David went above and beyond on my Aunt's obituary. He was very communicative and kept me in the loop every step of the way. He and his staff were very kind and handled my print project with sincere care. The quality of these obituaries are very nice and made with great attention to detail. I contacted them 3 days ago, because of the 5 star reviews. I filled out their form for pricing and still have not heard back. I just needed 200 double-sided copies on Goldenrod poper. I will assume my job was too small to be worth their trouble. I'm disappointed read more

We live in Los Angeles but needed a special order printing job for an event we are attending in San Francisco. We called ahead to make sure Duxwell could process the order. We uploaded the artwork so David (owner?) could assess, but planned on having the posters printed once we arrived in SF. When we got to the shop, we were surprised and beyond impressed that David went the extra mile and had the prints all ready to go. Wow! They look FANTASTIC but more importantly- David showed a level of exceptional customer service that is so rare these days. Thank you so much, David. Please support this and other local small businesses read more

They are so quick and good quality and service and good price! I so excited I found them and will print more!! a true SF gem!

I contacted Duxwell on a Friday afternoon around 3:30pm because my work team needed posters quickly for a hiring event the next day. David was so courteous, calm, and clear when we spoke on the phone, and I learned that anything size 12"x18" can be prepared in under an hour. Since the prints were needed before 10am the next day, David said we could either pick the finished posters up later that evening, or he could call the specialist in earlier Saturday morning. It turns out, David was gracious enough to call his technician in the same day and the team was able to pick up 5 posters just a few hours after I initially reached out! The quality of the items we received is great, but more importantly, David and the Duxwell team were wonderful to work with. We would not hesitate to reach out to them again for help again! Furthermore, I would absolutely recommend Duxwell for businesses in the financial district. It's about a 10-minute walk to their facilities and they have the best customer service and offerings compared to other printers in the neighborhood. Contact information on Duxwell's site is clear and makes it easy to communicate for your projects. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Fast turnaround, very professional and kind! Easy to communicate with via text. I will return!

Amber was amazing to work with! She is very friendly, patient, professional and helped me decide the best paper weight to use for my projects. She even worked within my budget, which I appreciate so much! The prints came out great and the cutting work was excellent, too. Turnaround time was quick! Will definitely be coming back for all of my printing needs! read more

Incredible service, really hard-working team. I needed a rush printing job for a work assignment and was very stressed, I came in as a walk in. David came up to me and got everything sorted very fast, was very attentive, professional, made sure to get everything exactly right and made it very easy for me, he took care of everything. He also paid attention to little details like giving me an envelope for everything without me asking, he also gave me a discount as well and his place was the best deal already! Clearly an experienced and savvy business-owner, he knows what he's doing and clearly wants to go above and beyond for the customer. Fantastic mom-and-pop shop, this is the kind of small business I love. Def visit him and his team for printing needs and more, they go above and beyond. read more

This place honestly reminds me why I love supporting small, family-owned businesses. Every time I come here, the service is incredible. David and his team are attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. I don't have a printer at home, so I've had to rely on them multiple times for last-minute work documents, and they've never let me down. They are consistently responsive and have gone above and beyond for me, even turning around same-night requests when I was in a pinch. 10/10 would definitely recommend! read more

Service was incredibly fast, and the staff friendly and very knowledgeable. I recommend!!!

Overall, l've no interest to write reviews, but this one is so well- deserved! In need of a picture being restored, l contacted Duxwell Printing and spoke with David. After explaining it's poor condition, l felt doubtful. Tho l was then reluctant to visit (besides the long distance and by muni) David was hopeful. He suggested dropping in and said, "we'll see what we can do." After the picture was examined, along with the knowledge, patience and immense effort from Amber ... results were greatly improved! In the foyer of the shop, a sign reads, " Happiness is Serving ". True to these words as David and Amber have created a hidden treasure, bringing a very warm welcoming presence of a Mom and Pop Shop! This dynamic duo was perfectly matched..it seemed like they were working 24/7 for me! Even if l had left with unmet needs, l still gained the joy of inviting service, charmed attentiveness and above all, being appreciated ... l truly was the VIP! Thank you, David and Amber for providing the very best of rewarding service! read more

They were SO helpful in getting last minute wedding items printed that we were short on. They were quick to respond and ready to help in any way they could. Everything was high quality at a good price, plus going above and beyond to print the items so late and staying there to give me time to get there from outside the city. 100% would recommend. read more

I had a large paperback book about 2" thick that I was looking to cut into several smaller, spiral-bound books for easier reading. Office Depot told me the book was too thick for their machine, so I searched around and discovered Duxwell Printing. I gave them a call and David answered. He was very friendly and thoughtful in explaining what product and pricing options I had. I decided to come to the shop to drop off my book and it was quite bustling with many customers coming and going. An order like this would typically have a next-day turnaround time elsewhere, but even with how busy they were they said they could get it done by end of day. I came back a few hours later and was very pleased with the finished product and the whole experience. The customer service and quality from David and the team is excellent, and I will definitely come back in the future. read more

Duxwell Printing is a fantastic little shop in the heart of Chinatown. David, the owner has been in the print business for nearly 25 years. He's very nice, extremely helpful and professional. I had a rush job and needed over a thousand pages of legal documents printed and he knocked it out in less than an hour. I just walked in off the street and he said no problem. I strolled down to a corner restaurant and had a nice Vietnamese lunch and by the time I finished and sent a couple emails, David had everything packaged and wrapped up for me. Don't go to the big corporate copy businesses, stop in or call David at Duxwell. read more

David, Amber, and Duxwell are for the people!!! In one week we piled on a lot of work onto their team (which was due to some holes in our planning). In some cases, this kind of request would be met with opposition because other print shops runs their business like a business. Duxwell without any complaints (when they had every right to) completed our orders with a lot of care, even taking the time to call me to confirm my prints before they went to press. David cares about the success and well being of his collaborators. So much heart. I love this team and will be printing there for as long as I can!! read more

David was incredibly responsive and helpful. Unfortunately my own personal printer broke before I was able to print addresses for my wedding envelopes. I already had the envelopes I wanted to have printed, but many places do not take customer supplied envelopes. This was not a problem at all for Duxwell printing. I stopped by to show David the envelope size/type and he said it would be no problem at all for their shop. I had 139 envelopes addressed for only $20. A very reasonable price for the service. The envelopes came out perfectly! And David had the printing complete the very next day! 10/10 service. I will be coming back here for any of my printing needs and would recommend to anyone who's in a pinch. Definitely saved the day for my wedding invitation envelopes! One thing to note is that I already had a mail merge file completed and the envelopes formatted for printing on a Word document. It's recommended to provide Duxwell printing with the PDF file of addressed envelopes so your fonts and sizing are exactly the way you designed them. When you PDF your word document mail merged envelopes, it should PDF to the correct size if you've set up your word file correctly. read more
