Small place but worth going. We had a breakfast sandwich and a burrito. Fresh coffee and orange juice. Well priced and everyone was very friendly. Definitely a must visit.

I went in for a quick bite (grabbed a bagel and an iced latte) and was charmed by the service. The man, and I wish I'd caught his name, was so sweet and patient. I didn't know which latte I wanted, and he didn't rush me. The bagel was what you'd expect: nothing fancy or special, but it hit the spot. The latte was yummy. The silly straw looped into a knot added a bit of whimsy I appreciated. Note that the prices have changed. From the most recent listing on Yelp, everything is about $2 higher.

Great attentive family style service. Great and affordable breakfast options. Cozy and great local hot sauces available.

Heyyyyyyyyy you guyyyyysssssss!! This is a small mom & pop spot and it's perfect for a quick breakfast sandwich. Ran by son, mom and pop who are a total pleasure. Service was great, friendly, fast and yum! We opted for a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a bagel with cream cheese. Let's eat!!

Perhaps the best find since arriving in the area! Small diner, 1 of 1, very much local color and feel. It's places like Zaba's that give a tourist area some depth. The owner served us, was gracious and provided us a working knowledge of the datil pepper and its history. He also has a range of self-made sauces and a mustard that will change your life (for the better, if there were any doubt). If you come to this area and don't visit, you'll have missed a one-of-a-kind experience. We will be back, and often!

AMAZING FOOD AND A-1 CUSTOMER SERVICE!! (Yes, I am yelling!). I was visiting for a wedding last week and this jewel popped up on my maps app as a food recommendation. The employees were very helpful with the food choices and so down to earth. They were very familiar with the locals, meaning that they were repeating patrons. I would definitely recommend this local spot to grab some delicious breakfast/lunch and to catch the beach vibes! Day-1 I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuits were so soft that they melted in your mouth. The fresh made Iced Vanilla Latte was the cherry one top! Day-2 (Yes, we ate there two days in a row) I ordered the grilled PB&J w/Bacon! I have never had this combination before; but it was soooo flavorful and good!

Therefore, this gets a long wait for breakfast/brunch. It's hard to get a parking spot but there's free parking across the street. They have a big waiting area next to the restaurant which is definitely needed as we ended up waiting like 45 minutes around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the burrito smothered with sauce and cheese and the flavor was fantastic. Flavorful but not super spicy or anything. It's also HUGE. Highly recommend. Service is a little questionable, if it was quicker they could probably help with their long wait. It was hard to flag down our girl when we needed something & it took ages to get to check.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.

You will get 3 cups of high quality coffee to share at the table or have all to yourself. As far as dining al fresco, the front courtyard is beautiful! However, on our trip it was too cold to dine outside. We were seated at a large table inside that accommodated our large group. They had several tables inside, but I could see on a busy Sunday or Saturday morning this place would get waitlisted quickly. Everyone loved their meals. No complaints. I ordered the lobster roll. It was very good, but I would try something different on a return visit. The salads coming out looked amazing! Here's a breakdown: Eggs benedict: 1/5 The restaurant did not have pork so we had to substitute for regular bacon instead. The whole dish including the potatoes was cold and the hollandaise sauce also was not fresh. Bahn mi: 2/5 As pork was not available, we had to substitute with shrimp which sadly was very bland and did not go well with the sandwich. The bread also was too toasted for my liking. While there wasn't anything outrageously bad about the bahn mi, I've definitely had much better. Shakshuka: 4/5 Great flavor and cooked very nicely. I would definitely get this again!!! Only critique is again the dish was cold. Coffee: 4/5 I really enjoyed the French press coffee including the options for non-dairy milk! However, it was on the weaker side and slightly sour tasting. We will for sure need another cup of caffeine later. Overall, I may come back to try one of the toasts; however, for the price there are definitely much better plentiful options in St. Augustine.
