When I visit my parents in Whittier, I make it a point to stop here too--bringing pan dulce for my grandparents in Pico Rivera before heading over. Everyone that had a slice of the cake was also very shocked at how good it tasted. The cream is light, the mango portions are extremely generous, and the sponge cake in the middle is the perfect size. It was all very well balanced. I genuinely felt the love that went into this cake. The facility does also bake with almonds and walnuts. For anyone with peanut allergies, contaminants is not something to worry about.
