Finally got to stop by and try this spot out. A happy accident and right before closing. They were friendly and welcoming the vibe was chill and homey. I got the fresita splash from their summer menu was very good and refreshing. The guava cheese croissant was good too. They have a variety of flavors with coffee and no coffee options.

Super easy & free huge parking lot. Very hospitable & professional staff. Clean bright interior, inviting & roomy. Vast coffee & foods options. Average prices. Coffee yummy. Cafe de olla (not overly sweet & strong coffee taste).. Pan dulce was not soft. Tasty but firm. Ill return if in the area & the need arises. & i will recommend

First time to this location. I loved how staff were really welcoming. They offer a variety of drinks/pastries and seasonal items. Everything came out quickly and the items were delicious. My favorite had to be the abuelita Frappuccino. It was on the sweeter side but I loved it. They have ample space for seating and getting work done or just to enjoy your drink.

I accidentally dropped my drink that I didn't get to try and they were nice enough to make me another one. My dad ordered an empanada and Cafè de Olla. He liked it a lot that he bought a coffee bag! The pastries and drinks are amazing! The music choices were perfection and the setting was super clean, modern, and airy. Will definitely visit again :)

So glad this place opened up here in Pico Rivera, stopped in and got our usual amazing coffee and delicious Pan Dulce. I think this makes their 4th coffee shop now. If you're in the area, it's a must have!!

Definitely not what my order looked like.

Stopped by on the day of their soft launch (around 10:30 AM) since it's conveniently in the same plaza as my gym. The place was already busy, but the staff taking orders was fast. I ordered a fresa con crema iced latte, chocolate croissants, guava cheese croissants for the family, and a single red velvet concha for myself. The pastries were all delicious. After a slightly longer wait, I received what was clearly not my fresa con crema iced latte (despite the barista checking and sticking the order label on it). I didn't want to hold up the line or cause a scene while juggling the heavy pastry box, so I took it and left. I tried calling later to sort it out, but no one answered the phone. For $6.25 on the drink alone, it was annoying to end up with the wrong one, especially because that same morning, I saw their post on Instagram and went in specifically for that drink. Pastries were the highlight of that visit. The location is super convenient for me. I'll definitely give it another try soon and try other coffee and food options. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time!

Food is great and so are the drinks. I got a hot matcha with horchata foam. My friend got the hibiscus tea. And other one got the Spanish latte. Nothing vegetarian for sandwiches and empanadas. Service was good. Friendly. Ambiance was casual. There were old school Mexican songs in the background.

I really enjoyed the coffee, but I like the music to be a bit lower. The service was good.

New coffee spot in Pico Rivera. This chain is expanding. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking available. Definitely a plus!!!! The team was very helpful and sweet after my first visit. Pastries are fresh and delicious. Drinks are great too!!! I had the cafe de olla hot and my partner had the mazapan latte iced. Drinks aren't too sweet which is good!! Place is clean with plenty of seating available. 2 restrooms but no baby changing stations. Music playing in the background but you can still have a conversation. I'll definitely be back to this location since it is close to home. Thank you Pico Rivera loca.

This place just opened this week (wed) and I was excited to try its pastries and coffee. I came a Friday morning around 10:30am. It was busy considering the time. The line went by rather quickly. However, drinks weren't being called loud enough and numerous drinks were in the counter waiting to be picked up-- including mine. The sweet foam was already melting/watery and not creamy. I prefer my iced coffee to actually taste like coffee and it did, but not enough to my liking. The iced cafe de olla reminded me of the Starbucks brown sugar shaken espresso, probably due to the cinnamon. Wish it could have been stronger coffee taste; maybe an extra shot of espresso or two makes it better. The guava cheese croissant wasn't as good as I expected, even after requesting it warmed up. We also tried the tres leches red velvet cake -- oh my; it was so sweet! I'm a sweet tooth myself and found the sweetness overwhelming. Traditional Mexican pan dulce was good, nothing different. Maybe just my taste buds? In addition, Upon entering the small coffee shop; a chill, relaxing, casual ambiance awaits. Everything is very clean. There is ample seating and great natural lightning. The aesthetics are modern Mexican theme and they play mariachi music in the background. I will probably come back to try different items when the hype slows down and they improve a little more.

Artisan Sandwich Spicy Chorizo con Papa

Was very sad to see they changed the bread for the sandwich :( the chorizo and papa is still solid but I didn't enjoy this one as much as the OG. The dessert's here are all delicious but their coffee isn't very strong. Definitely would recommend this place if you're trying to get something quick.

