotton, which in itself is not a problem. What is not apparently clear is that "none" of can be put in a dryer. This is not printed on the long tags inside each shirt, it is one of the many icons which depict what is NOT acceptable when caring for it. Bought two polos and they shrunk by an entire size in the dryer. By comparison, my 100% cotton Bannana Republic shirts have not shrinked in the months that I have had them. They must not prewash or something common across every other shirt brand that I have purchased. Secondly, I bought a denim jacket there this summer which I have not worn. I just discovered a dime size hole in the arm-pit area of the inside of the jacket. Ps. The extremely long tags must still be on the shirt if you want to return it. This is also a near necessity if you want to wear a shirt. What this means is that you forfeit the option to return anything if a problem develops the first few times you use it, if you make the alteration to make it comfortable enough to use. Men, just go somewhere else, maybe BR. Zara charges as much as anywhere else and the quality is shite. read more

Smallest.Zara.EVER. Staff are ok, but considering the lack of parking and location, this Zara is literally a 1/4 size of every other Zara I've visited. U can see the entire store from the doorway. There are only 3 dressing rooms. Not worth it. read more

Horrible experience. Everything started out A-OK. Great staff, the two gentlemen helping me were kind, and eager to help me with my new look. A stroll around the store, a pile of items to try on, and a trip to the dressing room... seems normal right? Nope. While I was in the dressing room, my partner notices the staff having a very loud pow wow regarding me being in the men's dressing room. "Girls ARE NOT allowed in the MEN'S dressing room" says the female manager to the staff. As I come out of the dressing room, I realize there is an issue, but quickly think - It's not my fault, I am shopping in the men's department store, and the sales associate is the one who brought me to this room. Now it's awkward, and I decide to stop trying on the clothes. I make my way to the women's department where my partner is trying clothes on and the attendant stops me and tells me I can't go into the women's dressing room. WTF? Now I'm upset, confused and the staff is just totally rude. It was like "buy our clothes but you can't try them on because your a lesbian" HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. This was the managers fault and the employees on the women's side. Like I said earlier - the two men who helped me first were great. read more

God, finally an alternative to that store people call Express. Kidding, of course because I am one of the guilty participants who shop at Express, but hey I shopped there way before it became overpopulated. When first I saw Zara, I didn't even think twice. It was a store in the DOMAIN shopping center, there's no way that I could afford a single piece of clothing there. Alas, I was wrong. From my visit, everything was pretty similarly priced to Express. What I loved more at Zara was its selection of jackets. It had all different types of coats/jackets, which I had been on a treasure hunt for a jacket with the military-type button on the shoulder of the jacket. This store boasted many. It wasn't just plain black either, brown, jean, dark jean, tan, dark grey, I don't even know how to describe the patterns --- I'm just saying they got selection. There jackets were $30-$60 which is something I don't see very often at other places. To get off this jacket rant, the store was so much more diverse than say Heritage/Banana/Express. I felt like it combined a little bit of everything. Nice dress shirts, fitted well-made jeans, but ANOTHER fav of mine was the accessories. Yes, Men DO accessorize, I am not ashamed to admit it. They had scarves, arab scarves, belts, argyle socks, cool hats, etc etc. No I do not work for Zara and I know I sound like I am hardcore endorsing this place --- I'm just saying, definitely try this place if you're looking for a new place to get some pimped out clothes, so you can stop worrying if somebody else is going to be your twin when you go out. read more

Wish I could give this place zero stars. The line is SO long always, and they only keep two registers open for sale. There are plenty of staff people circulating, they could open another register. I would like to preface this review by saying that if it is Zara policy to employ 3 people to hang out with the cashier to ensure that they never get lonely, then you can consider this a 4 star review. If that is not the case, I find it highly irritating that not a single one of the employees in the mens section who were engaged in a full force brodeo stopped to offer myself (or any other customers in the mens section) any sort of assistance. That aside, the clothes are stylish, of decent build quality, and are reasonably priced. The sizing is a bit odd, but that's not a problem as long as you have an employee to assist you... oh yeah. read more

The store is amazing. Clothes are also amazing. Customer service is PERFECT! Every time I go in I'm greeted. Also I grabbed the wrong size and when I went to take it back to exchange it they were so helpful. They made sure I got the right size. They were so helpful. I love this store. read more

