Whenever I'm in Queens- I stop by here for their noodles and bbq squid!!…read more Ever since I discovered this spot a couple months ago I make a point to come here any time I have the chance. It's a regular spot for me- they have very quick service and the servers are kind. With the noodle soups, you can choose the type of noodle you want with the soup. There's a decent amount of seating inside with window seating options. What I've had: -BBQ squid: MUST! my constant go to every single time!! It usually comes on a stick and You can have it made spicy where it comes with some Szechuan spices on top. If I'm looking for protein, this is my definite go to. -Signature Lan Zhou Beef Noodles: MUST!! When you go to a noodle spot, you have to get noodles! And this bowl was NOT a disappointment!! BEAUTIFUL THOROUGH FLAVOR- such a nice cozy meal and the noodles- I chose regular noodles and I added bok choy to my bowl at an extra charge. This was such a pleasure and some of the best beef soup I have had yet. Will definitely be back here.

Also it comes out pretty quickly so always appreciate that

I've had a few of their different 過橋米線 rice noodle dishes and never been disappointed. Noodles are fine, and meats are generally good quality. My favourite is the sliced beef option, and the sauerkraut blackfish 酸菜魚 is also yummy. For the soup choice, I usually get the (original) pork broth, which is savoury and not overly salty. The tomato broth is also quite yummy, I like that it brings out bit of the sweetness of the tomato to complement the other savoury flavours. The other various toppings (? ingredients), though, are generally a bit lacking. The veggies (cabbage, bok choy) are OK don't always taste the freshest. The tofu puffs always feels a bit oily / soggy. The hot dry noodles are also quite delicious options, nice for a warmer day when a large bowl of soup isn't quite what you're looking for. Price point is a bit high for the quality, but it's not too crazy for the neighbourhood. I think it's good that there's a decent rice noodle place in the area.

Everything was flavorful, well prepared, and thoroughly enjoyed by all three of us. The best part? The total was under $200, including a 20% tip, which felt like an excellent value for the quality and variety of food. The only downside was that our server spoke no Chinese and didn't seem to have much familiarity or connection with the cuisine, so it was difficult to get detailed explanations about some of the dishes. That said, the food itself absolutely delivered, and we would happily return.

My order was prepared and packaged well, although they were not very generous with the black vinegar for the XLB. The XLB were the high point: the broth was very flavorful and the pork filling fresh and tasty. The dumpling wrappers were thin but maintained their structural integrity. I enjoyed them though the portion (5 pieces) could have been bigger (6 seems to be the standard). Sadly the wontons in chili sauce were a big disappointment. They were small and didn't taste fresh. The sauce was dominated by a strong celery flavor, which I found even after adding the black vinegar from the soup dumplings was not pleasing. They bordered on being "awful!" A big disappointment given how the XLB were quite tasty, although I have had better in Flushing.

I even brought the leftover sauce with beans back even though I finished all the noodles! It was in a small food court but it was nice. The beef was generally good, quite tender overall, although some pieces were a bit harder to chew (more of the tendon or sinew). The broth was very rich and fragrant, and was a bit spicier than I expected, even though I ordered mild. The price point was great, too -- the portion size was so big and filling that it probably could have been two smaller meals. I'll definitely try to come back and try some of their other dishes!

There are seats by the stall but also a downstairs. Not reserved seating, first come first serve. And clean after yourself. Chicken was also not dry at all, but the outside had a nice crunch to it. I'd order again!

It was hands down one of the best hot pot soup bases ive ever had! There's a huge plate of chicken pieces that they throw into the pot as well as other ingredients to elevate the soup base. It was so flavorful and hearty it was my favorite part of the meal! My friends ordered the other stuff, so idk what we got, but quality tasted good. I liked that they had a sauce bar with a pretty decent variety and also a mini app section to get woodears and chips to snack on while waiting for the food. There's also grapes and oranges available to grab after finishing your meal. Staff were so attentive and friendly. They made sure to fill our broth when it started getting low!

Server recommended either the fish maw or coconut chicken broths. We opted for the coconut chicken broth. They literally just pour bottles of coconut water and then let the chicken cook in it. Makes for a sweeter meal with the coconut. Pretty solid amount of chicken for two. Veges are okay. We also ordered some bean curd and beef to top off. I felt like quantity was generally on the smaller side for what you get. Servers were nice though and always checking-in, replace plates etc. The space is big, but fills up quick. We got seated immediately a little before 6pm on a Saturday, but tons of people waiting by the time we left. I'm not totally sure I get the hype. The chicken with coconut was fine, but nothing remarkable. It was quality though and the sauce they recommend you create at the top of the sauce bar def worked well with the chicken. But I'd still probably opt for more traditional hot pot option if split broths and more red meats.

It's comforting, portions are huge, and quality is also solid. I got the tomato broth with dried beef slices and overall thought it was okay, but I think the biggest factor was that I chose the wrong protein (I mistook dried beef slices for the beef brisket you typically get from hot pot). I expected professional and respectful customer service from an establishment in New York City. I…read morehave been coming to this location for over a year, often purchasing meals for people experiencing homelessness. I have spent a considerable amount of my own money trying to help people get a good meal. I am a native New Yorker, journalist, photographer, and videographer, and I speak Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. Unfortunately, my experiences at this location have become increasingly uncomfortable and disrespectful. There have been occasions when staff appeared to have a problem with my phone being set to Japanese. I have also heard comments from staff while approaching the counter that I found extremely disrespectful. As a person of color, I found this behavior unacceptable. I have documented some of these interactions on video. I have also experienced what I believe is inconsistent treatment when picking up Too Good To Go orders. On several occasions, I showed my Too Good To Go order and was told to wait, while I observed other customers being treated differently and being given choices regarding their food. I have also experienced staff selecting a bag for me while other customers appeared to be allowed to choose theirs. I have already submitted videos and photographs concerning these experiences to Too Good To Go for review. Another concern is hygiene. I do not understand why a staff member would handle my phone to confirm my pickup and then immediately return to handling food. My phone is used throughout the city, including public transportation and while I am working. From a food-safety standpoint, I believe employees should follow proper hygiene procedures after handling customers' personal devices. What concerns me most is that these situations have happened multiple times, and I feel I have been treated differently from other customers. I have spent a lot of money at this establishment specifically because I wanted to help people who are struggling and experiencing homelessness. It is extremely disappointing to feel disrespected while trying to support a local business and help people in my community. I have posted video discussing some of these experiences, and I have documentation available. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, reviews the available information, and ensures that every customer is treated with the same level of respect regardless of race, background, language, or appearance. I came here trying to support your business and your community. I genuinely hope you choose to treat every customer with respect.
