But can I just say, this was one of the BEST experiences we could have done/asked for. The tour dudes were awesome. Full of personality. No worries attitude. Loved it. They shared some great history and we definitely got our monies worth. They were enthusiastic about taking pictures and photo ops. We did a 9am sunday tour and they provided sunscreen if needed and water. They accommodated us from the get go as we were supposed to do a tour Friday afternoon but because of a flight into austin that delayed our arrival, they were happy to reschedule. My boyfriend and I had "Gator" as our tour guide. We really enjoyed this excursion. He showed us some of the local attractions and talked about the history. What we enjoyed the most was his personality and energy. I was pretty bummed that I didn't feel comfortable flying around on the bike alone. I rode tandem with my boyfriend. We've gone on a tour twice. We enjoyed the first tour in November when we took our nephew. He was 16 years old and loved it too. We decided to book another tour because of our experience the first time. My sister and her friends were in town for her 30th birthday. We thought it would be fun to do this activity. It was fun. I would give them 5 stars for the first tour and four stars for the second tour. The guide this time was cranky and didn't take us to fun locations. Tip: bring a handkerchief to wear on your head. Best Experience and Tour GUIDE EVER!!! Our guide was Patrick and he was phenomenal from beginning to infinity and beyond!!!! He called to confirm assuring us the tour we had and gave us more information concerning parking and food trucks. Upon arrival, we signed waivers and put on our helmets and proceeded to some safety discussions and riding. Before we knew it, we were on our tour with plenty of Photo stops, great food, and flexibility for the things we wanted to see. He was Amazing with my two boys 12 & 13. Crazy fun!!! Look, don't think that I wasn't a bit hesitant at first. Riding in traffic, in a new city, on a scooter wasn't really my idea of a nice relaxing vacation, but I'm so glad I did it! Kope made sure we were all super comfortable and super safe the whole time. We did a little training first just around some parking lots to get our bearings and to feel the power and practice some turns (I had never driven a scooter before) and then we were off to the streets. He took us on an awesome route around the city with interesting stops at cool murals and some historical Austin landmarks. When the tour was over, I wanted to go again..I was hooked! Met some cool people and got some really cool pictures (that I'm sure made my Instagram followers super jealous) and that I will treasure forever! Only thing, in order to drive one of these, you should at least be able to ride a bicycle, but you can ride with two people on one bike, no problem. You won't regret doing this!! read more

Wonderful experience. I'm a 64 year old female who hasn't been on a bike in 30 + years. This was so much fun. The eBikes make navigating hills so easy. Joker, our biker "gang" leader, was the perfect guide. The tour is through city streets but he was always keeping us warned along the way - where to double up, where to go single file, where to ride in the lanes, etc. I felt way more safe and comfortable in the traffic than I had expected to. Each bike has a one-way walkie-talkie so you can hear your guide's directions clearly. I went with my husband and we're locals but learned tidbits of history we didn't know throughout the ride. STOP WHAT YOURE DOING RIGHT NOW (after you finish reading this review) AND BOOK A TOUR!!!! I cannot say enough awesome things about our tour of Austin with YourBikerGang. At the beginning of the tour, we were familiarized with the bikes and everyone had a chance to get comfortable with them in a safe environment. We made some practice laps then hit the rod. Our guide (Cope) was very informative and told us a lot of interesting things about the city. We are from out of town, but I really encourage locals to go also. It's a totally different experience! Our pack leader Cope engaged us as a group and instead of just talking to us, he talked WITH us. We went on a 10:00 am ride on a Saturday morning so our group was pretty small. It was nice to have a smaller group instead of the larger group that was rolling out at 12:00 when we arrived back. You could tell that this wasn't just a job for Cope and that he really enjoyed taking us on the tour also. Seriously, he was freakin awesome. While talking with Cope on our ride, he told us that they also have a San Antonio location and are planning more locations. We are already planning a San Antonio trip JUST to get to do this ride there. You can bet I will be recommending this to all of my friends. As we passed people on the street in ATX, people were asking how they could go on a ride also. This is seriously the coolest idea ever. The concept is great. They really deserve their 5 star reviews. My tour leaders were John and Cope. Such great guys. Everything so relaxed and unrushed. This tour was the best way to tour Austin downtown and it covers many historical points including driskill hotel and Angelina Eberly monument. The fat electric bikes are so amazing! Love them. Great fun, easy driving, great views of our city. Friends in from Virginia booked this tour and I am so glad they did, because as a 25 year Austinite I probably would never have tried it. So at 4 in the afternoon we gathered, got a complete safety and handling briefing on these cool electric minibikes, a quick driving lesson in a safe lot and garage, then off to see Austin by minibike. The minibikes are silent, fast and easy to maneuver, and we either stayed single file in bike lanes, or two abreast in traffic. Safety in numbers, and our black bikes and black German-style helmets made us look even more badass than usual. Our guide was friendly and informative, and stopped at lights to point out sights and areas of interest. We hit a great food truck court (Picnic) on Barton Springs for dinner, and set off again to see more sights, including Auditorium Shores, Rainey Street, 6th St, the Capitol and the Governor's mansion. Bottled water, helmets and spray paint supplied, as a stop at the Hope Outdoor Gallery is included while it lasts. Fun for all, drivers 16 and up, and my friends' 10 year old daughter rode along with Dad no problem. Highly recommended. read more

Your first stop in Austin should be here. Its a really nice way to see the city up close and learn about the city. I now know where the oldest bricks in Austin are, thanks Tyler ;) They give a comprehensive briefing before you leave and have a quick course on handling to get you acclamated before you hit the road. It was focused on road safety and getting comfortable steering around. My background: zero motorcycle experience but confidence as a cyclist a 10/10, imho that means I have no issues riding with cars and traffic. I had no issues. You just always need to pay attention to your group and the traffic around you. I had a fantastic time. The tour is about 2 hours and we did the noon one, which includes a taco stop, but all the shops were closed (mon/tues) hazard. Instead we stopped at Ironworks bbq, which had some great lunch options. (You pay for lunch not the company) we zipped around austin before and after lunch, it includes a stop at the hope gallery until it gets relocated in a month or so. read more
