I moved to the area recently and needed a new Chinese food spot. I called 15 minutes ahead of time for a pickup. Place is small but I had no plans on staying. Pick was easy, they take cash only and have the option of Zelle. As soon as I took a bite, I was so impressed! Food tasted fresh and it was a lot. So delicious, I will definitely be coming back! read more

Mr. Wonton - Pineapple Fried Rice (White Rice) - Chinese Near Me - Woodhaven, New York

The restaurant and the food itself are actually really good. The meals are tasty, fresh, and arrive in good condition, so I don't have any complaints about the kitchen or the quality of the food. However, the delivery experience has been very uncomfortable. On my last order, I only had $13 left in my bank account and paid $11 for the food. When the delivery driver arrived, he immediately demanded a tip. I explained that I didn't have cash, but he insisted that I send him a tip through Zelle. He stood there and refused to leave until I did it. He literally watched me open my banking app, saw that I only had $2 left in my account, and still waited while I sent those last $2 as a tip. He even checked to make sure the payment went through before leaving. I want to be clear that I do tip when I can, because I understand that delivery drivers work hard. But sometimes money is tight and people are just trying to afford food. Being pressured and essentially forced to tip is extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

I was upcharged $1 for adding broccoli to a chicken and tofu dish. Not inly have their portions been shrinking but the soup tasted like nasty tap water. I was a loyal customer but now time to find a new spot. read more

Perhaps it was my fault for trying a Thai dish at a Chinese restaurant, but my boyfriend was in the mood for some Chinese and I was not, so I ordered some Pad Thai. It was the worst rendition of Pad Thai that I had ever had. I got served a plate of plain rice noodles with 6 of the tiniest boiled shrimp, a dusting of crushed peanuts and a half a lemon. Not wedges of lemon...a half. Aren't they supposed to stir fry the noodles in some pad thai sauce or something? Maybe the cooks were high and forgot. Nevertheless, it was truly the worst meal that I ever had. The orange chicken my boyfriend had was alright, but Eastern Restaurant down a couple of blocks by the school makes much better food. read more

Mr. Wonton - The worst Pad Thai ever made in creation. They didn't put any pad thai sauce on the rice noodles. And 6 tiny shrimp. So gross. - Chinese Near Me - Woodhaven, New York

Got my order completely wrong. I ordered 7 cans of soda (2 coke, 2 Diet Coke, 3 sprite) and 5 bottles of water. They gave me a 2L bottle of Coke and no water. Didn't even come back to correct it at all. Sloppy service sloppy food. read more

My go to Chinese spot. They are always clean, courteous and fast. And when I need delivery they're always ready.

Bought through GrubHub and got a message saying it was done and ready for pick up. Once there had to wait an extra 12 minutes for it to actually be ready...foods decent but fairly annoying having to wait when they falsely said the food was ready. read more

Literally the best orange chicken I ever had! Always on point with delivery and never disappoint on spring rolls

the food was amazing considering my mother ate it all as an extremely picky eater ! Delievery was quick!

I mixed between 2-3 stars. Mr. Wonton is usually my go to neighborhood Chinese for CERTAIN dishes but... they don't take cards over the phone. This became an issue for me so I started ordering through yelp. Through yelp you pay extra for the food, charged for delivery and another fee which was ok but when I spent 19.71 and asked where was my free soda she said I had to spend 20.00.. FYI i order all the time and on the menu it's says spend over 15 get free soda. It sounds petty but it's the principal to me, I'm willing to spend a little extra, I order from there a lot and been a long time customer and always give between 15-20% tip. But I'll just go where my money is appreciated and they take credit cards and the food is good and I get a free soda weather I use credit card or not over 10.00. ‍ read more

Fast, free delivery, and got a ton of food for around $11 plus tip. Curry shrimp lunch special is huge and the shrimp are big and fresh tasting. Only minor complaint is the wonton soup; it was ok, but had no pork and didn't come with any crispy noodles. Still a good lunch (and probably dinner too). I will order again from here soon. read more

Great gem in the ghetto. Place is cleanest around by far and offer south East Asian food also. The lady at the counter is very nice and the chefs load the plates, plus the food is excellent. Would go here instead of any of the other 10 Chinese food in a few block radius. read more

Decent to low quality Chinese food, but there's a lot to choose from and the portions are ample enough. The delivery guy always greets me joyfully, although I feel like half the block can hear him when he speaks. read more

Ordered food, waited 2+ hours, and never got my order. When I called them to ask if there was an issue with my order they said they called me but I didn't pick up. When I asked them to repeat what number they called they then said that my phone number had no caller ID so they couldn't tell me they cancelled my order. Don't know why they couldn't just call me to tell me they couldn't deliver. read more

The food is cheap so the 4 stars is not due to it being gourmet or anything like that. It is tasty though and plentiful. I always have them deliver and the time is quick and the delivery guy is always polite and friendly. Perhaps overly so. I like their egg rolls and the Cantonese wonton soup is killer (in a good way). As a main dish I do switch around a lot, but I doop come back for the kung pao and sweet and sour pork. read more

Great food delivered hot and fast. Shrimp toast was delicious and not greasy. I recommend giving it a try.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Woodhaven, Jamaica avenue to be exact. The food is very good, they are fast to get it to you and overall just great service and people. If you live around the area, you will 100% not regret making this Chinese spot your #1 go to. read more

Super friendly staff, good food. Only complaint is they only take cash. Fast delivery too!

I order a Fried Chicken Gizzard it took too long and it was too greasy. I don't get screwed a 2nd time.

The food is amazing. Delivery is always prompt and the gentleman who delivers the food is always kind and happy.

Got tired of the local Cypress Hills joint and decided to do some yelping for better Chinese - this place definitely lived up to expectations. The General Tso's I use as a bellweather was perfect here, may have been one of the best and the other dishes were excellent as well. Hope they keep the standards up! read more

In a neighborhood where it is rather difficult to find "healthy" and fast food, Mr. Wonton comes to the rescue! Skip the fried chicken and burgers and go for some fresh veggies! They are always courteous, flexible as far as designing your meal to your liking, and prompt delivery. In addition, they offer udon, teriyaki and several South Asian dishes which, most Chinese fast food restaurants do not. Don't forget to try their wontons and dim sum! There IS a reason why they have coined themselves with that name! read more

Best Chinese Food in the neighborhood.... Very Friendly, clean atmosphere, quick delivery the food is amazing great tasting not greasy no burping up that MSG you normally do from other establishments. .Highly recommended! !!.. read more

This is the worse Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice. Never again. The rice was yellow with only onions. The shrimp was battered too much and not cooked thoroughly. I also ordered an egg roll. The worse. I was hungry so I ate. 2 hours later my stomach started cramping and I had to go to the toilet. I didn't recover until the following day. Never again. No star type of establishment. read more
