FANTASTIC SERVICE! I just had my DSG serviced at Z Sport on my 14 VW GLI. While I usually try to do work on my own cars the DSG service is technical and requires a special tool. I contacted Mark and he quoted me a competitive and fair price. So I thought I'd give them a shot. The shop is immaculate. Nicer than the shops I have worked for in the past, including BMW dealerships. Super friendly service from Mark and his service writer. They pointed out a brake issue and priced out a fair quote for that as well. (I decided to repair on my own). The DSG service only took a few hours total. No surprises when the bill came. They even sent me a Thank You card with a service and Starbucks gift cards! Exceptional service, fair prices, quick repairs, clean facility. If you have a Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, or other European vehicle, I can highly recommend Z Sport Euro. The workmanship of maintenance and repairs I've experienced so far is excellent. The prices, while not cheap, are reasonable, especially considering the quality you get. Prices seem to be only slightly less than a dealership would charge, but you sacrifice nothing in quality and the service is outstanding. I had seen the Z Sport location off the 5 for many years and thought they only serviced Datsun/Nissan Z cars and the like. We bought a 2009 VW Beetle last year for our daughter and I first had that serviced at a local VW dealer. Service & pricing there were okay, not stellar. Her car needed struts badly and the dealer pricing wasn't too bad, but I'd have to wait 3 weeks to get it done. Ridiculous! I started searching Yelp for an alternative and was surprised to learn of the other Z Sport Euro location. Having read the reviews on Yelp, I decided to give them a shot. That service went very well. I felt they were honest as I told them to go ahead and align the car if it needed it, but it didn't need it. They knew I was new to this car and they made some helpful maintenance suggestions, which I took. Pricing was slightly better than the dealer too. Again, service is outstanding. They really make you feel comfortable, like a friend. I recently returned to have the oil and filter done and love that they use Amsoil synthetic. Good stuff! I plan to bring our Audi here once the warranty expires. Shortly after my first visit here, I received a very warm welcome letter that had a coupon for service enclosed and a $5 Starbucks card. How nice! I really appreciate this shop and I'm glad I found it. I plan to take my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT to the other Z Sport location for an A/C conversion soon! read more

Taken my BMW here for oil changes and a major repair. Their service is top notch. Nothing is ever cheap when it comes to foreign cars but you can bet that they will do what's necessary and make sure it's done right! I made the stupid mistake of letting someone inexperienced change my oil. He cracked my housing for my filter and caused major damage. Luckily Marc and his team identified the problem quickly and fixed it in no time! They also cleaned my engine from the huge oil mess that was left from the leak. He also called me because my radiator hose had a leak and didn't even charge me for labor, just the hose. Which was much appreciated! They keep in contact with you daily to let you know what's going on with your car and when you can expect it to be finished. I definitely won't be taking my car anywhere else for maintenance! I'll never take my BMW's elsewhere, This place is beyond Awesome!!!! I love how honest this place is. Mark will never charge you for anything unnecessary for your vehicle. They do everything right the first time, and they have by far the best technicians. Everything is so prompt. No over hours charged on labor EVER. I used to go to places that would constantly add other services to your vehicle and claimed that they were necessary, This place does not do that! They stay in contact with you, call or text you, and mention things that you will need in the future, but never force you to have them repaired right away. As every other working person, there's never a convenient time to put your car in the shop. One of the best things, is Z sports has loaners, so that you can either go to work and come back at the end of the day to pick up your car, or basic things like running errands. There's never a good time for your car to break down, but this place makes it so easy to drop mine off. The name can throw you off, but they don't just do European. Came in one day with my 2005 325ci bmw that had a "service engine soon" light. The guy behind the counter immediately, without even looking at my car, told me it was the intake gasket, which would cost $800. He said even if that wasn't the problem, opening the car up for labor would be worth getting everything done that you can. I do not agree with his logic that so long as I'm paying $100 or so per service hour, I may as well get an $800 service done. He was a little condescending in asking me if I knew what a canvas top even was. This was after guessing my 325ci was a hard top convertible. And he tried making up for it by claiming the "c" had something to do with what kind of top the car was. Felt like a sleazy mechanic tried tricking a little girl into spending a lot of money on nothing. If that's how they make their money, they shouldn't be proud. read more

