I went to Yum Yum Donuts and overall had a good experience. My bear claw was really good--fresh and tasty. My mom and her friends said their donuts were a little dry-ish, so not perfect, but still okay. The staff was very nice and friendly, which made the visit pleasant. I have NEVER been here. I came in for a coffee before work. I was trying to be good and resist getting fast food for breakfast and figured I would get a coffee and a banana, if they had any. I walked in and it was warm, large and bustling. It smelled delicious. Breakfast sandwiches were being churned out and it smelled tasty. I was surprised and very happy to see they had fresh pressed juice. I was good and ordered a green juice, coffee and banana. The green drink was really good!! It was on the sweeter side. He said he put pineapple in it. I hope it was all 100% fresh fruit/veggies and non of it from a bottle. There was pulp in the juice, so that's nice for natural fiber. The coffee was decent too! I saw they had a nice variety of donuts, sandwiches and bread/bagel types. The place looked relatively clean and kept up with. They even had a large calorie poster for their foods. Let's begin with the fact that some members of the staff don't speak English. Another customer had to translate and explain what I wanted... still got my order wrong and she was really rude about it. Even made me feel bad for not speaking Spanish. That's one issue, my other issue with this place is how unsanitary it is! I was so disgusted. I was about to order a donut, then I noticed flies swarming all over the donuts and crawling in and out of the muffins. This is such a health hazard, you're messing with people's health!! A couple of things with this location... Pro's: inside is clean and the staff has always been courteous when I go. They treat everyone, including the nearby vagrant people with the upmost respect. Con's it is nearby the freeway so there's always a lot of noise and there's a lot of nearby crime and shady people. There was an instance where I asked for iced coffee and the milk was spoiled. On a separate occasion, when I asked for a a milkshake type of drink, my husband had a sip and same thing, milk was spoiled. Ever since then, I stopped ordering any milk products. This place can be hit or miss. Sometimes the donuts are great, nice and moist, others a bit on the day old stuff and greasy. Yum yum does offer other items which is nice, plus they are open 24/7. Parking is sometimes an issue. Service is fast and friendly. read more

The staff was friendly and the wait was short, even though they seemed very busy. The shop itself was like most shops in appearance but I went in there around 9am and they had a full selection, which was very nice to see. A lot of shops only stay stocked for the early morning rush and sells the remainders throughout the day. Not this place. They had an excellent selection and everything looked great. Let's just say "my eyes were alive with the lights of a thousand fairies!" If you are looking for some great glazed donuts, check out Yum-yum! There are times that you get a hankering for doughnuts after hours and well... Yum Yum is open 24 hours. Yesssssss! Another highlight to coming here late night is that there is a good chance you'll run into cops giving sobriety tests to people since it's right off of the freeway. read more

They never want to make their "all day" sandwiches. They're never smiling, always rude!!! It sucks that they do not uphold the customer service at this location. I drive all the way to the one on Slauson in Pico Rivera because they have great service with a smile everytime!!! read more

Omg! So tonight My son and I were craving donuts, and decided to go there, since our normal favorite spot was closed already. I called in advance to ask when there freshest batch should be coming out and the employee told me in about 15 min, I then got there in 15, when I arrived he said it would be about 5 more min. So we decided to wait in the car, as we were waiting, about two more customers had walked in, and we noticed that the employee was the only one there, so not only was he making donuts but also handling customers and cash (without washing his hands) when returning to making donuts. We were totally disgusted by seeing that, as the windows are clear and totally visible to whats going on inside. Grossssssss!! Wasn't planning on going to yum yums specifically but since the last doughnut place I had gone to had absolutely no variety, I was very pleased I had made a stop here. Also the employees were exceptional with good service, one employee was even kind enough to watch my dog outside for me(since of course pets are not allowed)but none the less was very satisfied with my visit and a dozen of their yummy doughnuts. read more

Came to just have a bagel sandwich and soda. The soda was flat but I wasn't going to say something. The owner noticed and pulled out a few coke cans filled up my cup till he was able to switch out the carbonated tank in back. Sandwich was yummy and service was great! Will be back again. read more
