TLDR: Having a tracking number and a receipt does not guarantee anything…read more Unfortunately the workers here are not all competent, so pay attention. I had to send two large checks overnight. The desk clerk took my envelope and the printed label and placed them to the side of the register, gave me a receipt and moved onto the next customer. I should have trusted my gut at the time but I gave the clerk the benefit of the doubt. The package never arrived. I called the store and spoke with the manager. He watched the surveillance footage and confirmed that the desk clerk never took action on my package and it sat next to the register all day until another clerk took a quick look at it and threw it away. The manager was very apologetic and told me he held a meeting with all staff about the incident and reinforced what the proper procedure was: package item, put label on immediately, and place in proper area. Seems like common sense to me, but unfortunately some workers lack that. I'm lucky I could put a stop payment on my checks. I would have been devastated if they did this to something irreplaceable. I returned to resend my package and this time the desk clerk (different person) followed proper procedure. I'm only giving 2 stars because the manager was diligent about reviewing the situation and following up with me timely. Otherwise, the behavior of that first desk clerk was absolutely unacceptable.

Grand Copy Center saved the day for these kids (and it looked 10x better than where they usually get them printed). Appreciate an Oakland business that is easy to go back to again and again.

I placed two orders by 2 PM on a Tuesday because I needed them on Thursday so I knew they would be ready on Wednesday. They were NOT ready by Thursday. I needed some of the items on Friday so I went in to see what the holdup was. Mee was there. She could not explain why nothing was ready. I asked, "How long will it take for me to get to one flyer?" She told me 30 minutes. "30 minutes? To print ONE flyer?" "Yeah, because it evolves cutting." Really? One piece of paper that you don't have to cut at all will take 30 minutes because it involves cutting? I did not have 30 minutes to watch her print one simple piece of paper because I had to go to get ready for this event. One of my orders was ready on Saturday and the other one was ready on Monday. Apparently someone messed up the second order because even though I received a phone call that it was available, I could not find it in the order pick up area. I looked through each order three times. Then Mee couldn't find it. She didn't seem to believe me that someone called me, so I literally played the voicemail for her twice. She found it in a different area where packages are delivered. Apparently my order was shipped to another location and then someone caught the mistake and shipped it to Alameda. I would never trust them with another order again.

They acted a bit frustrated/annoyed by that, but things happen and I corrected myself right away and checked with them to make sure they were printing the right version.
