YourBikerGang and Captain Morpheus were so much fun. The tour seemed to cover a lot of ground and multiple neighborhoods of Austin. Captain Morpheus kept things fun and informative the whole time. Riding the E-bikes was awesome. They go pretty fast but are very easy to handle. Captain Morpheus took us on a practice run and helped us keep different riding formations depending on the streets/environment so we always felt safe and confident. The tour also helped inform some of our plans during our three day trip as we went back to South Congress for some great shopping options on Monday. Captain Edge gave us a fantastic tour this morning! Perfect photos spots and interesting stories about Austin. Appreciate the taco and BBQ recommendations. It had been a very long time since I'd ridden a bike, but we got a run through and practiced riding around the block before starting. He took plenty of pictures for us. They also had a bunch of fun helmets to choose from. Their bikes have a convenient storage bucket for bags and a zip pouch at the handlebar for your phone. Each person also got a bottle of water. Austin is a sprawling metropolis. It is not a friendly city to explore when it comes to walking around. Go to Your Biker Gang to get a tour of the city in two hours. We recently had a corporate tour of the city. We had a tour by two people who put us at ease riding electric bicycles. The bicycles can be peadled or use a throttle to run on electric power. Very easy to use. Our tour guide and sweep who was at the end to make sure the team was together and did not separate was well thought out. We saw quite a bit of downtown and alot of hidden gems that are off the beaten path. I have been to Austin over a dozen times on business but this was the first time I really got to see several sides of Austin. I highly recommend Your Biker Gang! Come on over. read more

Rooster rocked as a fun loving trivia spouting guide for our run around Austin. The bikes were well maintained and in good shape for all riders. Safety precautions were taken and the route was pretty fun. I would have liked to learn more about the city of Austin and less about the animal murdereding ass hole living in a big mansion with a giraffe statue, but the stops were fun photo ops and our guide Rooster made the day for us. This experience is a blast! Where else can you lean back on your own fat boy and cruise the City without a license to ride? Granted, they top out at 20mph and your guide takes pretty good care to make sure you don't end up in crazy bad traffic. We went out on the morning trek with Justin. He did a great job teaching us the basics before we hit the road. It is important to remember this is a 'tour', not just a ride. Consequently, you make several stops during the tour to dismount, chat and take pictures. In addition, you only move as fast as the slowest rider. Unfortunately, they don't subscribe to the theory of Survival of the Fittest. Justin did a fine job explaining little factoids about the city as we tolled around. Our group was most intersted in scenery and music, so those are the sites that he spent most of his time on. The only regret I have is I would have liked the option of cruising around a bit on my own at the end and just letting the bike fly down the streets. I think 20 miles per hour may be understating the performance of these beasts, but we never really had a chance to find out. read more

Great tour! Fun to get around Austin on motorized bikes. Felt like I was back in my younger days riding around town with my mates. We arrived into Austin early in the morning and like to get the lay of the land before we head out for the rest of the weekend. This tour was perfect for that. Super fun and a great way to checkout a lot of sights around Austin! I was in town with my husband and another couple and we were on the way from brunch to sign up for a bicycle tour when a biker gang drove past us.. Your Biker Gang. Of course the two guys in our group wanted to check this out instead of the bicycle tour and there were exactly two open bikes for the next tour of the day. Being that you can have two people on a bike, we opted for the Biker Gang ride. Upon arrival we electronically signed a quick form and were immediately given helmets and goggles and went outside for a bike riding safety tutorial. They use mini electric bikes for the tour.  My husband has motorcycle experience and had no issues instantly being comfortable riding it.  We were told if you can ride a bike, you can ride one of these and nobody seemed to be struggling throughout the ride. I saw quite a few ladies driving them too.  We started with a practice ride into a nearby parking area and then headed out onto the streets of Austin. Tyler is a great tour guide. He was loud enough that we heard him at the back of the pack of maybe 16ish people. We drove all over, including by the Capital building, the Forever Bicycles art by Ai Weiwei, Graffiti Park (we were given some spray paint to set our inner artists free), The Moody Theater and Willie Nelson Statue, a park that showed the beautiful skyline and a few other spots.  This was a great tour and I highly recommend it, I hope we get one of these in Florida! read more

We did a second ride with this outfit! This time we chose the night time ride to go watch the bats at the Congress Bridge. Our fearless leader this time was Cope aka Peanut! This dude knows Austin and he told us all kinds of interesting facts along the ride. He was also one of the few people at the bridge that brought a red light so we could see the bats even better. If you want to feel like the cool kid rolling down the street... if you want a great tour of Austin without tiring your feet out.. if you want to feel the sun on your face and the breeze in your hair.. I highly, highly suggest YOURBIKERGANG. My family tends to lean toward spontaneity.. so Sunday, 8:30 AM, searching for something to do in Austin before heading home.. they stumbled upon this attraction. Once 8:59 hit, my sister in law called.. made friends with Ryan T... requested the Yelp Discount.. and happily accepted the offer to be squeezed into the 2:00PM time slot later that day. From the get-go, this crew was helpful, informative, patient, and most of all.. accommodating. We only had until 4pm to finish our tour so they were able to abbreviate their ride for us without compromising the experience or the sights. This is great for people young and old.. you don't have to be an avid biker or motorcyclist to enjoy it. For the best experience- wear closed toe shoes, a baseball hat, and sunscreen. Bring a cool drink for you and your driver. Also, don't forget some cash gratuity to give if you enjoyed the experience. My husband and I are more the food tour type but if something like this is available, I'd take it. I was surprised to learn it's only been in operation for 3 months! A couple of evolutionary suggestions for the proprietors: 1. Provide a map of the stops and sights so we can come back and visit on our own time. 2. Find a way to attach sound to the bike so the tour leaders can narrate as we go (maybe blue tooth or something into the bike or into the helmets). 3. Would be cool to add a food aspect to the tour. The tour is great as it is already so if you're in Austin add this to your list! p.s. We had a group of 7 girls for a bachelorette party. Patrick was our road captain. He showed us a smashing time. He has a fun personality, catered our needs, and was our personal photographer. We did the food truck tour. The food truck tour stopped at one food truck site for maybe 20-30 minutes. We biked the rest of the tour and stopped at picturesque spots around the city. Patrick played all the great tunes so it was fun to jam to music while biking. If you think it may be hot, don't worry. When you bike, there is a nice breeze. Don't forget to wear your sunscreen. The bikes have a compartment that you can store your personal belongings. 2 cold, plastic water bottles were included and a nice surprise of a popsicle at the end. read more

It's my bachelorette party, and I'll ride bikes if I want to! YourBikerGang's tour of Austin was easily one of the best I've ever experienced. I wish YourBikerGang had branches all over the world. Our captain was Joe, and he guided us every step of the way. We practiced on our bikes around the neighborhood and then we were off onto the mean streets of Austin. This was such a fun and unique way to explore the city with my girls. At key spots, we jumped off the bikes and walked around for some prime photo opps. A friend of mine, who had never ridden a bicycle before and quite possibly weighs all of 90 pounds, had difficulty holding the weight and getting a hang of the bike. She ended up riding on the back of Joe's bike and served as the paparazzi for the day. We got so many great photos and videos from her since she was always on the leading bike. Joe was AMAZING, super friendly, and incredibly informative. Book a tour earlier or later in the day to avoid high heat temperatures.
