I paid $68 for acrylic nails, and instead received press on nails with gel polish applied on top. Even still, my tech was nice and only doing her job, so I tipped her. I will not be back and will advise everyone to steer clear. You would be better off to buy a $2-$10 press on set online and apply them yourself. Well I was getting my nails done and a lady came in wanting to buy a gift card. The girl said please wait a minute. So she served one lady she just finished and she paid I thought the girl would get the gift card. The lady asked for the gift card again and she said I know. Please wait. So she walked over to another customer and started her nails. How Rude. The Lady walked out mad. How long can it take to get a gift card? I will not come back for that reason. Catty is my nail mom. She is the best out of all the girls since she so gentle and it's actually relaxing. However, I did my nails with Jenny this time (because catty doesn't know how to do gel fills) and she did a wonderful job with my gel nails. I love the final result, but it was kind of painful at some parts when she buffed (she buffed so close to my skin) or when her nails started digging into my skin. I had to call her out several times. Also, I don't know about the hygiene of this nail salon. Other than all of that, I love my nails! read more

I was extremely hesitant about coming back here because last time my nail was filed so thin that it ripped off with my extension! However, I decided to give them a chance after a year and I was satisfied. There is a lot of colour choices and while I prefer a very narrow coffin shaped nail, I think the shape they did was still good. Place was clean, price was as on the board and the staff are friendly and remembered me by name from the last time I was here! One of them even asked about my family member and how they were doing even though we haven't been for at least six months- made the experience much more personable. read more

I have been living in Terra Nova for 22 years before this crap of a nail salon opened up, and I am extremely dissapointed at how disgusting they operate and treat their customers. Not to mention, the lack of skill and care these 'technicians' have. The owner (Vietnamese man who is always sitting at reception) also treats his customers as bad as they do nails. Anytime you enter this establishment you will be pressured into getting more services and if you say no, they will keep asking, making you feel uncomfortable during your service. I wanted a regular manicure (no extentions as I ride a motorcycle) and after explaining myself countless times they would still share laughs and pressure me and try to guilt trip my personal and extremely reasonable decision. As if my excuse wasn't valid enough. I first came into this 'salon' to fix a nail that was broken. What the technician did was KEEP the old glued on nail on, and put another one on top of it. Shape was supposed to be pointy and it was literally I kid you not a cross between an almond and oval shape. I went to another TRAINED salon immediately and they were in shock at how bad it was and that I had even paid for it. I returned to the salon the other day to get my nails with a few crystal's off at 5:45PM, (they close at 7), and the owner looked at my nails and laughed and said he wasn't going to do that because getting my crystals off would take too long. This service typically takes any trained technician I've had in the past half an hour at most. Living right next to salon I was stoked upon opening but I will be waiting for the day this shit place closes down. Please save your hard earned money somewhere else and think twice even if you think it is convenient. read more

I like this salon very much. I wish though, that they would get more polish colours. It's always the same selection every time I come. They don't seem to keep the colours current and on trend. My sister and I have been coming here for years, from their old location in the same mall to this location. We always get gel nails and reg pedi. Absolutely no complaints about the fantastic staff and trust me, we've gone through all their staff, and the quality of work is by far more superior than other nail salons. Have gone to a much much more expensive salon and I was not at all happy after spending close to $200 (gift card) for a regular mani/pedi When YN was not opened on Sundays years ago, I went to a nail salon in Ironwood and my nails and toes had to be redone in less than a week!! Poor quality polish. Went right back to Younger Nails and never strayed again. We come here every three or four weeks and always leave happy. They are a very busy nail salon with lots of regulars, but always manage to fit us in. What more can we ask for? Highly recommend Younger Nails. read more

I'm sorry, but the lady who refuses to give you a hand massage after paying $40 for your nails needs to be booted out of there. I've been there three times, and had her do my nails twice. Thought that maybe the first time she was having a bad day, so I gave it another go with her. Well, it was even worse the second time. I had to ask for her to put cream on my hands at the end, and she scoffed, like I was asking her to do something out of the ordinary! She just slapped cream on my hands and said, "ok, you're done!" My friends have had the same experience with her and other employees there. So, needless to say I never went back there. I would highly recommend going to Amazing Nails in Blundell centre just 5 minutes away. They're super kind there, and do a thorough job without complaining. Kim is my tech and always can fit someone in within days.....I've broken several nails all fixed with no charge. They may have limited colours to choose from but can overlay any colors to make it unique. My go to salon. Better than double the price at some with a 2mth wait. read more

My mom and I went to get our nails done because we were going on vacation, it was a decent experience but the lady i believe her name was amy kept fileing one side of my nail so their all crooked and i asked her to make then rounded but she kept filing the sides and they became sharp so i didnt really like that and when she was fileing my nail bed she filed it so thin that it bends and its barely been a week three of my nails have broken from how thin they were filed there was little globs of polish left onder my nails at the very tip which is very annoying i dont think i ever want to go back. read more

What I really have reservations about younger nails are customer service and the quality. They like to do your nails not close to the edges of your nails so you come back sooner, even you told them again and again, to paint your nails closer to the edges. i did my nails elsewhere and I don't need to come back for almost a month. When I do it at younger nails I have to redo my nails almost in a week or so. Some ladies are super mean when i have request. They would not reply to my request and speak in Vitnamese to their coworkers and laughed.They used to do quick massages to your hands, but no more. read more

This place is clean , the women who work here are very nice, very quick and do an excellent job. Their prices are on par with most other nail salons in the area. They have a wide selection of regular nail polishes and gel polishes. In addition to manicures and pedicures they also do waxing which makes it convenient. They take walk-ins as well as appointments and there is plenty of parking in the building complex. Definitely very happy with my experience here and will most likely be coming back. read more
