This was a great little coffee shop. The atmosphere was inviting and quaint. I could actually sit down and enjoy good coffee without all the hustle and bustle of a Starbucks for the same taste and price. The breakfast was fresh and cooked to order as well. I got the pumpkin spice latte which was wonderful. I actually thought it was better than Starbucks. The staff was friendly, helpful, and service was speedy. Highly recommended. read more

Well done, inexpensive, local, cool little coffee shop. When I stopped in, I was sole, early morning customer. Barista dude was friendly and fast while my breakfast sandwich was delicious and very fresh. Can't beat the price or location if you're staying beach-side in St. Augustine. I'll be back! read more

We had breakfast here one morning this week on vacation. The owners were there and were very friendly. The food was delicious and there were a few locals hanging out that talked to us while we waited for our meals. It was a fun little cafe to check out. read more

The food was amazing and the staff were so cool. It was definitely a beach town feel, very casual, but if you're looking for that the coffee was awesome and the company can't be beat. read more

Close to the beach, Zabas is the perfect stop to grab breakfast before you head out for your day. It is a tiny little stop with pretty good food and awesome service. The owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Eating here gives the feeling like you are eating in a kitchen at your friend's home. It's a very unique experience. read more

Cutest little place in St. Augustine! The guys working Zaba's are the owners and they're just the sweetest people. I would go back every day if I lived here just to say hello and help support them! Didn't hurt that it was some of the best breakfast food I have ever had. Try the morning sunshine bowl - hash browns, bacon, sausage gravy, eggs and cheese! Mmmm! Iced coffee was amazing too. 5 stars! read more

Super cute shop owners are so sweet super cool vibe, coffees great and the best biscuits and gravy in town! Thanks for the datil peppers!

Excellent brew! Try the Costa Rican Sunrise...So flavorful! Add a half shot of salted caramel --HEAVEN!

Excellent little place across the street from the beach. Killer coffees and all drinks and the biscuits and gravy taste like my mamas! GREAT prices for the beach, small but quaint. Won't find better staff anywhere. ITS A MUST GO TO WHEN AT THE BEACH, read more

Great local place to eat! Will definitely be going back. They have a nice new take on a breakfast wrap.

What a great little spit. Great coffee. Friendly fun and affordable. Try the breakfast bowl. Filling and excellent value. Consistently good. Can not say enough at how friendly they are. Like eating breakfast at home in the kitchen. Not to be missed. read more

Local feel owned by local people. Best coffee and hot dog in town. Went there a few weeks ago and decided to try something new .. The garbage bowl was awesome. Not only is the food awesome so is the company and conversation. The friendliest owners and staff you will find beachside. Need to know what's going on in town or where to spend your day.. Just ask them. Always always leave there with a full satisfied belly and a smile on my face. Thanks Will Brandon and Kenny!! read more

Great breakfast spot. Breakfast sandwiches are good, employees are friendly, coffee is good and it's right across the street from the A St. Beach entrance. Get a grilled donut too. read more

Best st Augustine beach spot for breakfast! Enjoyed breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee each morning of my vacation! The staff is friendly, the restaurants is clean and the food is cooked to order and so good!!! read more

Small restaurant I came with a family of 6. Which was a tight squeeze for this place. Prices we're good and coffee tasted fresh and they have a variety of options. The food menu was small and you get what you pay for. Breakfast sandwich was basic could make a better one at home and the breakfast bowl comes in a actual bowl (not to appealing). Overall place is ok not great. read more

Adorable little beach place with the sweetest owners. 10/10 would do again! Great food, great people, great location. Would highly recommend! Ask the owner about his spicy pickles! read more

We popped in here starving this afternoon and the owner was super friendly and helpful. Mixed up a special honey mustard for us. Good Cuban sandwiches. The only reason they don't get five stars is they forgot to leave the pickle and cheese off my sons sandwich. And they have the cutest little Daschund. read more

It was ok. Coffee shop? Well they had drip made it a commercial sized coffee maker. Breakfast to write home about? They microwaved it in front of me. I would instead go to Cafe 11 as it's the real McCoy. read more

What a nice find! Was in Jax for nine years and was pretty upset to find a place after we left. The bowl and burrito are awesome! Add some of their sauce in the mix, you won't be mad. Can't wait to go again when we are in town. Go Cubs read more