Love the clothes, absolutely loathe going to this store. Totally a mess, terrible operations. I waited in line for 40 minutes (not exaggerating) to return an online order in the women's department. Then, I went to the men's department, to buy one shirt I found. The men's side was empty except for one other person looking around. The register was empty, one staff person working at it. I asked to check out, she said I couldn't check out on that side, that I'd have to go back and wait in line in the women's department. So, I went back to the long line and waited for about another 20 minutes (again not exaggerating). As soon as I got to the front of that line, that same girl approached me and said I could come with her to check out on the other side. I said, "I thought I couldn't check out on that side." She replied, "this register is for me to use to help reduce the line on the other side." WHAT?! This doesn't make ANY sense. She could reduce the line by NOT sending people over to it unnecessarily and by simply helping customers one at a time on that side. I'm not sure who manages this store, but CLEARLY new management is needed. These practices are rather pathetic for a brand like this. Maybe they figure people will still shop there regardless because it's the only location in Austin area. Don't go to this store unless you have an hour of time, at least. read more

Like H&M, but more upscale, gay and bondage friendly... Thanksfully my gay buddy helped me navigate this store... I had been before to the one in Barcelona but that was more like an H&M (i.e. cheaper and with rabid shoppers) while this one had some really well-priced and nice jackets... was very pleased with both my leather and suade selections... I was tempted by a metal studded leather one, but those punk days are behind me, I'm more vanilla now... If that's your thing, they also have a nice selection of gimp masks to pick on the way out...Accessories, accessories... read more

I ordered a bunch of stuff online and used their "find my size" tool where you put in your height/weight/sizes in other brands and it recommends a size for you. Everything came in way too large (and the box was open when it arrived), so I went to return it at the store. It seemed like there were only 2 people working even though it was a Sunday, so I waited in line for a while. When I got to the front, I explained the situation and showed my receipt, and everything went fine up until the point when I got my receipt for the return and was walking away from the register to go shop. The sales associate who had processed my return gestured to the giant (now empty) shipping box and said "oh, you have to take that" so I picked it up and started to leave. When I remembered that I had wanted to look around, I went back and said "I was actually going to shop. Could I leave it here while I look around?" Without looking up at me, he said "just put it on the floor or something so it isn't in my way". I looked around for a bit, but the store was a mess and the line for the fitting rooms was long, so I left. As I was walking back to the parking lot, I saw a completely empty dumpster behind the store, which made me wonder why they couldn't bother to recycle it. I've worked retail for a long time. Accepting a return can be a bummer, especially when the customer bought online, but good service can lead to an exchange or other purchase and an overall positive experience. That and I wouldn't want customers walking around the store with giant empty boxes, at the very least for security reasons. Very odd. read more

Love Zara. Love how cheap it is. I feel less guilty about shopping here than I do other stores in the Domain. Zara treats its customers worse than any store I've dealt with. I bought my daughter a dress online from her wish list for Christmas. It shipped on Nov 9th. We went to return after Christmas in store and was told that it was too late - 30 day return policy even for Christmas gifts! I had actually looked at the receipt that came with the dress and nowhere on the receipt did it say a 30-day return. I also checked the shipping confirmation email and it didn't say a 30-day return policy even on the info about returns. The returns info on the email that confirmed shipping had like 7 steps to return a shipped item and no where did it say 30-day limit. I finally found it on the 10th page of the online T's & C's!! ASOS was giving through Jan for returns on items purchased between Nov 1 and Dec 25. Urban Outfitters is, I think, giving until the end of Feb. So, Zara is wayyy less customer friendly than those stores. The in-store employee said I had to call online shop and plead my case. So, I did and they said no too. I got escalated to a manger and the manager actually told me that the 30-day return - even for Christmas gifts - is because their inventory is constantly changing and they can't take back a dress they don't sell. So, I hopped on my computer while on the phone with her and found that exact dress for sale. I told her, "hey, you're still selling it; so, you can take it back." She wouldn't relent. She just kept repeating the same line over and over "I'll share your comments and feedback with my supervisors." So, she was a useless manager and not authorized to do anything. They stole $50 from me. I will NEVER shop there again and neither will my daughter. read more
