She asked specific questions to help focus the work and make it more accessible to my target market. I provided her with some of my self-created rack cards and postcards as a starting point, and she was able to keep what was good (colors, text, logo) and completely re-vamp and improve the rest so that it included amazing infographics, pictures, and drawings. I never would have been able to design something like that on my own, yet I still see my personality shining through in what she created! The process seemed fairly simple, I think partially because she was really clear about what she needed from me, and what she was going to create herself. I needed someone to fabricate a concrete base with a stainless steel pin for a sculpture I was making. Joel was very responsive to my emails, gave me a reasonable quote and was open to meeting and discussing my ideas. His work is precise and he even finished the sculpture base before his original completion date! After I brought the sculpture home, I realized the pin holding up the wood was too long. Joel was completely fine with adjusting the length and did it while I waited. I would definitely recommend Elemental Studio to anyone who needs fabrication.
