Since changing over to BKK78, they've added a few unexpected items to the menu, including some Mexican options alongside the classic Thai dishes. ​Recommend: Stick with the Pad See Ew. It's still really good, holds up to the original quality, and remains one of the best things on the menu. ​Not Recommend: I'd pass on ordering veggies here. About 80% of the container is just packed with rice, with only a light layer of vegetables tossed on top. Also, if you're trying to keep things budget-friendly, this might not be your spot anymore. The price increases mean you'll need to spend a bit more than you used to. ​Tip/Trick: Overall, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The speed is great and the Pad See Ew is a win, but between the higher prices and heavy rice-to-veggie ratio, you just have to decide if it's worth the extra hit to your wallet. read more

Thai style street tacos?!! WHAAAT. We stumbled upon this place and don't regret it one bit. The Thai tea was strong but flavorful, the taco trio was to die for. The flavors shined through and the char on the meat was perfect. I can't believe they're not using msg or added flavored seasoning. Very reasonably priced & quick & fast. Service was excellent, staff was so helpful and friendly. Love the outdoor seating option, everything was so clean. It is in the heart of Yucaipa so up front parking is a little limited but overall a fantastic experience. read more

This is a cute little spot on Yucaipa Blvd with a charming outdoor patio and cute wall arts! The food is pretty good, a little different than most Thai places due to it being more street-food focused! The tea was strong with very little sugar which I personally think is good but maybe the sugar level should be communicated up front (such as asking what % sweetness the customer wants). The rest of the dishes we ordered were very flavorful, I can't believe they don't use artificial spices or anything like that because it tastes sooo gooood! The only thing I felt could have been done better for our food was the tofu. It was a bit overcooked & hard to pierce with my fork and chew. I would have liked it to be a bit softer inside. As far as the service, it was quick and straight to the point. I feel that the guy could have been a little friendlier but he wasn't rude & answered our questions. I will come back another time to try more & hopefully when their mango sticky rice comes back! read more

My husband and I have been here twice and loved it both times. Everything is fresh, tasty and flavorful. The tiger tacos and grilled chicken salad were amazing. So were the potstickers. So much better than the first Thai restaurant that was here before. read more

We came here for a date night, and it's actually where Yu-Thaipia used to be. The vibe is really cool, fun music, outdoor seating, and just a great atmosphere overall. I really enjoyed that part. The food, though, was just okay. Nothing really stood out or felt extra special. We ordered the drunken noodles, and the chicken had almost no flavor, it honestly just tasted like charred chicken. The noodles were okay, but they weren't your typical flat noodles. They were more like chow mein noodles, which I thought was interesting. It almost felt like they were going for a Chinese-Thai fusion, but for me, it just missed the mark. We also tried their Thai tea, which was a little different from the usual, interesting, but not my favorite. They had what I think was called crystal boba, which was more like a white or lychee-style boba instead of the usual tapioca pearls. Again, interesting, but not something I'd go out of my way for. One thing that was disappointing, especially for a newer location, was that every item on our receipt was about a dollar more than what was listed on the menu. It would be nice to see the menus updated so the pricing is accurate. Overall, it was a nice experience for the vibe, and the service was good, but the food didn't quite match it. Had to come back and let people know how delicious the Sukiyaki with beef was!! I was trying to figure out What's for lunch the other day and headed up the blvd! I had seen a post in FB for the sukiyaki and it was amazing! My new favorite! The noodles picked up the sauce and the veggies and steak was cooked perfectly! I had it for two lunches there was so much in the container! Also got the cucumber salad which is addictingly good! Also tried Thai tea but I needed more sweet, so I'll order with whipped cream next time. I just added some coffee creamer at home and it was delicious! read more

My wife and I tried this place for the first time and honestly... wow. It's mainly a takeout spot, but they have a small patio where you can sit and eat. You walk up to the window and ring the bell to order, which is kind of cool. The owner, Joy, is amazing. She's super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell she really cares. She helped us pick what to order, explained the menu, and answered all our questions without rushing us at all. We asked about gluten-free options and she actually came out to our table and went over everything with us, which I really appreciated. We ordered the mala noodles with beef, drunken noodles with chicken, papaya salad, and sticky mango rice.. and everything was seriously so good. Like, some of the best Thai food I've had. The food was fresh, light, but still filling. We got medium spice and it was perfect. We also tried the green tea and it was ridiculously good. Honestly, the food was so good we forgot to take pictures until we were basically done! Between the food and how nice Joy was, this place is an easy recommendation. We had green curry w/ chicken, pad Thai w/ beef & shrimp, pad Thai egg rolls, chicken satay, and Thai tea. Everything was fresh, full of flavor & reasonably priced. The sauces are to die for! Fellow Yucaipian here and a big fan of Thai food. I know Yucaipa is not known for good Thai food so when we saw a new Thai place had opened we just had to try it. First off the service and the place are fine no issues there. The food however not so much. The meat in our drunken noodles were suspect, so much so that both of us spit it out and the flavor was just not good. Tried the Pad Thai as well and that was not any better. The food is my biggest complaint its just not good, but then we noticed the small portions. It's ridicoulous the amout they charge for what little you get. This was our first time here, You order at the side walk up window. The ordering was very quick. It seems like they were in a rush and weren't very welcoming. We ordered the Pad Se Ew, Fried rice, Red wine tacos, a Thai tea and tried ordering mango sticky rice which they told us they were out of which was weird because we saw multiple people leave with mango sticky rice as the worker made multiple orders of it in the front window. Maybe they were just tired of making it for the day... we waited about 20 mins for our order and they apologized for the wait. As the worker handed us our food I let her know how we were sad they were out of the mango sticky rice and she told us "no we're not!" And I said that's what the cashier told us. And she just seemed surprised. We took our order to go and ate at home. Everything was hot and smelled delicious. The tacos were pretty basic nothing special about them especially for the price. The fried rice was pretty average. The pad se ew was the saving grace, great flavor just a small serving. And the Thai tea was a let down. Very strong and bitter we took a couple sips and threw it out. I can't say this will be a spot we return to as food was pretty average and pricey and it was strange they didn't want to sell us the mango sticky rice. It's really pricey, I paid $25 for pad Thai with shrimp and a Thai tea (at lunch time) that I couldn't drink because it was to bitter or strong, not sure but I hadn't ever tasted a Thai tea that bitter/strong before.
