So I love this place!! I've been coming here for years and since I stopped by in Canarsie I figured I'd come and pay them a visit. First and foremost, this isn't the your fine dinning kind of restaurant however I love their food. You can see them making the food right in front if you. The cooks are Asian so this is Tex mex style and there the best I've had around. I usually order quesadillas, crunchy tacos, wings and the nachos and I've yet to be mad or dissatisfied with my order. The owner of the restaurant is so sweet and always greets me with a smile, this is a fast paste environment so she may seem like she's rushing you but she's trying to get the order done. My job is located 10 mins away from this location and my coworkers and I order here ALOT. The food is always superb and we've never had a complaint until today. I placed an order for 11 people and as we all sat down to eat and my boss pulled her quesadilla apart and there was a dead roach on her jalapeño. I will attach my picture to prove it but never in my life have I been soooo disgusted by a food establishment. The sad part is that people already started to eat. We packed everything back up and immediately called the restaurant. They placed us on hold for a long time and then asked " do you want a refund of all the food?" The delivery man returned and apologized and said he just works there and even he was blown away by the dead roach. I later passed by the storefront and saw their grade is a "B" in the window. My sister has told me about this place a few times. One day while I'm home and hungry I decided to give this place a try. I went in and ordered two hard tacos, chicken and streak. The tacos were mediocre at best. The chicken was ok, but was grilled hard. So the chicken was a bit difficult to chew for a taco. The steak was not really edible. It was tough chewy pieces of steak. I was out in BK today. Putting in time at work in East NEW York ( Uncle Murda voice). Forgot to bring lunch today and one of my co-workers recommended this place to me. Called them up and placed my order at exactly 2:14pm. Now, it was a very simple order : Grilled Chicken Combo and Guacamole and mixed veggies on the side. cost was $8.50. Delivery Homeboy took legit, 45 minutes to come. The place wasn't even that far from where I was. So, yea a few stars less for the long wait. and i still gave him that $1.50 tip......sheeeesh damn , I'm an awfully good citizen. Tex-Mex food was aight, not that crazy about it. I learned my lesson about Canarsie a lot of the food and a lot of the restaurants are not the best. A friend and I were really hungry so we decided to try Yummy Taco. First off their cash only like a lot of the restaurants in the area. Fortunately a couple of doors down there was an ATM so we came back. It was in the style of a Chinese restaurant but Mexican themed. I ordered a steak salad in a taco shell. Also ordered a chicken taco in a hard shell. First off, the chicken taco shell was stale and cold. The chicken itself was okay. The salad came with iceberg lettuce which I absolutely hate, the steak pieces were tough, the salad had pickles in it and the rest of the veggies weren't really fresh. The hot sauce was actually wing sauce and the salsa I think was actually tomato and onion sauce. If this is what passes as Tex-Mex in Canarsie I think they're in trouble. This is a Chinese and Tex-Mex restaurant. I usually stop by here only if I'm nearby. My go to is the Grilled Chicken Tostado which is usually good and a bit more healthy. This is by no means the place for high expectation or a fine dining experience. It's pretty much a hole in the wall with simple hot food. Ok so everyone has their hangover food of choice (ok maybe I'm alone on this so what lol). My choice is usually chinese and a ridiculous amount of Seltzer water however since I was in Brooklyn I decided to get Mexican . I have ordered from this place before so my expectations were set appropriately, however today fell below my not so high expectations. I ordered the Shrimp Chimichungas. I should have known this was not going well when the lady who took the order was far from warm and fuzzy. When I told her shrimp she shouted "That's more money" , I said ooooh k that's fine chucking it up to the fact she wanted to be clear lol . My only request was they put the guacamole and sour cream on the side, she placed me on hold to see if that was possible (umm why wouldn't it be) , after confirmation she said " Ok we do it but it don't come like that ok " I said ok ( I must have been desperate for a Chimi lol) . I requested delivery they delivered in about 35 mins not too bad. I get my food and it was ridiculously small it was mostly rice a dab of guacamole and NO sour cream. How the heck is a girl to get busy with no sour cream. Uggh. The Chimichungas themselves were not great but edible however at $9 they were small and I was still hungry after because I'm not a rice eater (potatoes kinda gal) I called them and they did send over two tiny little sour creams about a half hour later at least they made an attempt but bye then my tiny Chimi was a distant memory. This place serves it's purpose in desperate measures but I'm almost certain they don't have an authentic mexican seasoning in their kitchen... Not sure if there will be a next time though. read more

The burritos are good. Stick to the Mexican food. Don't get the chicken and fries or anything American, you will be disappointed. The fried chicken doesn't have any flavor and it doesn't taste fresh. I couldn't even finish the chicken cause it tasted old. read more

I'm hispanic so I know how spanish food typically tastes and I feel like none of their burritos or taquitos even tacos have ever tasted authentic. BUT this is a franchise so I get it.
