The experience was very soothing, and the technicians were gentle and checked in frequently to ensure the length and colors were to our liking. During my last visit, I had an appointment with Britley. I specifically told her to make sure my white tips were done properly so they would not come off, and I also asked for proper cuticle cleaning. Unfortunately, the work was poorly done, and not even a week later my tips are already coming off. I paid around $250 for a manicure and pedicure, and while money was not the issue, I expected quality service for what I paid. I had previously told Lilly that I preferred a more senior technician since Hayden had been moved to the downtown location. When I called back today asking them to fix the issue, they gave me an appointment with Hayden, who apparently is back now. However, when I tried calling again for over an hour to change the appointment time, the staff repeatedly hung up on me (which has happened before). Eventually someone answered, I politely asked if I could change the time, and they immediately hung up and blocked my number. This level of customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have also personally witnessed staff mocking customers behind their backs, and it feels like they clearly have favourite clients while treating others poorly. After being a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed. The environment feels toxic, and the way customers are treated is unacceptable.

At first I thought cool, very efficient but it was quite difficult to try to keep my feet still for the one girl while I twisted so the other girl could do my opposite hand. My manicure was shellac and turned out great but the UV light they used for my shellac also burned my hands the first few times I put it in. I've never had that happen, I don't know if it was a wrong bulb or something? The woman told me it was because my nails were "so thin" or that some people have allergies. Considering I had no allergic reaction to the paint, I'm going to discredit that and it wasn't burning on my nail but underneath so I have no idea what the issue was. I called in the morning and booked an appointment for the afternoon that day to get a shellac manicure and pedicure. The service was meh, but I'm used to that at many nail salons. Most places (unless they are high end, or located in yaletown or something), the service is usually rushed, and their motive seems to be to just get the job done quickly and move on to the next customer. So I really have no issue with the service here. What I'm disappointed about is how long (or short should I say) my nails lasted. It's only been 3 days and my nails already started cracking and the nail polish starting peeling off. Usually shellac lasts for 2 weeks minimum. It's only been THREE days! I paid $80 including tips to get his done, and it only lasted me a few days. I could have bought a regular nail polish at shoppers, and did them myself, and it would even last longer than these 'professionally' done nails. Really a disappointment, especially having paid almost a hundred bucks for these. Will definitely not recommend.
