I ordered a vegan pad thai, and it was very flavorless. I ate 1/2 the day I got it and added the soy sauce packet it comes with (I usually never do this but since it was so flavorless I had to), and even with it it didn't help. I saved the other half and ate it the next day because I didn't want to waste it as it was expensive and I had to recook it and add my own home sauces to make it flavorful. read more

Yu Thai Pa appears to have opened on Thursday, March 25, 2021 and while they are currently running with a limited menu there are still plenty of options available including a comprehensive vegan menu. We ordered the Pad See Ewe and Glass Noodle Pad Thai, both with chicken and were pleasantly surprised. It's hard to mess up either of these dishes and they were spot on in flavor and not overly salty or too Americanized. We also ordered the green Thai tea which was a tasty surprise in its own right, blending floral green tea notes with the creaminess expected of a more traditional Thai tea. Staff indicated they expected to expand the menu and have more of the "Coming Soon" options available within the next month as they get their foothold. I'm particularly looking forward to Eastern Dry Rub (larb flavored) wings! This place is definitely worth a shot for those who haven't been there and a future visit from us. read more

Every time I come here everything is exceptional. The food is affordable with a cozy patio to enjoy it with your date. The gentleman there even remembers me from weeks in between grubbing here. Food is always on point! We eat here at least once a week. Service is prompt and always great. The man serving us is always so kind and accommodating. Always look forward to Thai night. Typically they have been fantastic but when I ordered my food on Wednesday night it was just not good. It took an hour for order and we were fine waiting. We had to pick up our order at about 8:30 PM, close to their closing. The noodles were mushy and the rice was mushy, with a taste of possibly being frozen and reheated? I have had Thai food as far north as Washington state and as Far East as New York. I was beyond happy with the food at this location! I ordered the Glass Noodle Pad Thai, Pad See You, Chicken Fried Rice, and veggie egg rolls. My order was made over the phone and was told that my order would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. I arrived exactly 20 minutes after I placed my order, and was happy to see my food being packaged the moment I walked up. Everything had terrific flavor, nothing was too oily, rice was cooked properly and not undercooked in anyway. Staff was very friendly and outgoing. All kitchen staff and cashiers wore both masks and gloves while working. Food containers also had tamper safe stickers on them as well. read more

First time with a recently opened dine out location. There previously was a Mexican food place here. I love the play on Yucaipa. This restaurant is a small place with no indoor seating which considering the Covid nonsense, works out well for them. They do have outside seating. The food: I ordered drunken noodles, cashew chicken and pineapple curry. Every dish was great. We ordered mild heat and they certainly did deliver the heat. I may even have to tone it down next time. All in all a nice experience. The employee who helped me was very nice and the to go bag and food was organized and prepped very well. I will certainly be back. read more

Appetizers: Goyza:- was very good little on the crispy side but had good taste Tofu- was very good as well Ordered the chicken pad Thai and the pad thai see Had no flavor to the food. Just tried for the first time...this place is great. We got the pad thai with glass noodles, drunken noodles medium (more than enough heat) and the chicken fried rice. We loved all three. Will definitely go back. It is very close to my house which is convenient. read more

Love the name! It's great they added some Asian cuisine in the downtown area of the boulevard. They only have 4 outdoor tables for seating so be prepared to take it to go if you come on a busy time. The foods good. Not the best, but it kicks the Thai cravings. Really liked their pad thai but didn't like the massaman curry - didn't have much flavor. This was great and we were definitely regular customers! I really enjoyed my tofu pad see ew. Despite our big order, we got great customer service and all the orders were correct. Only reason I did four out of five stars was that the tofu was a little strange. It was still delicious, it was just unlike any tofu I've had before. Not sure exactly how it's prepared but it's kind of airy inside, almost like it was puffed up? That is pretty nit-picky though, and I can't wait to go back. Placed a phone order and received a text when our order was ready which was convenient. We ordered drunken noodles, pad see ew and yellow curry, all mild. The noodles were very flavorful with a slight kick. Curry was delicious but for some reason a lot spicier than the noodles, not complaining though. Great serving sizes, we ordered 2 drunken noodles and would have been fine with just one. Everyone was so happy with their meals and we all wished we would have tried the Pad Thai as well. Very good drunken noodles with steak or their chicken! We have also had their pineapple rice and it was great. The staff is super friendly and honestly we love knowing we are giving our money to a place with such kind employees. I'm docking one star only because once we ordered and the food was lacking.. we felt like maybe they were out of something they normally added and tried to make due. I visited YuThaiPa on 6/17/21-first and last- time customer. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and a Thai Tea. What I received was Pad Thai SOUP and a Thai Tea. I never had Pad Thai SOUP before (didn't know Pad Thai could come out this way) and I'll be sure never to have it again because it leaked in my car and inside my house on my clean hardwood floors. Since the restaurant was kind enough to "surprise" me with Pad Thai SOUP, I'll provide a review for it. The "broth" was probably excessive water from the improperly drained rice noodles and it washed away the taste of the tamarind sauce and made the fried egg all soggy. I'm not sure if the intention was to add boiled chicken to the dish or if the broth just made the chicken look and taste as if it was boiled?? The SOUP also caused the rice noodles to break apart like they were over cooked. I don't think this is normal. Hard to say because I've never seen this before. The best part of the dish was that it came in a plastic container with red stickers that said "Tamper Free". Nice touch. Nothing gets in, but it lets all the SOUP leak out. read more
