My husband I came here for the happy hour. $5 cocktails is a great thing! I tried the margarita and paid the extra dollar to make it spicy. It was a $1 well-spent. Then I tried Transmit the Box, which was regular price, a mezcal cocktail, which was very good and smooth. My husband is a scotch lover and tried and hated the Penicillin. I tried it too and also didn't like it. It was way too sweet for a scotch cocktail. Most scotch lovers are not sweets lovers, so I was surprised in a bad way about this cocktail. The cocktails are all pre-made and served like a beer. Some people might be bothered by that, but I didn't think that made a difference if the ingredients were right. Really cool little cocktail spot located in a somewhat, off the beaten path portion of Wilson Ave. Cozy, dimly lit, and the ideal spot for date night, or a chill, intimate night out with a few friends. The space is a bit small, but not too cramped, and the clientele seemed more on the hipster side (which should surprise no one), but not to the point of being near gag inducing. Drinks are cheap and strong, with all cocktails priced at $8 and packing a decent to solid punch depending on what you order. The drinks are also all served on tap and in beakers, which is a pretty cool twist. I tried the Pineapple Express, Ruby Slippers, Administered Dose, Transmit The Box and a shot of the Chaos Theory. Loved the Administered Dose (Penicilin) - super strong with great undertones of ginger and honey. The only thing I really did not enjoy at all was the Chaos Theory shot, but chalk that up to my taste, as I'm not really a big fan of spicy drinks. Music was pretty cool, as any place that plays Action Bronson, Frank Ocean and FKA Twigs gets brownie points in my book. This is not that...I went in during happy hour 5-8 (I'm living for it) and I first ordered a old fashioned. Can I tell you the amount of times I have been given the saddest old fashioned. This was not one of those times. The drink was strong but in the best way. I made my way through the menu had the whiskey cherry coke concoction...somehow veered into gin and started downing Tom Collins. The drinks are well made and every drink was equal measure. First and last time I go to this bar. My boyfriend, a couple of his friends and I came here for some drinks yesterday night for his birthday. We sat at the very front near the entrance where this "bartender" was working (she wasn't really making any drinks she was simply pouring from a bunch of taps) It was busy and loud inside (another party was celebrating there birthday as well). We were trying to be nice and friendly to her since she was just standing there but she didn't reciprocate. It was 4 of us and we were all sitting along the bar trying to have a conversation as best we could since it was loud and this is when Ellen the bartender told my boyfriend to keep it down. My boyfriend apologized and we kept talking. Not more than 10 minutes later she again interrupted our convo to again tell my boyfriend that his voice irritated her. He was laughing!! That is what irritated her, his laughter. We were so mad, we ended up paying the bill and leaving. She completely ruined our time there, it was my boyfriends birthday and she couldn't handle his laughter at a freaking bar. This is not acceptable hospitality from a bartender, especially while someone is celebrating their birthday and simply having a convo in an already loud bar. And when she realized we were leaving because of her comments she didn't even apologize. Do not go to this bar, Ellen will ruin your time and the drinks aren't even worth it. Will also note Ellen is white and we were the only minority guests that she showed this sour side to. I hope this is wasn't the reason for her unacceptable behavior. Update: I see the owner has replied to my comment. Hi, I wasn't playing any card, I just noticed she was super friendly with all the other white customers and she was sour to my boyfriend the moment we got there. And borderline deafening? Everyone was loud in there and we were simply talking and laughing. And calling his voice irritating is extremely unprofessional. I understand you are defending your employee but her hospitality was absent with us and as someone is this industry you know that is the most important thing. The customer is always right how are you going to allow your employee to insult your paying customers? Really interesting Bushwick spot. I came here on a Thursday evening, having just missed the happy hour, which looks like it offers $5 cocktails (will definitely be back for that one). Even without the Happy Hour deal, the drinks are very reasonably priced, and, more importantly, quite tasty. They even offer a tasting map on the back of their menu which walks you through the flavors of all the drinks (e.g. salty, bitter, sweet, etc.). I had the Ruby Slippers (a Hibiscus Tom Collins) and a Daquiri, my friend had a Margarita and a drink with cocchi rosa and lavender. Unfortunately, the lavender in that one was a bit overpowering, but the other three were quite good. It's a fun concept, too, as all of the cocktails are served in little science lab beakers of varying shapes and sizes (you can certainly guarantee you're getting an accurate pour). The drinks are also all on tap, which are labeled like the periodic table of elements and have handles that are topped with little porcelain heads. If you can't tell, the aesthetic is a little bizarre but I was digging it; my only minor complaint is that the music was a little loud. Overall, a solid spot and will be back. read more

With only two bartenders there, they were able to keep a full bar happy and sauced which was impressive on a Saturday night. They are attentive, polite, and put effort into a very clean tap pour. I had both a beer (Bells Winter) and the fizzy Old Fashioned which were both great. I have a lot of mixed drinks about feelings, particularly after a few cocktails at Yours Sincerely. I'm really hoping this place keeps flying under the radar, as it's one of the most reasonably priced cocktail bars in Bushwick and probably all of New York. I don't think this will be a problem; I actually walked right past it when I tried to go recently. The bar is a long, narrow space, with a small counter up front and tables/booths in the back. It was full on a weekday night, so I can only imagine what this place looks like on the weekends. Nevertheless, if you want an innovative cocktail without paying half your rent for one, this is the place to go. Yours Sincerely focuses on draft cocktails; the bar is lined with taps of homemade mixers and alcohols that the bartender creates for you. I tried their take on a pina colada (the pineapple express) as well as a gin and grapefruit soda. The pineapple express was definitely on the sweet side but still had really bright and complex flavors, while the gin and grapefruit soda was simple but still very refreshing. And yes, the drinks are served in beakers. The pours are smaller, but to those complaining, when have you ever had a quality cocktail served in a pint glass?? Their drinks are also very strong and Yours Sincerely steps their game up by using a variety of large ice cubes, which doesn't dilute the concentration of flavors. Fantastic cocktails, great ambiance, awesome playlist. I'm a fan, and I'll be back to try the rest of the menu soon. read more

I came to Yours Sincerely for my 21st and I could not be more grateful that my first alcoholic beverage was purchased here. I walked in and was enamored with the low lighting and clean decor, the bar felt like a trippy dream with its white lighting and baby-headed drink dispensers. I ordered a $15 dollar flight after much deliberation on which drinks to pick. Each drink's flavor combinations are like an experiment, which is probably why they're served in beakers and test tubes. The drinks themselves feel otherworldly, picture sipping on a painting from the Met or tasting a rooftop garden in spring and you've got the idea. My friends and I scored a seat at the bar, which I highly recommend. (If you want the most romantic date of all time, I suggest one of the booths towards the back) Although it was a high class place, no one made us feel like children, even when my friends cheered as I took a shot at midnight. A beautiful, fancy place void of pretentious is rare, especially in Brooklyn, but Yours Sincerely accomplishes it. read more

I love how chill and easygoing this bar is and super clean and modern but I would recommend against the draft cocktails. Getting a regular drink is fine but I've had a couple of the draft cocktails and found them undrinkable. I think something about them being made ahead of time and letting the ingredients sit for too long makes the taste really bitter and intense.
