We opted for the nearest parking, which was the Hyatt Regency lot that is the suggested and closest one described on the tour website. From there it's a short walk to the dock to board through the hotel lobby and bar area. The captain was great and funny. The whole tour lasted about an hour and we got a view of the bats leaving the fridge from below and an informative tour while waiting. The price is reasonable for the experience and it's a cool sight for tourists. I'd definitely recommend it!

We booked this boat ride for a birthday, so it was meant to be a special experience. Overall, the…read morescenery was beautiful and the ride itself was enjoyable, but there were several issues that took away from what should have been a smooth private charter experience. The communication beforehand was not great. The driver texted me the night before around 7:45 PM, and when I replied immediately with concerns about the weather and rain, I didn't receive a response until after 10 PM. The email also stated that the driver would contact us 15-30 minutes before the reservation time, but that never happened. Our reservation was from 9:00-11:00 AM. When we arrived at 9:00, no one was there, so I had to text the driver myself. He responded saying he was getting the boat ready and putting gas in it. In my opinion, those things should have been done ahead of time so guests are properly greeted and the ride can begin on time. When we boarded, the seats and boat were still wet from the rain. Since it was chilly outside, sitting in wet seats for a two-hour ride left our clothes damp and uncomfortable. To give credit where it's due, the driver was friendly and enjoyable to talk to during parts of the ride. However, he also took phone calls during the charter, which felt distracting during what was supposed to be a private birthday outing. The biggest disappointment came on the ride back. The driver stopped to assist another boat that had already said help was on the way. He tied their boat to ours and pulled them in, which significantly took away from the private experience we had paid for. While helping others is kind, it felt inappropriate during a paid private charter, especially one booked for a birthday celebration. Additionally, the trip ran later than scheduled, and there was never any communication about the delay. Our reservation was clearly scheduled for 9-11 AM, and it shouldn't be assumed guests are okay with going over time simply because the ride started late. People may have plans afterward, and communication would have gone a long way. Overall, the lake itself was beautiful and parts of the experience were enjoyable, but the lack of communication, late start, wet boat, interruptions, and detour during our private charter made the experience fall short of expectations.

There was 6 of us so we were looking into getting a pontoon. While I was planning the trip, I looked into quite a few companies and Nauti ATX had the best pricing and they even had a discount code which was great! I spoke with Trisha, who was super sweet and was able to answer all of my questions. I was also able to book the boat with her so I could avoid the booking fees online. We ended up booking the 12 passenger pontoon for 4 hours. Prior to the date, they sent a link to fill out the waivers so we wouldn't have to worry about doing this the day of. When the day finally came, we received a text that connected us with our captain Jezek and instructions of how to enter the marina. Jezek was very friendly and he was able to hook up our music. He asked where we wanted to park and of course we had to go to Devil's cove! They had the big bright Lily pad which was perfect for us to get on and lean on while in the lake. A cooler was also provided with ice and bottled water. When we got back to the marina, Trish was waiting for us and it was so lovely to meet her! I always love putting a face to people I speak with over the phone. I highly recommend using them for renting a boat in Austin. I will definitely be booking with Nauti again!

Before arriving to the dock, Trisha, who has been coordinating with us, and Brett, our captain, contacted us about half an hour ahead of time notifying us that Brett was ready for us at the lake whenever we arrived! Upon arrival, he provided a cooler with ice and water bottles for us to use to store some of our sandwiches and drinks. The boat ride was extremely smooth and he provided much insight into Lake Travis! The boat was equipped with speakers that allowed us to play our favorite songs and the slide & lily pad were a nice added touch! The girls and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the location he chose, Devil's Cove, was great for pictures and swimming.
