Digitek Printing is a fantastic place for large format prints. My experience with them was quick,…read moreefficient and seamless. I had a large format portrait photograph printed on their black 3/16" gatorboard, laminated in semi-gloss. I uploaded the file to my Google drive, sent them the link and the print was ready the next day. The result is an extremely durable, water and weather resistant, warp-free, color accurate "poster." Although the word "poster" doesn't do justice to what is really a fine art print on super rigid hardboard. Their store front in the Apparel Way office complex off of Industrial (a few blocks from Lowe's on Bayshore) is neat and tidy, and has plenty of street parking. Although I didn't really get to interact with the employees, the gentleman who handed me the extremely well- packaged print (including oversize cardboard backer, so no edges can get dinged--nice!) was very friendly and courteous. The prices for Digitek's prints are quite reasonable, especially compared to inkjet fine-art giclee prints. Plus there is the added bonus of being able to choose foamboard or hardboard (gatorboard) backing, which you an actually touch without ruining the print. The gatorboard print I got is technically "mounted" on the rigid panel. But to my eye, there is no seam. It is as if the photo was a part of the backing or printed directly on it. Again, a color-accurate, durable, very high quality presentation for fine-art photography. I can't recommend Digitek highly enough.

This was my first time placing an order on print materials and I forgot to mention many details concerning the type of paper I wanted (i.e. glossy, matte, regular uncoated paper, paper weight, etc.). I really appreciated Joel's patience and willingness to walk me through the process of figuring out what I needed while keeping overall costs in mind. In the end, I went with 80# Gloss Text in two different sizes for two difference brochures (ordering 1,000/ea) - 8.5'' x 11'' - $195 8.5'' x 14'' - $295 Those prices included folding (tri-fold for the letter size, quarter-fold for the legal size), and also PDF proofs prior to printing. We finalized my order on September 11th and the brochures were delivered ($10 fee) on Friday, September 22nd, just in time for a slew of job fairs at work. The brochures turned out beautifully (perfect paper weight and type, glossy and vivid color photos and text). TLDR: Having a tracking number and a receipt does not guarantee anything…read more Unfortunately the workers here are not all competent, so pay attention. I had to send two large checks overnight. The desk clerk took my envelope and the printed label and placed them to the side of the register, gave me a receipt and moved onto the next customer. I should have trusted my gut at the time but I gave the clerk the benefit of the doubt. The package never arrived. I called the store and spoke with the manager. He watched the surveillance footage and confirmed that the desk clerk never took action on my package and it sat next to the register all day until another clerk took a quick look at it and threw it away. The manager was very apologetic and told me he held a meeting with all staff about the incident and reinforced what the proper procedure was: package item, put label on immediately, and place in proper area. Seems like common sense to me, but unfortunately some workers lack that. I'm lucky I could put a stop payment on my checks. I would have been devastated if they did this to something irreplaceable. I returned to resend my package and this time the desk clerk (different person) followed proper procedure. I'm only giving 2 stars because the manager was diligent about reviewing the situation and following up with me timely. Otherwise, the behavior of that first desk clerk was absolutely unacceptable.
