This was a great little coffee shop. The atmosphere was inviting and quaint. I could actually sit down and enjoy good coffee without all the hustle and bustle of a Starbucks for the same taste and price. The breakfast was fresh and cooked to order as well. Close to the beach, Zabas is the perfect stop to grab breakfast before you head out for your day. It is a tiny little stop with pretty good food and awesome service. Small restaurant I came with a family of 6. Which was a tight squeeze for this place. Prices we're good and coffee tasted fresh and they have a variety of options. The food menu was small and you get what you pay for. Breakfast sandwich was basic could make a better one at home and the breakfast bowl comes in a actual bowl (not to appealing). The coffee and service in this local venue are incredible. The food service is also fast and everything we tried was delicious. In addition, we liked the homemade sauces so much we decided to go back the next day to buy some. If you want a place that has a local, hometown feel, this is your spot. Great local place for coffee and a quick breakfast. The eggs and toast were good, but the latte was amazing. We also had a chai tea latte that was really good too. The two guys that run it were what really sold me on the place though. They were extremely kind and helpful, gave some good advice on what to do and where to eat in the area, and were about as friendly as you can get. Totally overrated- what a disappointment. We like it mellow, but that was a little too less of everything. The food was cheap and oily, the eggs tasted like fish and it smelled like old used olive oil all over the place. Would never go there again for breakfast. The coffee was good though! read more

Great food, freshly prepared combined with a casual beach style ambiance make Zaba's our favourite spot for breakfast and/or lunch on Beach Boulevard. Add in the good humour and attentive, friendly service from Brandon and Will and ....well, what else do you need! This place serves hands down Honestly some of the best breakfast food in town, and that includes Downtown St. Augustine. There are a handful of useful things i can say about this eatery, but i will start with mentioning the food and staff are both top notch. High Quality for a simple and cheap price will have any reasonable minded and food enthusiast back for seconds, thirds, fourths and fifths. You have options here that go beyond breakfast, as i had the BEST hamburger i could have on the island. I have been living here for four years and i have eaten at any place you may think of by the beach, and they absolutely kill it! 5 stars for food and 5 for the quality of the service. the owners greats you with a kind smile, the cook is slinging fresh food right in front of you and the overall vibe could not be better. It says a lot around here in regards to how many breakfast options around St. Augustine Beach, and Zaba's absolutely knows what they are doing so far, and they do not seem to be slowing down any time soon. every time i go in there they have some new menu item that i am itching to try. They are even open from midweek-the weekend late night. the hours stretch until 3 am and if you ask me it is genius. i recommend anyone who is not only in the mood for some great grub when everything else on this island closes at around 10-11, Zaba's is just re-opening and honestly not a bad place to stop after the bars! i write this review with enthusiasm as i only write one after being to a place more than a few times and have truly enjoyed both the food and service, and this establishment exceeds all of these qualifications.