On Turkey Day, I was making the 4-hour trip over the cold mountains to Seattle, but right after I hopped over Snoqualmie Pass, my MINI Cooper's yellow engine light flashed. I still had an hour of driving. At the end of that hour, my car started coughing/dying/stalling. Happy Thanksgiving. So, no turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, or gravy for this ole rambler. Instead I stressed over what to do hours away from my tools. I checked both MINI dealerships in the area and their service departments were booked for weeks. I then looked for other mechanics. One which was the closest was Z Sport Euro. I called them in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in. Within an hour they had an idea of what the issue was (spark plugs, and possibly the air flow meter). They gave me a ride back to where I was staying and I then let them take care of my vehicle. Their estimate was it would be out by the afternoon. The owner was super nice, and they have a mechanic who is touted as proficient with German vehicles and MINIs. So a full day and $1000 later, I had my baby back. Granted I was desperate (away from home, and needing my vehicle soon), so I sort of braced myself for the steep cost. I just feel like I lost some man points for taking it in for a job I might have been able to do myself (well, especially the spark plugs!). Oh well. This shop's labor rate is $109/hr. And for my work, the invoice roughly went like this: --Check/Inspecting proglem: $54 --Spark Plugs: $200 (labor and 4 spark plugs) --Air Flow Meter & Filter: $600 So with tax and other things it came to just under $1000. read more

I've taken my BMW 335i to Z-Sport Euro for the last couple years. Last year, after I took the car down to a BMW repair shop in Bellevue for a new battery, that shop failed to notice a major oil leak. I just happened to stop by Z-Sport Euro because my oil level kept dropping. Turns out, I needed a major seal replaced and Z-Sport spotted the problem right away and repaired within the day at a very reasonable price. On Christmas day, my starter went out. I called Z-Sport to leave a message that I would be towing my car to their shop and putting the key in their drop box. They contacted me the next day to tell me they had diagnosed the issue as being the starter and they had the OEM part in stock. They completed this extensive job in one day and changed the oil. Again, for a fair price. Z-Sport has been very good and I would recommend them to any other BMW owners. read more

Brought a car in to replace a part that was throwing a code, told them what part was needed and what to replace. Got a call saying the job was not the only thing needed and was then estimated over 2 grand for an originally $200 dollar job, labor included. Decided to do the job myself the shop still charged 160 dollars in labor to run the code and test. If you want to get charged out the ass for a "30 year veteran mechanic" to do the same thing auto zone can for free, by all means, go with z sport. If you want honesty and openness, take your car AMYWHERE else. :) read more

I have a 2004 MINI, and the battery light started coming on. So I took it in to have it checked. Turned out my alternator was not doing its job. Ryan said they could have it fixed the next day around lunch time. (It was later in the day I took it in) Unfortunately I didn't have a ride home from the shop, so Ryan said they could take me home. All the guys were very nice and helpful. I never felt like they were trying to scam me. Ryan called the next day about 1:30, and said my car was done. And they figured a way to get to the alternator without having to take off the intake manifold. Which saved me some money! I also asked them to look at my brakes and front right wheel bearing. I had just bought new tires from Les Schwab a week before. They told me the wheel had some play in it, and I needed to get that fixed pretty quick. Well, the guys at Z Sport said, yes, there is some play, but the wheel won't fall off and it is fine too drive for a while. They didn't try to scare more money out of me! Plus when I ask about doing something myself, or having a friend work on my car, Ryan is very helpful. He doesn't try to make it seem like only a shop can do the work. All in all....great shop! Well, this is the only place I will go now. Better service than the dealership!