The coffee and service in this local venue are incredible. The food service is also fast and everything we tried was delicious. In addition, we liked the homemade sauces so much we decided to go back the next day to buy some. If you want a place that has a local, hometown feel, this is your spot. Although it is not glamorous by any means, it fits the beach venue where it is located. read more

Stumbled on this hole in the wall and wish we had found it earlier. Great coffee, great breakfast wrap. This place is run by the friendliest two locals in St Augustine that are passionate about what they do. Can't decide which is better, the food or the service. If you are visiting, Zabas is a must-visit for breakfast or lunch. read more

Glad I found this place! Great people, great food! Coffee was EXCELLENT. It's nice to find a place where they really care about what the do. Everything they do. Our favorite local place for breakfast when we are on vacation! Greta service and great food!!

Great local place for coffee and a quick breakfast. The eggs and toast were good, but the latte was amazing. We also had a chai tea latte that was really good too. The two guys that run it were what really sold me on the place though. They were extremely kind and helpful, gave some good advice on what to do and where to eat in the area, and were about as friendly as you can get. If I got up early enough I would go there everyday for breakfast. read more

Wow... coolest place we found on the beach for breakfast. Sat under the palm trees outside and had a "Morning Sunshine Breakfast Bowl". Awesome! Coming again tomorrow! read more

Awesome spot for breakfast! Everyone working there was great and I can't recommend the grilled doughnut enough! The coffee was delicious! So much better than going to the big chains! Definitely will be going back! read more

Nice little coffee shop with such friendly staff! We happened to stay at a B&B nearby, and wanted a couple of nice espresso drinks. They're clearly eager to please and give a minute for some friendly conversation. I'd be happy to go back and try the food as well. read more

Totally overrated- what a disappointment. We like it mellow, but that was a little too less of everything. The food was cheap and oily, the eggs tasted like fish and it smelled like old used olive oil all over the place. Would never go there again for breakfast. The coffee was good though! read more

This charming coffee shop/eatery is fantastic. The breakfast and lunch fare is excellent. Huge fan of the breakfast bowl. The organic coffee, frappes and smoothies are delicious. It is located at 701 A1A Beach Boulevard, Suite C. Everything is very reasonably priced, made-to-order, and the owner/staff is extremely friendly. read more

Interesting small coffee shop. Good coffee and nice new breakfast bowl special. Go there, try it.

Was mediocre. Nothing special in terms of beverages and wasn't overly impressed with food options. Would recommend going down the street to Kookabura. read more

Great food, freshly prepared combined with a casual beach style ambiance make Zaba's our favourite spot for breakfast and/or lunch on Beach Boulevard. Add in the good humour and attentive, friendly service from Brandon and Will and ....well, what else do you need! This is our fourth year spending winter in Saint Augustine to escape Montreal winters and we've found a place in Zaba's that really makes us feel like we're in our second home. read more

This place serves hands down Honestly some of the best breakfast food in town, and that includes Downtown St. Augustine. There are a handful of useful things i can say about this eatery, but i will start with mentioning the food and staff are both top notch. High Quality for a simple and cheap price will have any reasonable minded and food enthusiast back for seconds, thirds, fourths and fifths. You have options here that go beyond breakfast, as i had the BEST hamburger i could have on the island. I have been living here for four years and i have eaten at any place you may think of by the beach, and they absolutely kill it! 5 stars for food and 5 for the quality of the service. the owners greats you with a kind smile, the cook is slinging fresh food right in front of you and the overall vibe could not be better. It says a lot around here in regards to how many breakfast options around St. Augustine Beach, and Zaba's absolutely knows what they are doing so far, and they do not seem to be slowing down any time soon. every time i go in there they have some new menu item that i am itching to try. They are even open from midweek-the weekend late night. the hours stretch until 3 am and if you ask me it is genius. i recommend anyone who is not only in the mood for some great grub when everything else on this island closes at around 10-11, Zaba's is just re-opening and honestly not a bad place to stop after the bars! i write this review with enthusiasm as i only write one after being to a place more than a few times and have truly enjoyed both the food and service, and this establishment exceeds all of these qualifications. Try it for yourself and see ! read more

Let's start positive: very friendly staff and affordable prices but slow service, lame food.
