Came here on a recommendation from a coworker. The food did not disappoint! The flavor in the Yummefy curry was great, and had the perfect level of spice. The sambosas made a great start to the meal, I could not get enough of the dipping sauce they came with. read more

We stopped for lunch on a whim and WOW did we make a good choice. There were three of us and we tried the chicken fried rice, spicy chicken drunken noodles, and spicy Himalayan chicken. We also got strawberry, chocolate and taro bubble teas. This food is delicious and super flavorful. We all choose medium spice level and it left a nice tingle in our mouths without being too hot. There is a small patio for outdoor seating. TRY THIS PLACE. read more

Yummefy was a wonderful suprise, considering the culture is derives its recipes from was one I was not extremely familiar with. I had the Pork Belly Bowl- again, outside my comfort zone- and it hit all the rights notes for me. Great flavor, spices, and the perfect portion size. Also, during the time we are in, it's refreshing to see such a COVID conscious establishment. Without a doubt, recommend Yummefy to anyone looking for a great lunch destination. read more

Delicious Nepalese spot to get something a little less ordinary. Adequate seating and fast friendly service make it a great lunch stop. I've had multiple great dishes but my personal favorite is the Gorkhali Chicken. I like it hot but warning their spicy builds on you as you go. read more

I would give this place a 3.5 . It had some tasty dishes but everything was set up togo style and felt like it was the middle of 2020 times. Gloves and all. At least the owner was not wearing a mask. The service was normal. My dish was good just too much plastic all over the place. read more

Underwhelming food taste but the drinks were nice. But food leaves left to be desired felt very... basic tasting ? Def more on the Americas side taste than the Asia's side. The coconut soup was very watered down in taste the "wings" I got were all oversized fatty drumsticks not like the photo presented. My guests were also not too pleased with their meals There just wasnt an authentic Asia taste that was missing from all of our dishes I used to live in two countries in Asia and was hoping I could find somewhat of a taste The service seemed a little not up to standards like asking a customer to move their menu away from them so they wouldn't damage it. As a waitress I would NEVER be that casually bold with a customer. Especially when everything else was on cheap disposable eatery to protect against covid (Which I appreciate) So it would make sense to also use printout disposable menus so you dont have to worry about that. Another thing as a waitress I would never do is ask customers to pay up front. Well maybe because we were black customers. But I observed the other non black customer tables and they could eat first and then pay, but I didnt know until it was too late after the fact when we had ordered and eaten. It makes me wish I wasnt a proactive tipper beforehand, but I just assumed it was policy and everyone would have paid up front. Needless to say we wont be going back. Wanted to say something but didnt want to ruin my friends day as we havent met up since early last year But hey, one star for the drink I guess. And gave the leftover food to my dog to not waste. read more

i've driven by here a couple of times and finally decided to stop by and give it a try since i love asian food. their menu seems to be a mix between thai, chinese, indian and phillipino food. not sure about authenticity, but the flavor is definitely there! overall my food was greatly cooked and seasoned and i see myself coming back here to explore their menu, however, this is not the place to come to if you are looking for authentic dishes. i ordered to-go, but they are open for dine-in. also, they have daily lunch specials as well as a happy hour food and drink specials. read more

Very tasty and service is always super friendly - the Gorkhali Chicken, hot, is a definite favorite

We also ordered Momo's, a spicy chicken variety, and the pad thai with chicken and shrimp. The shrimp were very tender and the dish perfectly spiced. The portions are large and we took home half - four meals in all from single servings! read more

My grandchild felt like famous people when we left because of the special treat we received and the great dishes we enjoyed on our visits. The owners recognize us when we entered and suggested new dishes based on our last visits. Just little small extra attention that made us feel like they appreciate our business. The grandchildren love the food and look forward to our next visits. Kudus and know we will be back soon. read more

EDIT: Just wanted to add that the owner came out and checked on us. He is very kind and gave us some history to his menu creation and business start. What a personal experience he created. First time guest here. Very yummy. I ordered the Veggie Delight and it was delicious. The flavor is there! Very satisfied. And great customer service. Will def make an effort to come back when I'm in the area. read more

Relatively a new place! Ate here for lunch. Inside designs had abundance of Asian cultural arts. Colorful and cultural, Arts and crafts displayed seem to be of owners background. This establishment provides a unique and authentic experience, visually and tastefully, from the Asian borders of Nepal, India, and fusion Asian. Owners were Nepalese. Very kind and humble people providing phenomenal service. Their service outstandingly exemplifies what it means to treat their patrons as guest and not just a next ticket or a customer. Food was hot, fresh, authentic, flavorful, and healthy. Their fresh and healthy menu offers food from various different regions in mid-Asia. There was little bit of everything available for people of all different tongues. We ate Yummefy Wings, Steamed Chicken Mo-Mo's, Basil Chicken, Spicy Himalayan Chicken, Edamame, Chicken Skewer, and Drunken Chicken Noodle. Each dish were authentic with its own flavorful touch by Yummefy. We enjoyed it! We were party of 6. Memorable experience with quality food. Staff and services were clean and in utmost hygienic manner. read more

Yummefy has been around for a few years and I can NOT believe I am just now trying them out! The Spicy Basil Chicken stir fry is so delicious and flavorful and is currently my go-to. I sometimes visit twice a week to get it for lunch. The portion is so big, that I eat the rest for dinner. Service is great, and Mrs. Rose is so sweet! Please take the time to support this small business, you won't regret it! read more