Nice and clean coffee shop with the nicest workers! I ordered the iced cafe de olla with strawberry cold foam (last day for their Valentine's Day lineup), guava cheese croissant (so yummy!), and my mom got their hot horchata latte. Their drinks have the right amount of caffeine and sweetness!

I have been on a quest to try different coffee spots in my surrounding areas, but this spot may bring me to a halt (lol). That's when we noticed the coffee bar. Service was friendly and they do have a good selection to choose from. I stopped on a Friday morning for fuel (coffee) before running errands, and went with the strawberry horchata cold foam. I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect and not overly sweet. I also got a pistachio crescent, warm, and was delicious. I stopped by the following morning, and went with the pumpkin spice chai latte, which was perfect! And pistachio crescent to share with my son, which he ended up taking, despite him not having a sweet tooth for baked goodies like I do. Highly recommend this little spot!!

Only thing though is that the drive-thru is designed in a weird way, where the line kind of wraps around itself so you're going to be exiting back through the line instead of having a clear lane out. That and the drive-thru window is on the passenger side, so if you're flying solo it might be a slight hassle. Other than that, Tierra Mia is one of the better pick-me-ups you can find. Since it's popular, the line goes slowly but the employees do their best and it's always worth the wait. They're open early and close late so check them out any time you get a chance!

The last time I reviewed it was because I had a particularly bad experience with an employee, and this update to my last review is because of the same issue with a different employee by the name of Anna-Yi (?) I swear the baristas behind the counter here are some of the nicest workers I've encountered, so I'm confused as to why it's always someone in management who breaks that streak? I'm not even that delicate to where every unpleasant interaction deserves a review, I just actually can't believe these things until I write them down. I was waiting for my drink (small iced latte, exxtra ice in a large cup) when I heard my name called and a barista was waiting for me to tell me that I had to pay for the extra milk to fill the large cup. I explained that I wanted no extra milk and that I expected a cup full of ice, to which she argued with me in every possible direction, even insinuating that she was going to have to "re-train" the barista who rang me up. I asked her if she would feel satisfied with me paying for the "extra" milk as long as the cup isn't filled to the top and she just goes "Oh if you don't want extra milk then you don't have to pay for it." and from there I just agreed with everything she said. I was too dizzy to stand my own ground at that point. Completely unnecessary. Prime example of someone riding a power trip.

Still delicious though. Now let's talk about their chocolate-filled croissant... I'm obsessed. If you know me, you know I'm a SUCKER for croissants. Wee wee It's flaky, chocolatey, and exactly what I want in the morning. Their conchas are also really good and definitely worth grabbing. One thing I really love about this place that most people might not know is that they let you take their used coffee grounds for gardening. I was in the area and I've never had a cute coffee with the latte art (so many of my friends are going to roast me for this) When I pulled up -nice private parking -a staff member was outside painting on the windows with the cutest window art. The girl had talent! This place has also given back. They helped with the LA fires last year. So bonus points for places who give back. (They gave back to the Pasadena humane society) There was a pretty big line and it was pretty loud in here, but it went by very fast. My friend grabbed a table while I placed the order. -they do have a good amount of seating. The place is pretty small though. So we sat for a minute after our drinks came out and then decided to take it to go -they have latte art that changes every month. So I like they have some rotating options. It was my turn and I ordered two sugar free mocha iced coffees. One with regular foam, And mine had strawberry foam. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. So I appreciate him warning us and taking it serious. I picked the new hello kitty art of the month (hello kitty in a bathing suit with waves and dolphins) And my friend picked from the new monthly latte art as well, and got the Kirby character Even though it was busy, it took probably 2 minutes for our drinks to be made Matthew was absolutely great. His energy, he had a smile on his face, was knowledgeable about the menu, Matthew was everything you'd want in a staff member. Just like any coffee place, you pay and give them a name for your order, and then they call your name and you pick up your coffee at the counter. These drinks hit the spot!!! It was very trendy. They had Sabrina carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo specials and they even had a Lana Del Rey latte (cinnamon girl, named after her song) only thing that bummed me out They had a case with delicious pastries. But since I came here later in the day, they only had a couple stragglers left behind -they open at 7 am, for everyone needing their morning coffee -vegan options -free WiFi -woman owned -LGBTQ owned -they give back to the community