This is a review for their delivery. Their drunken noodles and chicken momo (Nepalese dumpling) were very tasty. Portions were decent, too. I loved the lemongrass chicken in the momo. They also give you 10 decently sized pieces, which is generous compared to what other restaurants offer. If you're looking for a light lunch, an order of momo is a great option! The Tofu Pad Thai was just alright. Very salty, though - probably won't try again. I look forward to trying their curries next! read more

Most incredible edamame I've ever had. Pan-seared and tossed in a salty and garlicky spice blend. Couldn't stop eating them. Large portions for the price, I got the coconut curry and my buddy got the pad Thai. Both of us were absolutely blown away. Very friendly servers. So happy we found this gem on a work trip! read more

Ya'll need to try this place!! Came here for a nice Sunday lunch with hubs. The restaurant is light and airy, Nepalese art work on the walls and plenty of table seating throughout. The chalkboard sign outside let's you know the specials for the day. And they do have cute outdoor seating. The owners are a wonderful Nepalese family who are welcoming, friendly and helpful with menu suggestions! Also another Halal meat offering restaurant that I can bring my parents!! Vegan and vegetarian friendly too! The veggie spring rolls were delicious! Not greasy, right amount of crunch and the veggies were seasoned well inside. Hubs got the vegetable lo mein and I got the chicken coconut curry, HOT! Hubs was a bit disappointed with his noodles being regular spaghetti shaped noodles and his dish was not as seasoned. But honestly I thought it was solid, add some soy sauce and sriracha and it was delicious! My dish was a 10 y'all! Came with a side of rice and a small side of Kimchi. The chicken was tender, the curry sauce was full of flavor and it was spicy! They use chili paste to up the heat! The prices are great too with entrees being between $8-13 range. And portions were nice size! I'll be back for more! read more

I was glad to see that this restaurant was close to the hotel I was staying at--within walking distance. I went there for dinner. It is a very nice restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. The staff were extremely friendly and the food excellent. The portions were rather large so I got a to go box for the next evening. Definitely going back here on my next trip to Birmingham. read more

Yummefy is an excellent spot for lunch or dinner if you're feeling some oriental / Indian food. The coconut chicken curry is 10/10, the spicy Himalayan chicken is 10/10, and the chicken fried rice is 9/10 but it comes with a thing of yum yum sauce which raises it to a 10/10. Great restaurant with 10/10 service. Can't rate it 10/10 on yelp, so I'll have to give it a 5/5. read more

Came here for lunch on a weekday. They were pretty busy, but everything moved quickly. They operate in a fast casual system. The service was great and the owner was super helpful and nice. I decided on the Gorkhali Chicken. The chicken was seasoned well and I enjoyed all the seasoning. I added some extra sauce to kick the heat up even more. The rice was standard and I enjoyed mixing it with my chicken. Next time I'm going to ask to get my order extra spicy. Overall a tasty place to get some quick food or order takeout. read more

Spectacular and tasty food! very nice owners too, highly recommend, as this is top class Nepali food

This restaurant is soooo good. It's a mix of Asian foods on the menu, with a healthy amount of vegetarian/vegan options as well. It was started by the owners of Chai Market that recently burned. So glad they are staying & keeping healthy & yummy eating options downtown. I tried the veggie spring rolls, the veggie rice (really good, no egg!!!!) and veggie chow mein. The rice wasn't the typical Chinese fried rice, it was spicy and made with turmeric, and probably not fried at all. The food made me wish for a bigger stomach. Next time trying the pad thai. read more

The food here was really good! A really interesting mixture of flavors and influences that felt both adventurous and approachable. The owners were very friendly, and there was plenty of seating. My only critique is that they served the food in plastic to-go containers. This is great if you know you'll have leftovers--you don't even have to ask for a to-go box--but I think it makes the experience feel a bit "cheap." It's also awful from an environmental perspective, but the dangers of single-use plastic may not be as big a consideration for many as it is for me. Regardless, it won't stop me from going back! read more

Pretty good asain-fusion (how I would describe it, anyway) food. I ordered the pork bowl but substituted the pork for chicken. Food presents well and has good flavor. I also ordered the spring rolls which were nothing special and probably over priced. I would say this place is overpriced but I did get enough for 2 meals, so the portion size made up for it. I will be back to try some more entrees read more

The spicy Himalayan chicken was good but a bit bland like they the tiny bit of sauce that's in there as an afterthought. The dish was $13 and was small to begin with, and about half was just onions and bell peppers. It's pricey and not worth it in my opinion. read more

A unique merger of what most Americans would know as Thai and Indian food. The flavor was bold and unique. I'd recommend using their website instead of DoorDash because the menu is much better. Our second order to be delivered. Despite my instructions being planely noted on the email confirmation from GrubHub, the driver's instructions were printed incorrectly and he was instructed to leave the food at our front door (no contact). Fortunately our doorman saw the driver and brought up the food as I was on my way down to meet him. Food: TERRIBLE. Fries (cold, partly cooked, despite comments to fry crisp, fried Shrimp, UNDERCOOKED despite comments on order to fry crisp. Chicken had NO taste or seasoning, other food had taste, but a horrible flavor. Even the Fried rice was bad. Will not order again. read more

If you want diarrhea then this is the place for you. Food tasted awful. We had the chicken tiki masala which had a weird taste to it and chicken didn't taste fresh. The chow mein was too sweet and the pork with it was super chewy. The only thing we got that was ok was the bok Choy but $11 for a small container of bok Choy.. not worth it. The cook in the back was super unsanitary. You can see him from the dining room and how he touches his face and phone but doesn't wash his hands read more
